Family Style Pizza

The food is pretty good but the staff are always rude over the phone. Plus they cannot process newer credit cards with a chip, which unfortunately is all I carry.

If I could give this place no stars I really would! Ordered online a medium cheese pizza large sub and a steak kabob dinner plate! The guy came and boyfriend got the food and when I came down stairs there was only two things! He had no idea what i had ordered called family style pizza back and the guy is telling me they didn’t have a delivery to my place at all! After telling him ¾ times what I ordered he says «oh you did online» I did yes he said I never ordered the kabob plate! Then he said he will make it but it will take awhile to get to me. I told him to come get his food I don’t want it! When the delivery guy came he had the order in his said and asked what the probe was I told him I wasn’t paying $ 30 for a large sub and a medium pizza that’s insane. He said you ordered 3 things I said yes but only got two he was playing stupid like he didn’t know any English my boyfriend got irritated and told him to take the food back and refund my credit card! Needless to say this wasn’t the only bad experience we have had with them and this will be the last time I ever order from them again! I hope they get shut down poor communication and no English or they play it off it’s irritating!

Something about their pizza is amazing. I can’t pinpoint the ingredient (s). Also, I’ve had a turkey sub a couple times and I don’t know if they have miracle turkey and mayo because they both taste incredible. The soft sub roll compliments the turkey as well. I like the family vibe of the place.

Literally the WORST possible experience with food I have ever had in my entire life. Food took 3 hours to deliver. The driver yelled at me on the phone because he has no clue how to read a map, or understand directions in English (extremely thick accent impossible to understand). When the food came 3 hours late they messed it up. I ate in anyway because I paid for it and I was hungry and a few hours later I had the worst shit of my life. I felt like my stomach was bleeding. For God’s sake do not put yourself through this. I’m telling you like a truly concerned friend I will never eat here again.

Very mediocre. I had a buffalo chicken wrap… with no buffalo flavor it was grilled chicken with some kind of watery, greasy ranch/​buffalo nightmare sauce. The whole thing was soggy and it made a mess everywhere when I tried to unwrap it. After that, I ate it, and it was just very «blah» not much flavor, very messy and greasy, and overall a huge disappointment. My girlfriend got the fish and chips, she said it was very dry and pretty bland overall. We are both usually very laidback people and not very critical. I almost always have something good to say about a place, but this was just bad with a capital B. The only reason we ordered from here was that it was still open. Next time if it’s too late, I’ll just have some cereal. Too pricey, poor quality, and a delivery driver who wouldn’t come to the second floor where our apartment is. If you’re looking for good delivery near Framingham State, go with Andrea’s or «The Subway».

This is my kind of pizza, yes it is a tiny bit greasy, as mentioned, but it is not the flavorless greasy that makes you a little ill, it is the ‘wow, how’d they get the cheese to taste so much better than any other pizza” type of greasy.
The other food is great too and not greasy, so just get a gorgeous meatball sub. I asked my hubby for a bite and was sad that I did not get one for myself, but then remembered my own pizza.
My fav is the eggplant pizza. Eyes roll back in my head when eating it.
And onion rings??? amazing, seriously just perfect. Not sure what they are putting in for ingredients because some people have flavorless onion rings that are not worth the calories and cholesterol, but these are so amazing that we often wind up fighting with the kids over the last few.
There was a place in Brighton called ‘Red Sauce” that we were trying to replace and this is it. down to the onion ring perfection.
We had been looking for a perfect pizza place since moving here and it took a long time for us to stroll, starving into this place, since we never got the flyers and there are so many pizza shops around that are very good also, but it is our favorite now.

Went with the kids & grand kids. That is a handful. Came out with money in my pockets which is a good thing. Having a small crowd of six meant we could try a smattering of almost everything.
Start with the pizza. Good pizza at a great price. Got the special that you did not need the coupon for. One plain, because you just have to try a plain and a typical place like this. The other with the pepperoni also did not disappoint. I could eat this pizza every night. Had some for breakfast the next morning and it was great!
All the rest, the steak sub, the burgers, the fries, the salads etc were decent sub shop fare. Again, very eatable, good servings, and the kids ate everything too.
In the neighborhood and want pizza? A sub? I would definitely recommend stopping in. Good food, friendly staff and great prices!

