Burritos and enchiladas are so good! The employees all the way to the cooks are friendly! The whole place is always clean! The salsa bar is stocked with fresh salsas and chillies!

Came here for lunch and I got the street tacos 2 asada 1 chicken. The asada was spot on really nice and tender the chicken was ok. The tortillas they use for the street tacos are really good nice and soft tortillas. I definitely recommend the street asada tacos and u also get free chips while you wait.

I was really impressed with this place, I am not from the area so while visiting someone in the nearby hospital I decided to stop by and to my surprise this place was really good. I had the birria plate with rice and beans and it was very authentic full of fabulous flavors. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Americanized Mexican joint located on Newhope St. adjacent to Costco. What do you expect it’s FV?! Not exactly the mecca of authentic Mexican cuisine. I still think the food is delish. I have tried the steak tostada salad. I wouldn’t say this entrée is healthy. Super yummy none the less. It comes in a tostada bowl filled with your choice of: veggies only, chicken, carnitas, steak, shrimp or salmon. Filled with romaine lettuce, pinto beans, cheese, pineapple, guac, pico de gallo & sour cream. My go to entrée everytime. They have a Taco Tuesday deal-$ 1 for street tacos. I have lunch here a few times a month when I crave something other than Chipotle. The chicken enchiladas are very good. Always on point with the tender shredded meat with red sauce. Topped with sour cream. Mucho gusto! Hope that means I like very much.

Horrible service! Walking in, no one said«Hi» or «I’ll be right with you» the cashier lady was rude and just stood there with a blank look on her face. We didn’t feel invited, they were not busy, so I have no idea what their problem was.

This spot is kind of hidden, but I’m glad I found it. The place is clean, service is pretty great, and the food is delicious. I usually come in for the shrimp and carnitas tacos, and for the most part, I’ve got no gripes. They also serve beer, so that’s a plus. Aesthetic appeal of the food is pretty good too. Not that I expect my tacos to be photo shoot ready, but it is nice to see they’re typically carefully put together and not just thrown on a plate. Definitely recommend this spot.

This is my favorite restaurant to eat Mexican Food. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their menu has a variety of plates to choose from and a salsa bar. They serve big portions for a good price. In addition, the service is good, the staff is friendly and helpful and the place is always clean.

Road trippin’ and hungry. Once year I make the trek to the Central Valley of California to see what life was like for my soon-to-be-wife before she moved to San Diego and then finally to Vegas with me. This trip isn’t as treacherous as the Oregon trail, but the food options are pretty much the same; salted meats and whatever is easy to catch with my bare hands without stopping the wagon… or my SUV. Cancun Fresh popped as an easy and fast place to grub so we stopped off and I went with the Shrimp Burrito with roasted Veggies. Not going to lie this was actually pretty good; huge chunks of shrimp in every bite and the veggies were crisp and the not cooked beyond recognition. The house salsas were spicy, but a tad runny which made it impossible to drive and add salsa, especially in L.A. traffic. Sadly this was not a quick option, our food took about 15 minutes, which is lifetime for«fast food» especially while in a hurry to get back on schedule. Stick with Baja Fresh, for the faster of the fast food«Fresh» spots.

It’s not fancy, but damn is the food satisfying, authentic, and a perfect work lunch. They restaurant is clean and casual with tons of foot traffic. Everything is made fresh so you may have you wait and few minutes… worth the wait. Staff us courteous and accommodating.

Fish tacos with rice, beans, and chips, not that bad but nothing special. Their salsa bar is decent, this place reminds me of a chain restaurant, Rubios or Baja Fresh or something.

I am never disappointed with the food here. The food is cooked to order, restaurant is always clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. Today I’m eating the 2 enchiladas plate as recommended by the lady helping me. They are both SOGOOD. One day I’ll remember that I prefer cheese enchiladas over almost any other-BEFORE I ORDER. Plate comes with rice and beans, and a little salad. PERFECTSIZEPORTION too They will ask if you’d like chips, and there’s a salsa bar. I am full and happy, cuz I’m not over-stuffed.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Good Mexican food and fast, friendly service. Generous portions at reasonable prices. 99cent tacos on Tuesdays and they serve beer, too.

I used to come here to eat sometimes on my lunch break until it got really busy at lunch. I would get the carnitas or cheese enchiladas with rice and beans my favorites, It took 20 – 30 mins just to get my to go order when there are only 2 cooks and a small staff of people to serve your food or ring up your order. Service to getting your to go orders or food sent to your table can be slow at times. I don’t recommend coming here during lunch hour if you only have 1 hour for lunch. There is a long line and no place to dine in during the lunch rush hour unless you come earlier to have brunch. Good size lunch potions for light meals so you don’t get food coma during work hours. Prices are cheap. Take advantage of the taco specials on Tuesdays its $ 0.99 per taco or around $ 4 for 4 tacos. This place is more of a fast food place. The food is authentic Mexican and delicious for the good prices. They keep the different types of salsa and limes fresh. There may be limited parking sometimes so carpool is recommended or else park across the street where Costco is then walk across the street. Restaurants is kept clean for being so busy during the week.

