Martins Cleaning and Painting

We enlisted the aid of Martins for work related to winter storm damage. Despite making appointments to start the work on particular dates, they didn’t show for one (not calling until very late, causing my husband to miss hours of work waiting for them) and were late for another. They performed the original work, including opening up a ceiling, patching it again, and painting several walls. This was done without incident. We also asked them to install a screen door — this seemed to be a struggle and we have since had trouble with the door. Another carpenter came to take a look and informed us that the door was installed both upside down and backwards. Lastly, we have recently discovered that in moving our large entertainment center to paint a wall, they must have broken one of the back legs off, discarding it under a couch. We received no notification about this at the time. I have now left several messages and have yet to talk with someone about these issues. Very disappointed in this unprofessionalism. Buyer beware.

This is the best company out there and so affordable. I got 4 quotes Martin’s was significantly cheaper, but the quality was outstanding. I even called a list of references and they all spoke so highly of the company. The previous owners had let the outside of the house go and the whole thing was peeling. I have never seen a crew work harder. After peeling, patching, and sanding a million spots they painted a coat. They realized the house still had imperfections and did a 100 new spots of patching and sanding. Being a perfectionist I would sometimes pick the smallest thing for them to do over and they were always willing. I even didn’t like the color of the door that I picked and they redid it free of charge. They also did a beautiful job on our indoor ceilings, especially the cathedral ceilings and cut in so well.
