The patio is a great place to relax and drink at after a long day at work. Their banh mi pizza is to die for!

A friend of mine highly recommend this restaurant many time … And we read on Unilocal many good review so we decide to give it a try. BIG Disappointment for the food here, it’s SUCK… We ordered trio wing — not bad but the sauce is very salty. Beef filet mignon skillet– the beef is really dry and I don’t think it’s a filet mignon at all. Cali crunch come with sweet potato fries– the fries is burn to almost black and taste very bitter from the burn. The bun said with shrimp but we found no shrimp only intimate crap with mayonnaise sauce… At least we got a nice service girl. But I’ll never come back here and not recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant is located inside the Ayres Hotel, but we thought we were in the wrong place at first, so we got out of the parking lot and went back in. They offer valet parking if you can’t find any spaces in the self-parking area. I didn’t realize that this Asian fusion tapas bar was so posh and fancy! There is an area towards the middle where a lot of people were standing around mingling with each other. We ordered all 3 different kinds of the steamed bao bun sliders(phở slider, umami, and Cali crunch) and the hamachi bites to share. The sliders came with fries, but weren’t impressive. The fries were actually better, we received an extra order with parmesan garlic and house aioli sauces for checking in. Everyone agreed that they tasted like McDonald’s fries, which is a good thing LOL. I really enjoyed the hamachi bites though– I loved all the different flavors and textures of the jalapeño and yuzu sauce incorporated together on top of the crunchy tortillas. Our server was so nice and friendly! She brought out knives for us to cut up our sliders and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and even recommended a dessert place to check out afterwards. I wouldn’t mind coming back to try the other recommended items she said that was better than what we had.

I came on a Tuesday where TACO TUESday applies. Still a bit pricey at $ 2.75 a pop and you have to order a set of two… The beef taco is reminiscent of the dry asian beef jerky flavor while the fish taco was filled to the brim with fresh ingredients. Don’t be afraid of the beet and pear salad, the yuzu dressing and cheese really goes well with the bitterness of the arugula. On previous visits, I was able to taste the charcuterie plate, a flat bread, burger, and uni pasta. While everything was delectable, the uni pasta was the star of the show. I can’t believe they’ve been out of it for months! Please bring it back! The staff this night was great. Other nights when its crowded after hours, they can be less friendly. Overall Fusion Bites is a fun little spot to hit up for drinks and small tapas style bites that’s Asian inspired. There is an outdoor fire pit to chill at with your fav beverage as well.

Went here for a friend’s birthday and I’m so happy I got to finally try this place out. This restaurant is located inside the Ayres Hotel and the best parking is in the back next to the patio. They rented out the patio for the birthday party so we had a buffet style munchies and OMG they were amazing! I got to try a range of items from their menu like the Mushroom Flatbread, Duck Flatbread, Banh Mi Flatbread, Salmon tartare, quesadilla, wings, and fries galore. The Salmon Tartare was not only beautiful to look at but also devour. I have to mention that the sauces they also have are amazing! My boyfriend is a «sauce boss» and he was in heaven! Also, the combination of the Fish Sauce and the wings is a wonderful combination of flavors created by an amazing chef. My taste buds thank you and my stomach does as well! I’m so happy I had a chance to finally try this place out and I look forward to my next visit! The Banh Mi sliders are on my list!

Hotel food generally isn’t known as a foodie destination, but I disgree as Fushion Bites’ offering are unique and tasty. Located inside the Ayres Hotel, Fushion Bites is an intimate and trendy location to sample some dynamic fushion appetizers. On my recent visit I tried their popular phở sliders and was quite amazed an how much a mini burger could replicate a phở experience. I was quite impressed and would definitely recommend getting that there. I also tried their green curry mussels and throughly enjoyed those as well. The price range is pretty moderate and for the opportunity to sample different cuisines under one room it’s definitely a good contender for picky eaters.

This place has decent fusion food. Kind of a weird place since it’s inside the Ayres Hotel. The restaurant itself didn’t have a lot of people and doesn’t have much of an ambiance but I was excited to try a lot of their interesting menu. There are so many items to choose from!!! It’s a little hard to focus on the menu when the music is bumping so loud though. Phở Sliders — I love Phở everything! Actual Phở, phở tacos, phở sliders, you name it! The meat in the sliders are VERY tender and is just perfect. I felt it lacked a little of the phở flavor and could’ve used maybe more hoison and siracha to kick it up a notch. The mayo dressing on it drowned out the phở flavors a bit as well as the crunchy bits I didn’t care for. It adds texture but the sliders didn’t really need it. Bean Sprouts probably would’ve been a better alternative. Uni Pasta — Looked amazing! Pasta is cooked al dente and had a very creamy uni sauce. A little on the bland side as well which seemed the trend on all their dishes today. Hamachi Bites — These are good as well. Well balanced and very light appetizer. The fish was fresh but I had to gobble these up quickly since I was sitting in the sun. The only dislike I had on this dish was the tortilla cracker at the bottom. It was soft and stale. I only ate the top goodies. Salmon tartare tacos — One of my favorites! Fresh salmon and everything was delicious. Vanilla Vietnamese Coffee– Very light for Vietnamese coffee. The vanilla bean is an interesting touch. May return one day to try the other items but none of the food items really jumped out at me. I was alittle dissapointed since I had heard such great things but the food was still decent. I would give it a shot. Could’ve just be that day I was there.

Nestled inside the Ayres hotel, this restaurant surprisingly churns out some quality food items. –Décor/ambiance: This is definitely a hotel restaurant. I guess I glazed over that fact so when we walked in and saw it was literally across from Check In, I was a little bit surprised. The restaurant itself looks dated and you can look into the lobby. I don’t think this is a place you’d bring a first date, but a nice casual get together, this place works. +Service: Nice waitress, she kept checking on us. +Parking: Plentiful since it’s a hotel Food: Fusion Asian food. It was inspired and a little bit different from the norm. They also have a nice expansive happy hour menu which is a plus. +Phở Slider: This is the main picture you see when you click on this place on Unilocal. It’s phở meat between a bao(sweet white roll). Surprisingly it tasted exactly how it sounds and it was quite good. +Brussel Sprouts: Very good. The brussel sprouts are cut up so that the leaves are separated and each is packed with flavor. It had a nice salty and sweet taste. –Pâté Board: I’m just not a huge pâté person. It was a little bit on the gamey side for me. I wouldn’t order it again. We had a ton leftover if that tells you anything. –Cheese Board: This was okay. I’ve had better cheese boards and better accoutrements. It’s a little bit on the pricey end and nothing really unique or special +Cocktails: They had a nice selection of interesting cocktails which is always a win in my books. +Making me Blush: I like vodka cocktails and this was interesting with the berries and grapes. Also looks so pretty in the glass(you know us girls like that) +The Queen Bee: This was also another vodka cocktail and tasty, more on the sour side and less sweet then the first.

I came here during happy hour with some coworkers, and it definitely hit the spot. +Food: — Phở Sliders: Tastes exactly like phở between two bao buns. Different, but good. — Brussels Sprouts: Flavored with Thai vinaigrette. A bit too salty for my taste, but good in small portions. — Liver pâté plate(not on Happy hour menu): Served with Liver pâté, Garlic, and Fig. The liver was a bit gamey, but still good. — Cheese Board: Really good. I like how soft the bread was, and it paired well with the pâté plate. Included brie and parmesan. +Drinks: — Making me Blush: Vodka with muddle grapes and blueberries. Very sweet, Go to if you don’t want anything too strong. — The Queen Bee: Vodka, basil seeds, and lychee. Sour, but refreshing. — The Green Mile: This one has tequila, some basil/mint, and white pepper for a kick. +Ambiance: Very casual, and laidback. Perfect place to go with friends to unwind after work. — Price: A little on the expensive side, but the plates are sharable anyways. Tip: This is located in the Ayres Hotel. Parking is free.

Oh my goodness. The food here is so tasty. It was very unexpected. Considering this is a hotel, off the beaten path, I was expecting to have … Well … Hotel food. What a pleasant surprise. The drink menu has some interesting concoctions. The green mile is a martini with tequila and it packs a cool punch. It’s Smooth, slightly sweet and peppery. So good. The food is a fusion of new American and Asian cuisines. They blend so well and are super yummy. All the food we ordered was delicious. I can’t even pick a favorite because I loved it all. The Mac and cheese bites with the Chinese sausage was creamy and crunchy. The phở slider was like having a bowl of phở wrapped in a steam bun. How is that possible? Oh so good. The Peking duck tart was lightly salty with a crunchy and flaky crust. Lastly, the filet mignon yakitori. It had the perfect char, medium in the middle. the sauce on the side had so much flavor. I don’t even know what it was. All of it so good. This place is offering some amazing food and is definitely worth a stop!

Got: Phở Sliders As someone who eats phở often, I was not too impressed. It looked better than it tasted. The crunchy noodles that came with the slider were stale which was most disappointing. I was also expecting a nice, moist bun to bite into but unfortunately I bit into a stale, chewy bun. The beef seasoning had the smell of phở but that’s really all that the slider had going for it. I did get takeout though using the Eat 24 Unilocal application which was very convenient. They did have the order done by the time that I had arrived. Overall though I was unimpressed– perhaps it got stale over the five minute drive? I doubt it though. I was however pleasantly surprised that the sliders came with fries. I actually enjoyed the fries more than the sliders which isn’t really saying much because I always enjoy potatoes… in all forms especially friesssss. If it weren’t stale, I’d probably give it a three. I really do want to give this place more stars but I really feel like this experience hinders me from wanting to come back hence the lower rating. :/

Yummmm!!! Hidden gem indeed! The worst part about this restaurant was only that I was expecting it to be busier(since I made a reservation lol), but it’s just a small little restaurant inside the Ayres hotel. Can’t miss it, their sign is right when you enter the hotel. Food was so good! I’ll list them: Brussels sprouts: crispy, juicy, flavorful Fries: hard to mess it up, and it’s free when you check in! Liver pâté: yum!!! Put some pâté with garlic on a slice of bread, it’s so good! Mac and cheese bites: could’ve done without the Chinese sausage, other than that, crispy, gooey, cheesy Mussels: yummmm, curry sauce is so good, mussels cooked well Uni linguine: nice dish, can mildly taste the uni Phở sliders: tastes juuuuust like phở! Try it!!! Panna cotta: very light, it was the perfect dessert to end the night with We were very happy with our experience here, and were STUFFED! Food was great, service was good. Would cone back for sure!

We had the PHO Sliders, Peking duck tart, Banh Mi flat bread pizza and apple dumplings with vanilla ice cream for dinner. All our food choices were good just the portions are small so if you’re not too hungry this is a good place to have a light dinner. As for dessert I would have prefer to try some other dessert when apple dumplings are too simple in taste and I would have prefer something with chocolate that night. I don’t usually eat a lot of Asian fusion food when I think I may not like it unless there are other foodie friends with me I’ll try something new. The restaurant is located inside the Ayres Hotel with free parking. Be sure to take advantage of their happy hour prices for drinks, appetizers even a few popular items on the menu. Food can get pricey eating here if you’re really hungry. This is a good place if you’re just having drinks and want some small bites with friends.

So far, the Ayres Hotel has given me quite a good impression on the restaurants they house. It just sucks that hotel restaurants don’t seem to attract many customers, whether it’s because people don’t know about the restaurants or because there is a stigma that comes with being a hotel restaurant, that resraurant food in hotels are usually mediocre. Parking is easy and right outside the hotel. The restaurant is located straight through the lobby to the back. There is intimate seating inside as well as an outdoor patio. There is an in-the-wall TV and remote control at each booth for your pleasure. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She constantly refilled our waters without being asked. We ordered the phở sliders, salmon tartare tacos, uni pasta, and braised kalbi quesadilla. The phở sliders usually come with 2, but since we were a party of 3, the waitress kindly gave us an extra one. How awesome is that? We really enjoyed the sliders. It definitely tasted like phở, but in a bun instead of a bowl. It was full of flavors and the meat was so good. The salmon tartare tacos were also good. The salmon was fresh and the sauce had a spicy kick to it and was wrapped in a wonton chip. We thought the uni pasta was okay. The uni is in the sauce, which is already mixed into the noodles. We couldn’t taste the uni upon chewing the pasta, but there was an aftertaste, which was very subtle. The quesadilla was the least enjoyed dish of the night. We would pass on that next time. It lacked flavor and tasted very plain, aside from the braised meat. We checked in for free fries, which was cool! Overall, it was a good dining experience. I’d like to come back to try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service!

