Regardless the bad comments about the change in ownership leads to the downward of this donut shop, this is definitely my «must-go» place for breakfast and sweet treats. The service is awesome. They’re always friendly to the customers and my food is always fresh :) P/S: will get some donuts home today after work!!!

This used to be our hands down favorite place for a quick lunch on our lunch break… But lately, there’s been a lot of debate about whether we want to go. The main reason? The prices have really creeped up, and the increases have really become evident. We used to be able to get an amazing lunch for around $ 5 — now the same lunch is around $ 10, when you add the increase to the basic item and the more expensive combo addition. It’s a good thing Dana is still there! She is an amazing, friendly employee and we often go out of loyalty to her. The new owners have been friendly, too. But the prices are just making this more of an occasional«treat» then a regular lunch spot. Oh, and they sell cigarettes now. For me, that’s a down point. I’m not a fan of smelling smoke while eating… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Went in to check this all out for myself because I really couldn’t believe that a simple change in ownership could be THIS bad, THIS quickly… Well, it’s confirmed, unfortunately. Nothing about this is place is the same as before. RIP Kelly’s Donuts. You’ll be missed.

Honestly y’all it just ain’t the same anymore. under new management, a ton of new faces, besides our main girl DB. Go there just to see her now pretty much lol. It’s not just the service tho, the food isn’t the same, and prices went up. The new name just breaks my heart«Glee’s» like whaaaaat.

Really good donuts and very sweet customer service. Just by watching the staff interact with the local customers you can tell they are a neighborhood gem! Got a doz donuts mix… Including their nutella blueberry and pb-n-j –got the old fashion glazed, red velvet cake and some raised glazed donuts –i didnt get the fresh strawberry custard croissant… It looked delicious! Next time. They all tasted very fresh and good fresh oil. Nothing tasted heavy, too sweet or stale. My office colleagues loved them. I also got the ginormous ham, cheese, potato and egg breakfast burrito with salsa and it was yummy… Seriously good for 2 meals. The only bummer… I live in north long beach… I finally found an awesome donut shoo though. When ever im headed down south I will be sure to stop by!

I used to be a huge fan of Kelly’s. I told all my friends that it had BOMB breakfast burritos and the donuts weren’t bad either. Now it’s hard to go back to those thoughts :/ I woke up at 6am since that’s what inebriation will do to you: screw up your sleeping schedule. Proceeded to check on my cats via Neko Atsume on both devices. What a joy it is to get more gold fish. But I digress. My tummy rumbled, which signaled it was the time for the most important meal of the day: breakfast. I was feening for a breakfast burrito from kellys, since the last time I ordered one was when I was still at school. Memories of those fluffy eggs, crispy hash browns, and plentiful protein such as sausage, ham, bacon, chicken, and even fish clouded my mind. I called Kellys and placed an order for a steak burrito with one hash brown, light cheese, sub one egg for an egg white and add another egg white(don’t judge me, trying to eat better here hahaha). I was told to come in after 20 minutes and was quoted $ 6.50. A little past 20 minutes, I’m on my way. Somehow the driveway entrance here is sort of tall, so my tire actually rammed into the edge … Gg and good luck. I had waited a little while in line, anticipation slowly building waiting to fill my growling tummy. I was quoted $ 6.50, yet the guy asked for $ 8.10 … Which I thought was a tad odd. I could have voiced something but didn’t. I just thought it was weird how you say one price on the phone but request something different … Okie dokie ._. I walk toward my car and unwrap the miniature behemoth. Upon first bite, I realized some things: steak was a mixture of 2⁄5 gristle and fat and 3⁄5 meat, hash brown wasn’t as crunchy(even when I brought it to school after 30 minutes it was still crispy), and the egg lacked fluffiness. The steak was bland but tender, just way too much fat for my liking. The hash brown was mushy which is pointless for being fried, and the egg lacked salt and pepper. I was utterly disappointed, knowing I now had a void in my heart that wouldn’t be replaced anytime soon. One of my loves had changed ownership and it was apparent. Sorry Kelly :(

Words cannot describe the glory of the breakfast burritos I get from this place. Unassuming local and exterior with a mom n’ pop build, you would not expect something so cheap and beautiful as these masterfully filled(and cheap) burritos. I would have considered lowering a star for the laggy wifi, but this place doesn’t scream«study here» to me, but rather«we sling that dank breakfast stuff, so lay down some cash and get it yo.» I’m not a big doughnut fan myself, but I’ve never heard a complaint about them, so it must be all good. Who could complain about doughnuts anyway?