Went again tonight and got a grilled chicken Gyro & a steak and cheese sub. My friend said the Gyro’s sauce had little flavor and chicken was chewy (not good quality). I wish my steak and cheese had the cheese mixed in better since there were several parts of my sub that was just a biteful of meat without cheese. The steak quality in my sub was good.
Overall, I’d come here if there was nothing open (they’re open to 11pm every night), but I try not eat at a place where people don’t seem to care about the food they put out. How can you screw up subs?

If I could leave a ZERO, I would. There aren’t a lot of great options in our area for pizza but we decided to give this place a try. OMG… NIGHTMARE…PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND NEVER ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!! We got a Greek salad, which tasted funny, then I noticed the feta was really BAD and STRONG tasting. I eat Greek salad’s almost every day (didn’t feel like making one last night… my bad!). So it tasted really funky and I only had a few bites but I got really sick from it. The pizza, people said it was greasy so I figured I could do the paper towel trick, no such luck. This pizza is so UTTERLY HEAVY WITH Thick DISGUSTING GREASE, two bites and my fiancé who can usually handle greasy food said he felt sick and could not eat another bite. The lasagna was nasty, drippy… didn’t even taste like lasagna! Just drippy bad sauce with no flavor and a little cheese and well it was GROSS too. Even the fish and chips my friend ordered he could not eat because it was so heavy with dark nasty grease. The fries were mushy, dark brown from overused grease and pure bad tasting mush, no crispiness just pure LARD. PLEASE people, I beg you… do not go to or order from this place. I called and just asked them to replace the RANCID salad, don’t know what I was thinking… guess I just wanted to see if they had any honor or professionalism at all!!! …NO THEY DO NOT, the guy actually told me RUDELY, that it was an hour away (we live like 10 min, max away) and they made an exception coming to us! We spent $ 40 bucks, that’s why they came and they SCREWED us over and would NOT make good on anything, saying it was too far away and there was NOTHING they would do. SO… IF YOU DON’T ENJOY PUKING AND FOOD POISONING AND LARD RIDDEN, FLAVORLESS, CARDBOARD, RANCID TASTING, FOOD… STAY FAR, VERY FAR… FAR…AWAY…FROM THIS NASTY PLACE!!! I SHUDDER TO THINK WHAT THE KITCHEN IN THIS PLACE LOOKS LIKE!!!

I like the pizza here. It is greasy but yummy. I really love the mozzarella sticks! They are gooey without that breadcrumb coating that most places have. The prices are decent and they deliver-​though I always pick my stuff up. The staff is friendly though a little too friendly-​always calling you honey and sweetie. It makes me not want delivery cause I don’t want them to know where I live. Luckily I live close by so I can pick up my food.

Family Style Pizza was one of my favorite places for takekout dinner when I didn’t feel like cooking (often!!!) because the food is delicious and cheap. The place is practically «spitting distance» from my old place on the other side of the railroad tracks. I could see the back of the building from my window.
This casual pizza joint is order at the counter (I phone in my orders) with seating for up to 20 people in the dining area. The menu offers fresh dough pizza (12″ & 16″), 16 kinds of specialty pizzas, salads, calzones, pasta dinners, lasagna, grinders, wraps, quesadillas, chicken, gyros, fish & chips, dinner plates, and appetizers. Lays chips, Coke products from the cooler, and ice cream bars available. The prices here are very good, most items $ 4.75-$ 9.50.
I’ve enjoyed the Steak Tips over pasta served with salad & bread, Chicken Cacciatore, Alfredo Shrimp Pizza, or a simple Sausage Pizza. The pizza crust is crispy on the outside and soft inside. The food can be slightly on the greasy side, lots of cheese and oil. The service here is good and the food is usually ready in the time promised, a 2 minute walk from my old place.
I do miss having a solid good convenient pizza place like Family Style near me, but I do not miss livin’ in the «hood» with very LOUD TRAINS passing through this sketchy section at all hours of the day and night. Those trains blow the horns way in advance of the Bishop Street RR crossing, rattling my building. I got used to it after a while.
