This place is greatn for both large and small groups. Their song selection is decent though a bit hard to navigate. There are drinks avaliable to buy and a lot of deals you caneed redeem. One of the issues is the seating arrangement is a bit cramped even though it is supposed to be considered the«larger room».

This place is great for large groups of friends! Or even small groups work. They have a nice deal where you can buy a drink for an additional hour on weekdays before 7 pm. There’s a lobby area, charts for new songs at the front desk, and they aregenerally very chill. They take up to 2 cards per bill, and each room has it’s own separate bills.

My friends and I had a lot of fun singing karaōke here last tonight! However, I feel like putting songs in and using the remote thing isn’t as easy or efficient as it could be. To put songs in, we have to look up the song and then input its number through the remote. Although it sounds pretty straightforward, the binders of songs, artists, and song numbers are not in perfect order and the remote is hard to press/takes some skill to use. This meant that we spent the first 5 – 10 minutes of our time solely trying to put song numbers into our singing program. In addition, the TV takes time registering commands from the remote and glitches happen occasionally. Fortunately, only one glitch is bad enough to mention: we tried to skip a song and the screen had lyrics from two places(songs?) overlapping and ended up having to delete/skip that song off our song program. This problems aside, it was truly a fun experience to karaōke here with friends! I highly recommend it!

Came here tonight for a friend’s birthday. We had a party of 10 and we fit perfectly In the Johnny cash room. The systems and songs worked well and it was extremely fun! This place is a hidden gem in orange county. You can bring your own beverages(alcohol) for 3 bucks a person. We stayed for 3 hours and could of stayed longer ! Definitely come check this place out for a night of fun with friends.

This place is awesome! My favorite place to go and do karaōke with friends. Prices are relatively reasonably to other places and the staff is great. There are private rooms where you can dim lights and sing your heart out. Goof off and dance around too if you’re into that. Definitely come check this place out!

I haven’t had any major issues here! You can bring your own booze! What is there not to like about that?! BUT, the song list could be updated, other than that, it’s cool, fun, and I always have an awesome time!

Haha! I had the best night of my life here last night! I’m not a connoisseur of all things karaōke, so I don’t know the difference from one place to the next, but this place is awesome. We had 6 people, for 2 hours it was $ 80. You have to BYOB because they don’t serve alcohol, but you just pay a flat rate of $ 3 per person and you can bring in whatever you want(!!!) We sang our hearts out for two hours, and then we heard the tap at the door that our time was up. We decided to do one more hour because it is just THAT fun!

love this place! Been here twice most recently was for my 40th birthday we had a blast. This is my best friend and I’s favorite thing to do and were so excited to find this place. Only thing I would say that is negative is that the rooms tend to be a little hot. But other than that it was amazing!

I came here on a Saturday night and driving into the plaza made me cringe already. I came inside and it looked so gross. Walked into the room and I immediately thought, «This is it??» I sat down with my friends(11 people in the room) and boy was it crowded, and might I add, HOT! There was a dinky little fan to the corner as well. They had lots of folders with different genres of music. Okay, pretty impressive that they have a huge variety of song selection but I feel that the place itself just makes me not want to sing my heart out. While listening to some of the songs, we all found some songs that had the WRONG lyrics!!! Sometimes, the beat would be off too which was very confusing. Turning through the books, some of them were super sticky and smelled like beer. Overall, this place is disgusting and I would probably never ever come back. If I want to listen to recent music and sing my heart out, I will just download it and sing at the top of my lungs in my car with my friends. I suggest going to Ziller Karaōke Bar( ) in Fullerton. Way nicer and better!!!

Been coming here for several years only because it has the best English selection in OC. Dong Dong Dang, 3 to 5& Plush all have the EXACTSAME English Song List and it’s much smaller than here at Elvis. I would always go to Max in Torrance, but the husband likes the sound in the room here better. Plus it’s closer to where we live. It’s pricey. And if you come during happy hour they make you buy 1 drink per person(juice & water). No alcohol allowed and the Owner is sneaky and will try to bust you bringing in your own food and drinks — alcohol or non. I guess they didn’t get the memo that karaōke is a drinking game. THe rooms are a little small as well. Not computerized — they still use books. My biggest complaint it that they have like, five different books to look through. No master book of every song. If you’re looking for a song, you often have to check 3 different books to(hopefully) find it. They have a few computers set up where you can search through a spreadsheet for songs, but it’s 1990’s technology! You have to leave your room to search it and I’m not sure how complete that list even is. Really, the ONLY reason I keep coming back is because they DO have a good English song collection. Assuming you have enough time to find whatever you’re looking for.

This place provides group entertainment at a reasonable price. They even have percussion instruments you can use with your songs. I recommend you check this place out.

not sure what the negative reviews are about for the customer service. Our group was treated kindly and even given extra time at the end beyond what we paid.

Interesting name for an interesting place! I was first introduced to this place by a group of friends, it was the first karaōke business I had been to and has since been a measure which others have yet to love up to. It’s a great place to bring groups or an intimate date for two. No waiting for your turn like karaōke bars and the costs are fairly affordable. The downsides: The selections are a bit sparse, the microphone aren’t the best quality, and the lighting is dark, but as I said earlier, it’s still the best I have seen so far. Little tidbit I learned, apparently this was the first business of it’s like in Orange County. Not sure of the accuracy of that, but if true, it’s a piece of history is recommend visiting.