I can see the other Unilocalers saying this place is under new management so I get it now lol. Here we go! I came here because my BF and I have been seeing it on Unilocal for months now and haven’t got to try it. The Nutella Cronut and strawberry custard croissant caught my eye so one day I was out and decided I was going to find this place. I call ahead to make sure I was going to the right one since we tried before with no luck on finding it. The man on the phone was delightful and friendly. Upon arriving there was a cashier of sorts, a middle aged Asian man who took my order. Their display case was seriously lacking and my impression was opposite of what I expected. There was about 25% of the donut case filled and it was about 11am. I always see donut shops with replenished goodies consistently so this took me by surprise. Back to the customer service, the man was not friendly at all but straight to the point. I asked for the cronuts and croissant because that’s why I drove there out of my way to find it. He says I don’t know if we have them, I was like wow… but he quickly asked another guy if they can make it in the back. They told me it would be a 10 minute wait which was fine I had no other plans anyway. Next, I see another Asian man in a button up and tie and he is walking in and out making sure things are getting done. Not sure if it’s the owner or manager at this point but he politely tells me to have a seat inside because they were getting the AC on. I thought that was nice of him and his friendliness pretty much cancels out the lack of with the other two employees. A smile would be nice or a greeting. Ratings on Nutella Cronut 5⁄5 Soooo crisp and chocolatey! Everything you want in the name Nutella Cronut, even if you can see the deep fried oil in it which is expected. It was worth the million calories. I believe this was about $ 2.50 for one. Strawberry custard croissant 4⁄5 Really good too, love the balance between tartness from the fresh berry and the sweetness from the custard. Anyway, I will give this place another shot next time and hopefully I can upgrade their stars but for now it’s a 3. Service was inconsistent and didn’t bring me a happy experience but their goodies were spot on.

Today was my first visit since the change in ownership, and the quality /value of Glee Donuts seems to be suffering from the transition. Some prices have increased, the cashier misheard the food order, and management on-duty yelled at an employee. The croissant wasn’t nearly as warm as usual(since they forgot it in the microwave). Nothing catastrophic, maybe this was just an off day. I’ll be back for more breakfast burritos.

This has been my favorite place to go to for the past few years. My favorite things in the world reside here, the chicken & egg breakfast burrito(with added avocado *a MUST*) is SODELICIOUS. Along with the blueberry coffee that they serve there. I’ve never been to a place that had blueberry coffee, so I’m really stoked Kelly’s has it. Also, my favorite worker there Dana is so BOMB!!! She remembers my name and my orders and takes good care of everyone!!! I love people like that! It really makes the place seem even more awesome! I also found out this place is under new management, but the new owner seems really cool and personable thus far! I’m excited to try out their garlic fries and excited to see what they have in store for the future! Best of luck!!! Wifi along with electric outlets would be an awesome addition to the place! I would love to be able to study here because they have awesome food and coffee. I hate the food they serve at coffeeshops usually.

Must Order: chorizo breakfast burrito, donuts and more donuts I don’t know how I haven’t reviewed this place before since I tell anyone that comes to this area to give it a try! The chorizo breakfast burrito is where it’s at. With hot and crispy tater tots, eggs, cheese, and chorizo wrapped up in a cozy tortilla, you can’t ask for anything more! Except maybe a bed after eating this because it is sure to cause a food coma. I’ve also had their apple fritters and my husband loves their red velvet donut. All in all a great mom n pop donut shop.

So we don’t live in the area, but a few friends highly recommended this place. Mainly because I am a burger and donut holic besides cupcakes. Every item we tried are the BEST we’ve ever had. For instance, we had the Bacon Cheeseburger and Breakfast burrito. Seriously, the best Cheeseburger and Breakfast burrito we’ve ever had. For desserts, we had the cream cheese red velvet and strawberry croissant. It was most definitely the BEST Donut and croissant we’ve ever had. Everything was so delicious we got some to go and just had the Cinnamon roll and Apple Fritter. Guess what? Yip, the BEST Cinnamon roll and Apple Fritter we’ve ever had. I was surprised how inexpensive everything was, considering everything is so gourmet. In addition, how immaculate the place was for being so busy. Not to mention, the customer service was beyond superb. The manager Long and Dana was exceptional. Both provided us with accomodating world class service. Although it’s quite a distance for us, we can’t wait to come back and try other items on their menu. I bet you their bagels will also be to die for and I love bagels. Thou see you soon Kelley’s. Tips: They are super busy, so be patience with the wait, I promise you that it’s way worth it. Quality: 10⁄5 Cleanliness: 10⁄5 Customer Service: 10⁄5 Quantity: 10⁄5 Price: 10⁄5

Breakfast burritos. I start salivating after saying it. It’s so damn good. I usually get the works no ham, extra bacon, with sausage links(instead of the patty) and jalapeños on the side. Salsa on the side too. The salsa just tastes like canned salsa. I don’t prefer it. The cinnamon donut is so good toooo! Their croissant donuts are a little too sweet for my liking. Call in your order to save some time. This is their second location! Which is much closer to me and near the freeway. Service here is always friendly as well.

