Found Julie through Unilocal and am glad I did. She’s a lot of fun and very enthusiastic. Made me feel welcome. Hair cut was great and also styled well. I come to CA every few months so I’ll try to time it so I can drop in for my next cut.

I live nearby and discovered this salon through Unilocal.Julie styled my hair and is fantastic! I love how she cut my hair, she tamed my curly, thick hair into beautiful layers, managed to thin it out without making it look thin lol. So glad I walked in :)

I love coming here to see Tammy she is the sweetest person and never complains when I come in every 3 months wanting to change hair color. And she always understands what it is I want next I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with Tammy!

My wife & I have been coming here exclusively for over a year now and we have absolutely loved each experience. The staff do amazing work on your hair, great skills and knowledge of styling and what works best on the customer is sometimes overlooked and they do not do this at all. The ladies are very great at holding conversations so it doesn’t feel awkward sitting there for extended period of time. Pricing is great as well as the entire salons atmosphere! I am actually going in again today to get yet another great haircut. Thank you everyone!

Tammy is amazzzzzing. She color corrected my CURLY, over bleached/​yellow hair. She took her time with my delicate damaged hair and corrected it by toning down the yellow and adding low lights. She’s definitely my go to girl.

Yani has an amazing way with hair and I’ve been getting my haircut from her for almost two years. I’ll never let any other hands touch my hair!:)

Found this place through Unilocal and I’m glad I did :) Julie did my hair and I am in love with it. She was patient with my consultation to make sure what I wanted. She offered suggestions that fit my skin and current hair color. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a very fun personality. She made sure that my hair was in top notch condition since I previously had dry hair due to using the hair curler. My hair looks beautiful and is well blended with bayalage highlights :) I definitely recommend her!

I hadn’t gotten my roots touched up in such a long time that people thought my hair was ombré. I’d previously used a stylist who was literally all over the place and Jenny, from Allure Hair Salon. I adore Jenny. She’s great at turning dark hair the perfect shade of blonde and cutting long hair, but is usually booked way in advance.
I’m very lazy when it comes to sitting still for long periods of time without having something to do (it’s an oxymoron, I know), so when it comes to booking appointments, it’s usually a spur of the moment thing where I literally have to force myself to do it because it’s at a desperate point where I’m looking like a freaking hippie. Since I already knew Jenny would be unavailable, I had to Unilocal myself a new hair salon. Enter 4me Salon & Spa.
I came on a Wednesday afternoon, so there was no wait. Tammy introduced herself, offered me water, and made me feel quite at ease. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted, because I probably wasn’t so certain myself, and Googled a few photos to give her an idea. She then explained to me the plan of action and how much she would charge. I can’t even remember the last time a stylist gave me pricing off the bat like that, but I think all stylists should. I would definitely pay more for a stylist to not turn my dark hair chola orange or give me earthy green undertones, but it’s always appreciated when someone gives me a dollar value on their services up front so I can sit there and digest it if it’s a $ 250 bill, which it surprisingly was not.
Tammy then got to work on my highlights, putting foil all over my head, and we chit-​chatted. Another thing to be thankful for is that Tammy is a natural conversationalist, and our conversation never felt forced. I dislike meaningless banter, unless I’m tipsy or talking to little people under the age of two. She explained to me that Aveda was all natural, and not chemical-​based like many other products, which fits into my new and improved lifestyle really well.
After the color was done, she blow-​dried my hair to show me the color. I love how she explained what she was doing every step of the way, so there were never any unpleasant surprises. She then proceeded with the hair cut. This was the first time that I have ever had a stylist cut my hair when dry. It was fascinating to watch, and by the end of it, I’d become a believer that all stylists should cut hair this way. I normally don’t love a haircut straight away; it usually takes me some time to get used to, but this should tell you how amazing this cut was. She didn’t cut off more than I asked, and put some nice layers in it to give my long, limp hair some volume. She even gave me some quick tips for styling my hair, since being the lazy bastard I am, I normally just shampoo, condition, and air dry.
At the end of it, I left with beauty queen Tennessee volume, chola-​unnaproved highlights, a happy wallet, a new brush to tease my hair with, and her card. As much as I feel like a traitor to Jenny, I think I’ve found a new go-​to place. Tammy is amazing! If you haven’t been here yet, go now!!!

I’ve been coming here for several months now and Julie and Tammy are great! Tammy usually cuts my son’s hair while I have mine cut with Julie. Both are very knowledgeable and excellent stylists. If you are around this area I would highly recommend this place. I’ve tried 3 other places before finding 4MeSalon and I couldn’t be happier.

