Love this place! I go there at least 2x a week when I go into work. Such a bad habit to break but what can I say I’m a sucker for pan de queso. Prices are cheap n good service. Highly recommend visiting.

A small slice of Brazilian heaven. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Try the chicken & cheese coxinha(co-sheen-uh). They are delicious!

ok stumbled on this little place by accident just looking for a cup of coffee and a small sweet of some kind. The owner could not have been nicer! He served our coffee in real mugs when we said were going to sit and have it in the bakery. I wanted to try a piece of the puddin and I got a HUGE slice with my coffee for 4.00. Everything there looked good but my friends and I were so full from the puddin we couldn’t try much else BUT I made sure to buy the wonderful cheese and bread balls — not sure what they are called but I recognized them because a friend of mind always has them at her house. They were wonderful! This is a nice place and even though it’s a little out of my way — I’ll go back!

So it is very difficult to order not knowing what ANYTHING is, but i felt like i was in a different country, pointing at things and taking a leap. The pastries I tried were good, but I felt like things were a little pricey, on regular roll was over a $ 1 with tax! Any bread with cheese was good, so maybe next time I will enter and say give me one of everything with cheese! I will try it again and update y’all.

good food, but I agree that they need a sign with their prices, with the language barrier can be very confusing. Good food though!

I take the Framingham commuter rail every morning so on one particularly adventorous day I decided to stop by the Magic Oven bakery, one of the local Brazilian hot spots in the area. I admit, I can’t speak a lick of Portugese so the cashier and I could not understand each other very well. But when I pointed at a pastry that caught my eye, smothered in strawberry jam the cashier and I spoke the same language… the language of delicous bakery goodness. Holy god was it delicious! I have no idea what it was but unlike American pastries it was more bread based than buttery, pastry based, kind of like Challah. The jam was fresh and tasted like strawberries, not like some fake flavor add-in. So overall, delicious, messy, and cheap. I highly recommend!

Food is good. Prices are great. Coffee is so-so. Perfect place to warm up while you’re waiting on the train to Boston.

One of the better bakeries in framingham. I have no idea what nost of the stuff is called. The filled pastry with cheese and corn is a winner, as is the ham and cheese baked into a roll. Most of the bread is good examples of portuguese style. Unfotunately I am not a fan of big puffy blandness. The pizza is expensive and bland. Good for stopping by and pointing at interesting looking pastries.

Delicious baked items and one of the friendly people behind the counter brought a couple of piping hot cheese balls to our table, gratis. Will be back to work our way through the enticing case of snacks and desserts. Good coffee too.

I wasn’t sure if this was a bakery on-site. It seemed a bit uncertain if it baked their breads and goodies on-site or not. It is a nice little café type of place where you can get some Brazilian breads, rolls, and fried empanadas. It seemed like it’d be decent place to hang out until the Framingham train pulled in. They also had a cool selection of brazilian drinks. I didn’t like the fact that they lacked signs and prices. Make it easy for the customer to order please. Although the customer service was nice and quick.

We stumbled upon the Magic Oven while waiting for the commuter rail in Framingham. This busy Brazilian Bakery does one heck of a business. Cars are constantly pulling into the small parking lot. The Magic Oven is small but they do have a few tables. There are no signs or menus. We didn’t know what anything was. However everything looked really good and fresh. We basically pointed to what we wanted. I am adventurous when it comes to food so not knowing was fun! I ended up with a chicken empanada which was delicious and filling. The dough was different from any other empanada I have ever had. My husband had a giant piece of doughy bread stuffed with meat and veggies. I tried a bite and it was good! We wished that we were on our way home because we would have ordered a little bit of everything. I will definitely take the Framingham commuter rail the next time I am going to Boston just so I can have some Brazilian pastry at The Magic Oven!
