McDonald’s

I’m addicted to pop so I go to a lot of McDonald’s Restaurants. This one is by far my favorite simply because of the staff. The food is always the same at them all so yeah. The staff here are always smiling and happy. They are fast as well. I’ve noticed there’s a lot of blue shirts at this particular McDonald’s so I guess that means they have a lot of managers??? Not sure.

Poor service, high prices and terrible food. Ever since this McDonald’s renovated they have increased pricing to a ridiculous level and their service and quality have gone further down the toilet. We stopped this morning and it took three times for the employee to get our order. She was too busy chatting (we could hear her on the drive through speaker)… «I’m sorry, can you start over?» We then get to the window and she hands us the food and not drinks. We watched her transfer orange juice from a larger cup to a smaller cup and fill it only ²⁄₃ of the way. To top it off, it was warm and an up charge. Absolutely unacceptable. We won’t be returning and will be telling everyone we know to avoid it at all costs.

Granted it’s McDonalds, but our school bus was stranded here for quite awhile, the service from the employees was above and beyond. The bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was great. Our school sent another bus driver to rescue this bus and then get it towed, back to Grand Rapids, a hundred miles away. I am that bus driver. I was given a complimentary lunch, I offered to pay, but being the manager that this restaurant employees, gave it to me. Hats off to Sean, the manager, and his crew. You are at the top of our list. I spent four hours stranded in this McDonald’s along with about a hundred other drivers who’d sought refugee after an SUV overturned on I-​96 and the state police shut down both sides of the freeway.
The staff were super accommodating and stayed open past 11, which is when they were supposed to close. It’s McDonald’s so there’s not much I can say about the food. Service was excellent. They gave me extra whipped cream and chocolate sauce on my shake and I wasn’t charged for a hot mustard sauce for my fries.
Bathroom was clean (and they cleaned it every 30 minutes while the hoards were there).
There is free wifi, like all McDonald’s restaurants in the US. There are six outlets throughout the dining area. They have two of those high café style tables, one outlet is behind the one which is closest to the middle of the room. The other outlets are all at booths except one which is in the northwest corner behind the last booth.
Overall a great McDonald’s experience!