Julie is a fantastic hair stylist! This was my first time ever dying my hair so yes, it was virgin hair! I’ve been very skeptical about dyeing it but decided why not one day. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. It’s just what I wanted for a fresh and unique look! I had black hair and I was afraid of it being orange like other girls’ hairs that I see, but this might be my look for the next few years! She did an amazing job with massaging my hair, blow drying, dyeing, and took a lot of time to do the highlights very precisely. Especially for someone like me who has thick and tons and tons of hair, she worked really fast (about 4 hours max). I asked that my hair be as little damaged as possible and its still smooth like it was before. I loved how she styled it afterwards and gave me tiles how to style it at home. She knows how to accommodate picky people like me. Julie knows what’s she doing and you can talk to her about anything and never feel uncomfortable! I showed her a few pics to get this look and I think it’s better than the pictures! Give her a try and you won’t be disappointed!!!
The place is very neat and organized ²⁴⁄₇ and is located on magnolia and Warner in the same plaza as Starbucks.

So I came upon this salon after Unilocaling around the area. I really needed to redye my hair since it has been two months. What I look for in a hair salon is that the stylist get the coloring right and it’s affordable. After making calls at different salon, I called 4me and they told me I can come in right away so they can take a look at my hair.
I got to the salon at around 1pm and the stylist (and I believed manager as well) warmly welcomed me. She talked to me about my hair and how I want it to look. All I wanted was to color it and she sat me down and we both decided on a color.
I actually had a picture on me and showed her and she said she can do it for me without having my hair bleach.
After, she washed my hair, did some things to it and then the power decided to go out as she was blow drying my hair. This happened twice, but it didn’t really bother me. She was putting the dye in for me and some of the power did come back.
Tammy was really sweet. I really like her. She tries to strike a conversation and offers me water. She also offered to waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had never waxed before and wow, the experience was different. I was so surprised at the burn but it did feel nice and my eyebrows does look a lot cleaner.
My experience here we quite amazing despite the lack of AC due to the blackout, but it was no big deal. My total came put to be $ 115 with hair treatment and the waxing. Tammy told me that the first time is a lot because she had to color correct my hair and the next time I come back will be a lot cheaper as she input it into the system for me.
Definitely coming back :)
Also, my hair didn’t look much like my reference photo, but I still love the color. Can’t wait to come back to color it again.

Maybe it’s just me and my string of bad luck when it comes to haircuts, but I received the most horrifying haircut here of all time.
Although Yani is a very nice person, I don’t know how she even got hired. I had very little layers and it was weighing my hair down. I wanted more layers, so I told Yani that.
Maybe it was my fault for assuming that people know how to cut layers because Yani obviously didn’t. The tip of my hair is to my belly button. My hair goes from my tip and the next layer up is all the way to my chin. The layers were not gradual at all. It literally looks like she took a bowl to cut the outer portion of my hair and left the back part of my hair long. She didn’t even bother layering it to make it blend into my hair. Right now, I look like I have 2 different hairstyles piled on top of each other.
I can’t even look at myself in the mirror anymore. It is the saddest thing in the world and all of my friends who saw me said that they would have cried if they got the haircut I received.
However, I must admit that the interior is very nice and Yani was once again, very nice, but she didn’t talk to me through the haircut at all. She didn’t reassure me that what she was doing was what I really wanted.
I have received a lot of bad haircuts in my time, but this one wins first prize. I can’t even…
I’m still too shocked at how horrendous my hair is to even use all caps…

I originally gave this place 1 star because of my first experience here as stated above. However, the manager, Tammy, contacted me after reading my review and scheduled an appointment with me to fix my hair.
She is one of the best hairdressers I went to. She was super kind, sweet, and told me everything she was going to do so I knew exactly what was going on. She would ask for my opinion on how she was going to cut it multiple times to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it.
She ended up fixing my hair and making the layers look more gradual and even. In the end, she refunded my money back and sent me off with a hug.
I will change my rating to 5 stars because of the kindness and professionalism Tammy showed. I will definitely go back to her!

Seriously awesome cuts and so efficient! I came for a treatment, cut and blow dry. My hair goes through hell everyday with hair spray, teasing and blow dries so it really was dismal and Julie rejuvenated it!
The treatment was swift and I gave her guidelines to my cut and she understood it all and delivered! She did it in just over an hour which is perfect for my busy schedule! Thanks Julie and 4mesalon! Xx
