If I could, I would give this restaurant «0» stars!!! Today, 10 minutes ago, I went to this location for the 5^th time and like always they tell me they have no ice cream left to make any shakes?! This seems fishy! Either the workers are freaking lazy as hell and don’t want to make my shake or clean the blender or the management there does not keep up with daily stocking procedures!!! Bottom line, this Carl’s Jr. is the worst! I’ve lived in Fountain Valley/​GG for over 8 years and let me tell you, they have finally lost a customer that has been coming here since!!! Goodbye poor management!!!

I honestly would give this place no stars. When I was in the female restrooms the co worker that was working there apparently left feces on the floor. Also they overcharged me for food and got the order completely! I also found mold on the fries. When I finally got the correct order and the right food for the 3^rd time. The meat is cold and bloody and the bun tastes like rotten eggs. At that time I just wanted my money back but I have a severe eating disorder where if I don’t eat right away at a certain time I would pass out. This all happened in 1 day today. Im disgusted i will call the Orange County food and health code just to make sure this place needs new workers, new chefs. It used to be fine until the owner of this franchised business doesn’t want to follow corporate rules. I will make sure I file another lawsuit if I do get food poisoning tonight.

Came in on my lunch break. Location was pretty legit as far as parking (lots of space). This particular Carl’s was a bit busy bit I got my order fast, correct and hot fairly quickly. Manager was chill, and happy to offer to bring me anything else I needed. I would most definitely come back to this location. Two thumbs up to this Carls. Btw, bathrooms are clean and not coin operated like alot of other places.

Went back. Different crew but everything went well. The food was hot and fresh. The order was correct and wet didn’t get any grief about using 2 coupons.
For fast food that is what I expect, so 5 stars.
They must be reading the feedback because things so far have been much better there.

This is the worst Carl’s Jr I have ever been too. They workers just stand around talking and then when I am trying to order they wouldn’t let me finish they kept interrupting and saying anything else like five times. My food was cold. The play area smells horrible and looks like no one ever cleans it. I don’t even think they deserve one star. Never going to this place again.

Best carls ever to eat at honestly, all the other ones are not close to become this good as this one, i come here and i get to spend less because there always helping me on getting something cheap and it always gets me full.

My «sweet potato fries» is very dry, old looking and have a lot of salt. Which doesn’t make it sweet anymore, all I taste is the saltiness. I don’t even wanna to go into detail for the burger or drink anymore.

I couldn’t believe they charge $ 1 for ATM transaction. The place is clean the crew is a bit rude to the customer. Will never go back to this place again. Rip-​off!

The workers speak perfect English AND they seem perfectly bright… which is surprising to find in Orange County. The manager gave me a big burger due to a miscommunication, and she also gave me another when they accidentally made mine wrong.
Definitely my favorite Carls on EARTH (drive thru experience only).
Update: still my fav, but they often screw things up. Check your food before you leave for good. Depends on the hours you go. If you get served by someone over 30, then you don’t have much to worry about. If they screw something up they will remake or give you something for free.
All-​natural burgers are often a little cold.
Also, the new iced coffee has milk in it, which they don’t make clear.

I’d write a review on the food, but never had the opportunity to place an order because the entire time I was in the lobby, the employees barely gave me any attention. I could overhear them chatting and socializing in the background. Customer service in a dining establishment in my opinion is JUST AS IMPORTANT as the food itself. Especially when you’re in the fast food industry — where your customer has quite a few choices to choose in addition to your restaurant.
I should’ve taken a hint when I was walking in and noted that even at 8pm at night-​time, the drive-​thru was empty and the parking lot was practically empty. The dining room was empty. Those should have been warning signs. Most Carl’s Jrs I’ve been through tend to be bustling. Not this one.
When I tried hollering for help to take my order — I heard even louder laughing in the background. Not one person ever walked up to the register to take my order. Needless to say I walked out and headed over to Del Taco which was about a block over.
Your loss Carl’s Jr. I’m sure if I did manage to eat something or was treated differently, you’d have a much nicer review to help the already crappy rating this location has, but the reviews speak for themselves. The customer service training and night crew at this location need a overhaul and retraining. But that’s up to you Corporate. Tons of other choices within a one-​mile radius of this location.

I always grab a spicy chicken sandwich with either a white or american cheese, this time I was disappointed! The service was good despite the lunch rush hour, but apparently they gave us a duplicate order number and some random woman grabbed our order and left out the door. The employee came back and my sandwich was definitely over fried and the inside had some weird red remnants of a fake chicken part in it. I was digusted, I didnt even eat it. I usually love Carl’s Jr Spicy Chickens but this one was just gross. Next time I expect better but what can I get for a buck fifty? I have learned my lesson!

Ok so haven’t been to Carls Jr in awhile. I ordered the Sante Fe chicken combo. I guess my first clue should’ve been when the order was ready right away when I pulled up to the window since there was no wait in the drive thru. So of course as I expected the chicken tasted rubbery gross! I’m spending $ 9.00 for fast food I expect better for this. What a waste… Yuck!!!

I want to write a review on Carl’s… it is what it is. Not bad, not amazing, but just right. This particular Carl’s was nice. They even were able to provide us with a good salted carmel milk shake. Keep that star shining bright little Carl’s Junior! Keep those famous stars grilling with pride!

Was pretty sad when I rolled up and expected to get my french toast sticks this morning… Instead I was left to get their muffins and biscuits to say the least I have not been to Carl’s Jr for breakfast in a very long time and will probably not be back since they do not have my french toast sticks no longer…

So today i order the Texas bbq ½ burger combo and the meal comes out to $ 11 bucks. I ordered to go and i get back to the office and my burger is a single western. Im like god damn it. So ill call them to complain and the gal Debra apologized and said they give me a free meal on my next visit. I remember why i never goto Carls or Del Taco because they always seem to mess up my order. Im mean this shit ain’t rocket science

I ordered The Big Chicken Fillet Sandwich for $ 3.99
The Chicken was tender and delicious.
The Bun was premium.
A surprisingly delicious Meal from this Drive Thru.

The place smells of frying oil, service was okay. The food was just below average. I don’t think I’d come here again.

Typical Carl’s Jr., they got my order incorrect but not a big deal. Ordered 2 famous stars for $ 4 but they gave me 1 famous and 1 western bacon. Location was clean and service was a bit slow no big deal unless you very hungry.

It’s a clean restaurant with lots of parking. There is a kids play area.

Service and food is as expected by any Carls Jr Unilocaler.
One of the few locations (at time of writing this) still offering spicy chicken for $ 1.00 many locations been upping the price by $ 0.10 to $ 0.45 is seams.
Overall clean and acceptable.
One odd thing… the hand soap in the mens restroom made my hands smell like baby wipes. that was a new one.
