My parents and I are frequent customers here, and we go out of our way to get the top notch service and quality that DeScenza offers! We love the beautiful, unique pieces in their stock, and we have been in for all kinds of occasions. They never steer us wrong! I want to mention our experience yesterday in particular, because it really sums up the whole reason we are such loyal customers. My grandmother recently passed away, and my mother and I received a WIDE variety of her jewelry, both costume and fine jewelry pieces. All kinds of metals, a couple mystery metals and stones, missing stones, funky clasps… you name it, it was in there. Francesca helped us get through it all, and she was SO fantastic. She kept everything organized, never over– or under-promised on what was possible, and had great advice about how to transform some of the pieces. We could NOT stump her! She was able to speak knowledgeably about everything we threw at her. I found it *most* impressive that she was so knowledgeable about some of the old gold and stones we had… it wasn’t just identification, but a full knowledge of what was possible and not as a result. She was absolutely amazing and her customer service was phenomenal! I can’t recommend DeScenza enough. They have served my family reliably for many years and will fit many years to come!

My fiancé and I just returned from picking out our wedding bands here at De Scenza. My engagement ring was purchased from a family run jewelry shop in RI that I have done business with in the past and liked but we decided to try De Scenza after a coworker of mine recommended them. They had gorgeous rings and the woman who helped us was soooooo friendly. She loved that my fiancé and I were local high school teachers and she really helped us get gorgeous bands within our price range. We were in and out in about 30 mins, the woman made the process so seamless. She knew my budget and what I wanted and only showed what fit that. She was more than willing to show me something different when I asked and was very accommodating to our last minute time frame(we have a month until the big day). All in all, I can’t wait to get our rings and I was very happy with the experience.

My fiancé bought my ring here, it was custom made. It is STUNNING. I came in 4 days after the proposal to have it resized and two lovely women helped me. They brought it back to the jeweler and he said he could fix it while I waited! It was such a relief not to have to part with it! Overall, my fiancé and I both had a great experience.

After shopping at another local competitor, I came into DeScenza and I am glad that I did. I worked with Caroline through the whole process of creating an engagement ring, and even had to make a change of size halfway through. My fiancé and I were shopping for an engagement ring and stopped into Descenza. First of all, this is a local family business which is something that appeals to us. The salesman who assisted us, Neil, was great. He pulled out every ring we wanted to see and was very unobtrusive while we went back and forth between three rings. When we finally decided, he brought us out back to look at loose diamonds, showing us several for comparison until we decided what we wanted, even though the store had closed while we were there we never felt rushed or pressured to purchase. Though we did not purchase a ring yet, I am very confident that we will be back to visit Neil in the near future to purchase my ring.

Very disappointed in the customer service. From the time we walked in the store until the time we left we felt rushed and unwelcome. My boyfriend and I were looking at engagement rings and are very close to purchasing one. The salesman didn’t bother to even ask our names or take time in trying to figure out what we liked. It was a terrible experience and they have definitely lost a big sale because of the disrespectful customer service!

I have an Ebel watch that I took to DeScenza to have it fixed. I was told that the«board was corrupt» and that it would cost me $ 450 to repair. Luckily, I did not have it fixed there because when I brought it to Long’s jewelers in Natick. It only needed a battery!

My Raymond Weil watch needed a battery and the first jewelry store didn’t know what to do. They tried to pry it open, but scratched and dented my watch instead. Then I took it to De Scenza in Framingham and they knew exactly what to do. They replaced the battery and buffed out the scratches. They were so nice about it and make you feel very comfortable. I recently had a diamond ring repaired there having them replace lost diamonds and repairing some prongs. I was amazed at the beautiful job they did. The ring shines brilliantly and looks better than the day I bought it. I only trust them with my jewelry.

Bought a nice Gold and Titanium Omega Constellation watch about 7 years ago. Needed a battery. Brought it back to De Scenza. The man who«assisted» was rude, and after some debate as to whether the battery could be replaced there — finally did so. Why do these companies sell high end watches, and then offer low end service? Why not provide courtesy and appreciation for a customer that has spent a significant sum on high end watch. For that matter — you could probably get better treatment as a watch kiosk across the street in the mall.

There’s a saying that«if you don’t know jewelry, know you’re jeweler». The first part most certainly applies to me, so when it came time for me to shop for an engagement ring I went to the place that has treated my family well for decades — DeScenza’s. I looked over a number of diamonds in the comfort of a back room and the gemologist was great to work with. He wasn’t pushy at all, really just answering questions and chatting while I looked at stones. When I wasn’t quite satisfied with the selections he suggested he get some others from other locations and I come back in. I was perfectly willing to take my time with such a large purchase, so was fine with making another visit. On the second visit I found a great diamond and completed a ring my fiancée loved. We went back for our wedding rings and had another good experience. We were offered a discount for repeat business and her custom ordered ring came in under estimate. Based on a fair amount of research done before my purchase and conversations with friends who shopped elsewhere, I was also pleased to be confident DeScenza’s pricing was competitive. I probably could have saved a 5−10% on Bluenile, but wouldn’t have had anywhere near the level of service or personalization that I feel is important for such a purchase.

ok so I’m not usually in the market for high end jewelry or 1.75−2 carat diamonds. I have made quite a few purchases over the years and have found the sales people incrdibly helpful but for one time I had a sour apple that made the experience unpleasant. I typically will buy a birthday bangle for my niece or a gold bracelet or something of that nature, I may not be spending huge wads of cash. But, I always leave feeling like the most important customer. I have been a few times buying charms for a bracelet I started for my niece and the sales associate Francesca was the most knowledgeble and kind sales associate I have run into. She really went out of her way to make shopping at De Scenza a really nice experience. Jewelry stores always make me feel uneasy. I would give the sales associates 5 stars. I would definitely return as the selection is varied and as I mentioned the sales staff are 5 star indeed.

Good prices and selection. However when I had them remount my wife’s diamond ring in a new setting we purchased from them, they switched the main diamond to one of significantly lower quality, with flaws I knew were not present in the one I had originally bought.