This is probably the best Mexican food in the city of Fountain Valley. They have great tortas, tacos, and burritos. My favorite are the chicken tacos and the cheese enchiladas. It is located in an Industrial complex and business office area of Fountain Valley, so it gets packed during lunch time. I was surprised by how low the prices are for such good quality of food. In the chicken tacos they only use white meat chicken breast, and large buttery corn tortillas for their tacos. They use fresh ingredients and with every order you get complimentary tortilla chips. There is a salsa bar to get 3 or 4 different types of Salsa, and it goes great with the complimentary tortilla chips they give you. Cancun also has clean bathrooms for both men and women. My only gripe is that since its super popular, the line can get a bit long. However, for the great quality of food and low prices, its easy to see why this is one of the most popular spots in FV! I recommend you come here for a great cheap meal! It will fill you up and it won’t break your wallet! One of the better places to get a business lunch in the city of Fountain Valley!

I was around the area looking for a place to grab a bite, so i found this place and decided to try it. I ordered 2 taco combo, 1 carne asada and the second one shrimp, the tacos were very good, the carne carne asada had onion and cilantro and i added lime and hot salsa, the shrimp had Pico de gallo and the shrimp was cut in bite size pieces which was nice, this soft tacos are really big and really good, it came with a side of beans and rice. Beans were really good but the rice was bland and not very tasty. The salsas were good but a bit watery. Service was good and the place was a bit busy. I need to come back and try other stuff.

I was recommended to this authentic Mexican joint by our UPS freight driver who is Hispanic and he claimed that Cancun Fresh has legit flavor straight from Mexico. I did a little research on this place via their website and of course everything looks delicious. My friend said the Wet Burrito is the bomb so I click on Wet Burrito and their web page and there is a little Caution sign at the bottom that says ” This is not ordinary Mexican food. This is Authentic blah blah blah. They are basically say they have great food and if you want crap go somewhere else.” Which makes me laugh as you read below. I said okay ill give it a try but I have a very high standard for Mexican food and I expect quality over quantity. Now I know that this is a fast casual place like Chipolte and I can’t expect too much but unfortunately the experience I had with this place was rather off putting and I would much rather go to Chipolte because the meal i get from their is actually hot and tastes good. Here are some of the reason why i got a sour taste for this place. One day I walked in around noon time and the place was fairly busy. I walked up the the register to place my order but since I had never been there I asked the Cashier for a recommendation and she couldn’t give me one I said okay. I will try the Wet Burrito and they have 2 different styles I ordered the Cancun Style. I mentioned the order was to go. I waited and waited and food kept coming out and kept looking at my watch because I only have a 30 minute lunch break and we were coming up on 25 minutes for 1 wet burrito and at this point I was a bit frustrated. I was thinking did they run out of meat or tortillas and did they have to drive to Santa Ana to buy more? 25 minutes for take out is insane. So finally my food came out and I already was is a bad mood because they killed my entire lunch break. I get back to my office and I cut into the burrito and take a bite and guess what? It’s cold. I open the burrito and the cheese isn’t melted, the sauce is luke warm and my office doesn’t have a microwave. I literally took 2 or 3 bite of this burrito and then tossed it in the trash. It was the worst burrito i have ever had. Taco bell and Del Taco make better food and that’s not saying much. I mean I should have known better. This place is like a click up from fast food and I will not be coming back again and If anyone asks me what i think about this place i’m sorry but I won’t have anything nice to say about Cancun Fresh. Thanks for reading, Matthew Y.

Don’t even bother to come here, it’s neither fresh, nor Cancun inspired, they should be embarrassed to post that a «MEXICANMAMA» was on duty. I go to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo so many times I cannot even count so I know what good Mexican food tastes like. This taco joint serves food that is not even edible. The«carne asada» was so tough, it was tougher than the leather of my Mexican boots. The enchilada was soggy, the salsas were hot but tasteless, I could not even force myself to eat more than 2 bites because w/o a decent sauce, the already plastic taste food was a complete waste of time. The albondigas soup was made with tasteless chicken instead of beef. The tortillas chips were a waste too, again w/o a good salsa, do yourself a favor and go to Acapulco where authentic Mexican food can be had at about the same price or slightly higher but the portion is plentiful and every dish was good. Taco de Ojo is another alternative. I usually like to take pictures but this was such a waste of time, I did not even bother.

I was craving fish tacos and found this to be the nearest place to where I was at. The place was clean and had a nice salsa bar. The service was quick and friendly. As for the food. It was Ok. The fish tacos were tasty, but I’ve had better ones elsewhere. You can choose fried or grilled. They also have some beers on their drink menu. I’d stop by again the next time I’m craving tacos when I’m in the area.