If you’re craving for a donut… give it a try it here If you’re craving for coffee/tea…not too shabby. If you’re craving for a sandwich… give it try it! BUTIFYOURECRAVINGFOR A BFASTBURRITO… JUSTDOIT! DOITNOW! Their bfast burritos are fully loaded. You have many options in these fill up these coddled babies. Sausage, cheese, egg, & hash brown burritos: Intense flavor but evened out with the light fluffy egg, when I say fluffy, I mean it. It’s amazing. when you bite into the burrito, you get an even bite of everything. the fluffy egg with melted cheese, and flavorful sausage and that crispy hash brown just adds that texture you’re looking for. And what tops it off is that salsa they give you!(on the side of in the burrito). The salsa gives the burrito a nice refreshing kick which ties everything together. I asked them to cut the burrito in half since I know I can’t finish the whole guy in one sitting, so I ate half for bfast, and the other half for dinner… on the way home from work, and it was cold. but let me tell you, it was just as good as it was when it came out steaming hot. Service: you can call in for the order and pick it up to work, which i do sometimes, but if you can’t get through to anyone you can just do a walk in, and it would take about 5 minutes, not too bad if you have spare time. Vietnamese coffee: Not as strong as other viet coffee’s but the flavoring is on point. Fries: HOTANDCRISPYAMAZINGNESS

I love the burritos here !! I feel bad for not writing a review sooner. The works burrito is pretty heavy but so glorious. It’s wrapped well and doesn’t fall all over the place and the salsa on the side adds nice flavor to it. I usually order to go and they never make me wait. It’s always done on time which I really appreciate. Prices are descent and service is good! Solid place with amazing burritos. The donuts look amazing too!

My friend Jen invited me over to see her and her husband’s newly constructed house in FV and once she sent me the address I had a feeling it was near Kelly’s donuts and burgers. Just my luck I was so right as it was down the street… excellent(Mr. Burn’s voice). I decided to pick them up some donuts and breakfast burrito. I came through and there was already a line forming. Once it was my turn I ordered 3 blueberry frosted glaze donuts and 3 breakfast burrito(the works) along with some freshly made oj. First off, damn that oj is definitely the business. It was so flavorful and really quenched my morning thirst. The donuts were incredibly well made. The texture and flavors were amazing and easily one of the better donuts I’ve had. The works breakfast burrito was too much for my stomach to handle but I had to get it because… Unilocal lol. I had half of it and went into full comatose mode as my friends watched me stumbled to my sleepy demise. Still I’d order all of it again. I think I digressed a bit, back to the burrito. It had eggs, bacon, ham?, cheese and of course delicious awesomeness(aka the best ingredient). The service was a bit of a mix. The girl that was at the counter was absolutely awesome. Please please please give her some raises and a christmas bonus plus a turkery and holiday ham cause damn she put in work all while having a smile on and extremely cheerful. The guy seemed a bit grumpy and was not as enthusiastic but the girl more than pulled both their weight. To be honest I was gonna give this place a 4 star but that oj and the chick’s service pulled them to a 5 star easily. PS gotdamn that oj and breakfast burrito… drools

This donut spot has it all. I have tried their ham/cheese and turkey/cheese croissants. The white cheese inside the croissant melts into the filling and tastes so GOOD! I have a sweet tooth so I have only tasted the sweet stuff here. They make super delicious strawberry custard croissants. Same kind you’ll find @ Cream Pan. Just under $ 2/piece. Make sure to pre-order before you come in so you don’t have to wait. DONUTS…need I say more… Blueberry, red velvet, classic glazed are all yummy! The donuts are soft and always on point. Get the 10 donut holes for $ 1…the ones with the sprinkles… you’ll be glad you did! On my must try list next… breakfast burrito time!

DONUTS& burgers, you wouldn’t have thought they would also have burritos?!? I heard about Kelly’s because people were saying their strawberry croissants are better than cream pan, so I had to try for myself… Why not! Strolled in on Sunday around 10:30am. It’s located in a little plaza on the corner or Heil and Bushard, pretty much every store was closed except Kelly’s, but more than half the parking lot was filled with cars and there was a like out the door. Limited seating is available in and outside. The menu is never ending, very extensive! A whole dozen of donuts was $ 7, cronuts $ 4 each, burritos started at $ 4.25, and the strawberry croissant was not as good as cream pan, but decent. Will definitely have to tell my friends and family about the breakfast burritos and also see what they think of this place since they all love cream pan! Definitely worth trying the chorizo breakfast burrito.

I decided to come back here despite my bad experience before! I must admit I. Gave this business another chance because the breakfast burritos. Their breakfast burritos are huge and affordable! You can’t beat paying 4.25 burritos, it’s so fulfilling, it is a whole meal for me !!! I would recommend to Always call in advance, if you are in a rush. There are times when it is so full and crowded! I would recommend the fresh orange juice too!!! I love that there is pulp in the orange juice that’s when you know it is legit(:
