Wicker Rattan Mart

I absolutely love this place and I have been purchasing from this store since the 80’s. I’ve purchased dining room tables, to sofa beds to dressers and nightstand. I am continually impressed with the quality of the furniture, knowledge of the owner/​manager Rose, as well as the endless options of furniture available through her catalogs. I kept returning year after year because of I couldn’t find this quality of rattan and wicker furniture for this pricing. Wicker-​Rattan Mart is truly a gem of a find and I tell everyone about it. My only regret is that I no longer live in So Cal where I can visit the store, however I am able to special order items from Rose and have them shipped to me directly to my home in Colorado.

We bought a beautiful wicker set from the store, good quality furniture with a unique design which is not easily found in other places.
The owner Rose is very friendly, easy going and knowledgeable about the wicker furniture.

My wife and I recently bought a rattan living room set and were very pleased with the entire experience. Rose was an absolute pleasure from the first time we walked through her doors. After having the furniture at home for a few weeks I noticed that the chair was a little darker than the other pieces. I called rose and she immediately had another chair frame delivered from the warehouse that was a perfect match. Wicker Rattan Mart sells only the finest pieces and we are very happy with our new furniture. Thanks again Rose and we will be certain to stop in whenever we need additional pieces.

I have bought many things here over the years, going back to maybe 1995. I’ve bought a sofa, chairs, a dining set, a hamper or two, as well as some paintings and some decorative items. I have found unique things here no one else has. I used to think wicker and rattan was lame until I came in here and saw this more contemporary type of stuff that doesn’t look like its leftover from set of the Golden Girls LOL. For example last time I was there was a contemporary sectional in this awesome purplish black color with modern lines. Maybe after my tax refund!
I enjoy shopping at cool shops like this rather than the big furniture stores which all seem to carry the same thing. I also appreciate the customer service. I can’t stand going into a store and wanting to buy something and not being able to find someone to take my money. This will not happen here. Highly recommend.

Previously I reviewed this place & gave them a terrible review. However, after purchasing an item or two, I want to re-​review. I’m glad I gave this place a 2^nd chance.
Rose (one of the owners) is a little old school, not quite comfortable with technology, & so in order to order items you will have to pick through her catalogs — some of which may be outdated with unavailable items. Some of the items are no longer manufactured — which is frustrating if you are trying to purchase a set (as I was).
Don’t get me wrong though — if you want great wicker or rattan (I bought a beautiful rattan set), this is a good place to come. Just know that you will have to be even more of an active consumer/​advocate than you may typically need to be for the outcome you desire. e.g., You will need to triple check what kind of cushions she has you down as ordering, what fabrics you want & if they are actually available, measurements of actual sofa seating you are ordering (versus the random dimensions some catalogs give).
Also, sometimes Rose can be a little grumpy, so be prepared for a little bit of sass. haha But she really does mean well & she is very fulfilled by helping others with their furniture purchases. She gets a lot of return customers for this reason, I think :-) Now that I’ve purchased something, we have a warm connection… which would surprise the hell out of most friends who heard me describe this experience at first blush.
I do recommend this place — especially to those who are hesitant to purchase a sofa sight-​unseen via website or catalog — most of the best places for rattan are in Indonesia/​Asia via East Coast manufacturers & distributers. This is a nice way to work with a local family-​owned business who will help you get what you want with some decent options as to price. They are honest folks.