I really don’t know how this tired(needs to retire) old man continues to do business in a pathetic way to gouge you left and right and charge extra if you want an additional language to sing or for water, even if you bring your own there is a $ 3 fee. This a$$$$$$ had the audacity to follow my friends and I into the private room because he could sense that I did in fact bring water bottles in my tote bag. So what if I did old man?! He indeed catches me… and says, «Hey, if you did bring water, just tell me. It’s okay. $ 3 per person.» My answer? «No, I’ll just take a refund.» Old man: «Sure.» If he decided to be difficult about it, I would’ve busted a cap in his arse, but since he was cordial, I figured I would do the same. Soon after, my friends and I went on our merry way to Ding Dong Dang in Garden Grove where they GIVE you FREE water when you check in!!! #crosspromotion

This place sucks. The owner is extremely rude and inflexible. He was going to charge us for bringing water and kept yelling at us. The karaōke system sucks and the song selection is completely outdated. Don’t waste your time here. Try plush or one of the other ones.

Very poor customer service. Asked the owner where the bathrooms were, received a snarky remark. Then he followed us to our karaōke room and asked us if we had water bottles and if so to just tell him and give him $ 3 per person! RIDICULOUS. He just wants to take your $$$$$ any way possible. If u look at him wrong he’ll charge you $. What a crook! Take my advice and save money and attitude by going to Ding dong dang. At ding dong dang it’s $ 20 an hour plus they give u FREE water whereas Elvis it’s $ 30 an hour and u get charged extra for another language and for bringing in your own water.

TL;DR: Was excited to try a new karaōke place, reserved room, owner called me and cancelled reservation the night before my birthday party w/horrible customer service. Such a horrible experience. Unfortunately I never got to GOTO Elvis, so this review does not encompass any of the karaōke relevant review points like sound quality and song selection. Tired of the same old song selection at Plush, I researched karaōke room businesses in the area and found out about Elvis. I was sold after reading Unilocal reviews promising an extensive English song selection, the ability to BYOB for a fee, and a hilariously named karaōke business that didn’t take itself too seriously by including punctuation in their name. I called Elvis and explained that I had a rather large party of twenty people and inquired about making a reservation. The employee informed me that their largest room accommodates 15 people, but that a max of 20 could squeeze inside. Willing to accept the cramped circumstances for a wider selection of music, I asked to make a reservation. FIRSTPROBLEM: ELVISWILLNOTTAKERESERVATIONSOVERTHEPHONE. I’m sorry, are we living in another time period? Begrudgingly, I agreed to pop in and drop off money to reserve my room. I ended up calling back two more times to verify the reservation setup and rules for the room. During these phone calls I repeated the fact that we had a max of 20 people coming and that we would all be paying the extra fee to bring in alcohol, and every conversation the head count was acknowledged by the employee. Today I went in to make my reservation and pay for the room. The employee was friendly and helpful, and I clearly laid out my intentions for the room. I even asked him to show me the space since I was concerned about 20 people fitting comfortably, but he assured me it wouldn’t be an issue as long as we didn’t mind lap sitting. I paid for the room and completed my reservation. At 8pm tonight I received a phone call from the owner telling me that their largest room would not be able to accommodate a group of 20. When I explained to him that I had confirmed this fact no less than 4 times(3 phone calls and 1 in person) he told me that that never happened and that none of his employees would have made the OK for that large of a group. After airing my displeasure and asking him for a compromise of comping a separate room or refunding my money, he either hung up on me or was disconnected. I really hope he was disconnected… Frustrated at the lack of communication, failure to provide me considerable notice prior to my reservation time, and horrendously bad customer service(mind you if he was disconnected he DIDNOT call me back after, and we were mid conversation), I immediately called Plush and booked their VIP room with no issue(OVERTHEPHONE). I then called Elvis back and demanded my refund. He took my credit card info and did not acknowledge or apologize for the situation. I understand that employees can make mistakes and that no business is perfect, however the absolute refusal to take responsibility for the mistake is unacceptable. I really was looking forward to giving Elvis my business, but I’ll settle for Plush’s limited English selection for better service and I suggest everyone else do the same. Thanks for a GREAT birthday gift Elvis.

Came through for a friend’s birthday this past weekend and all I remember is that it was a good time. Thankfully, I didn’t lose my voice… eep! We managed to fit about 15 people in ONE room, the first room on the right. I believe we asked for the largest room to accommodate all of us, but I think that room was really meant for 10 people to sit comfortably. Somehow, we all fit and got the party started. I think it’s really awesome that you can BYOB. They will check everyone’s ID beforehand to make sure everyone is of age. If needed, they also have cups and a wine opener available. So nice! I actually gave them an extra star because of the guy at the front, which I believe is the owner. He was such a funny guy and informed us that he will charge $ 10 if you’re singing is really bad hahah. Not sure if that’s a real rule, but that would be funny!

NE side of Brookhurst and Garfield I went to this place again(I don’t think I was Unilocaling the last time I went) and we all had a blast. There was a total of 4 of us so the total for the room rental was $ 30 total per hour. There are about 6 private studios decked out with couches, chairs, a small stage, old school TV, and a Karaōke Machine with two Microphones. You’ll be given at least 5 or so books filled with songs to sing your heart out. Their prices depend on the amount of people in your group. More people… higher price for room rental. We had a bottle of alcohol so the corkage fee is $ 3 per person as I write this. They have drinks and snacks and pricing is pretty normal as opposed to being inflated. The place is kept immaculate and the owner/operator is really nice, informative, and helpful. This place definitely is a great option to have a great time with your friends where you can let your inhibitions go and sing your heart out and possibly get a little buzzed in the process somewhere that won’t kill your wallet!