(Review based on 3.5 stars) Fusion Bites is located in the Ayres Hotel(parking is free). As soon as you enter through the main entrance, it will be straight ahead. My husband and I decided to grab a bite to eat here this past Saturday afternoon around 12 pm. It was empty. When we walked in, we were acknowledged by an employee and seated at a booth with a TV(however, it does not work). After looking over the menu, we decided to get: 16 Hour Pork Belly, $ 12 prior to tax– This entrée comes with two pork belly sliders and a side of garlic fries. Surprisingly this dish actually filled my husband up. The pork belly was really tender. The hoisin sauce, green apple slices, cucumber slices and lettuce also added a nice flavor and crunch to these sliders. We both thought the fries were a little on the salty side though and didn’t really taste much garlic. Sea Urchin Pasta, $ 12.75 prior to tax– Although this dish appears to be small, it was actually a great portion for me and made me feel full after, but it was probably because of all the oil used in this entrée. I really would have loved some protein in this dish though. But anyways, I liked the flavor of the uni– cheesy pasta. At the bottom of the plate was a pool of oil which made me not finish the last few bites. I wished this oil was drained prior to serving. I would not order this dish again. Free fries with Unilocal check in by the way. — — — — — — — — - (Total= $ 26.73 after tax, prior to tip) Service was okay for the most part. Our water glasses were refilled once during our visit. Our server was nice at making recommendations since this was our first time coming here. She also was so nice at providing the hotel WiFi access code for us(5170). I had asked her what the password was when I saw Fusion Bites on my WiFi network, but she said she doesn’t know it and then came back with the hotel’s access code. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our lunch for the most part, but I was just a bit disappointed with my uni pasta(0.5 star deduct for that). I would consider coming back here again in the future.

A little underwhelmed by our first experience here. My friend and I had been excited to try this place out only to find it was nothing special… We arrived around 12:15PM for lunch. We thought it would be a little busier but we were the only ones in the restaurant. Décor was nice and sleek since it being newly built but that was about it. We ordered the appetizer sampler plate which comes with macaroni bites, egg roll fries, brussel sprouts, and some rice masubi thing. We both agreed that we liked the macaroni bites and the egg roll fries were interesting but everything else was just meh. I love brussel sprouts but the way this had been made was really salty. Next we had some phở sliders. My first time trying phở sliders. Tasted just like eating a bowl of phở! The flavors worked well together with a lot going on. The bun was really soft which I really liked too. Give it a try if you haven’t. Lastly, we got uni pasta. My friend and I did not like this at all. The uni did not taste fresh and had a weird fishy aftertaste which was not pleasant. We both took a couple of bites and that was it. Really big waste of money. We had room for dessert but just decided to skip it completely since everything so far did not wow us. It’s worth giving a try for the first time since it might be for you but we probably wouldn’t return.

Located in the Ayres Hotel, Fusion Bites looks like a converted continental breakfast dining room. A bit of a surprise that the atmosphere didn’t receive more attention. We were seated in a booth with our own little TV though, and you can’t beat that kind of comfort. We started with the House-made Liver Pâté which was excellent. Duck fat and chicken liver, fig jam, roasted garlic– all harmoniously complementary to one another. They brought us out more bread too. The Hamachi Bites were adorable little soft tacos with yellowtail and roe. Unusual how they used a soft texture as a base, but I liked it. The sauce needed more attention though; drizzled mayo seems like a cop-out for an otherwise fancy bite. Service was attentive. We were asked how we were doing and how we liked the food. The server was not defensive when I honestly commented on the duck tart being too sweet. The duck tart had well-cooked shredded duck but was overwhelmed by the sweet hoisin sauce spread liberally on the puffed pastry. Fusion Bites has a core of working concepts but needs some polishing. More complexes sauces? More balanced flavors? An ambiance makeover? It wouldn’t take much to push this place from good to impressive, if they find it worthwhile to do so.

This is like a 2.5. The interior of the restaurant looks like a regular hotel dining area. Nothing special. Their presentation and plating is very nice. Uni pasta: not bad but not that good either. Hamachi bites: could’ve been better. Instead of using a tortilla which I found to be too hard and kind of killed the texture of the entire dish, they should use Bellini instead. Mussels: not bad but not that great either. I can taste a hint of coconut in the curry sauce. Pâté: duck fat and chicken liver pâté, fig and garlic confit. Actually my favorite thing out of everything. Smores dessert: don’t even bother. Also got a cocktail which is a standard $ 10, not bad but I wouldn’t come here for a drink. Everything came out to $ 73 plus tip. To be honest I only came here bc Mesa was closed.
