Nice enough. basically a Denny’s style restaurant… nothing super fancy. Don’t dress up to go out to dinner here, jeans & a T-shirt will suffice. Food is pretty good, but I prefer the casino food over peppers food. Just my taste.

Ate here for a few weeks due to work. Food was good everytime and fast. Tried everything from the nachos to the prime rib. All good portions. When I’m in the area again, I will make sure to stop in for a bite to eat.

Solid breakfast spot, especially in Fortuna. Its a half-step up from a Dennys’ but with better quality ingredients and fresh produce. Their fruit plate is insane! Our server was very sweet, awesome with refilling coffees and suggesting things on the menu. Not a gourmet place, but again, think Denny’s/IHOP but with out the pre-packaged chain element.

Umm. don’t know why there are such great reviews about this place. Basic greasy, bland junk. Want cisco food? Want iceburg lettuce? Want thawed out junk burgers? Go here and barf later!

I didn’t think I would have liked this place but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Very big selection of options for a diner. The food was very good and the service was pleasant.

Xmas day only 3 restaurants open. we tried peppers. I ordered the special prime rib dinner at 1230 lunch. I really didn’t expect much. I was impressed. I ordered rare. it came perfectly rare. baked potato. Surprised again not microwaved .wow I will return. our waitress was excellent. Such a good surprise. And I think it was only 12.00 I never order meat and have not had a steak in years. I’m so happy I did. I have only been to this restaurant once before. I will return

Peppers is a great place to take the family. It is always a nice environment, fast friendly service and good food. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t tried it.

When I go to get the chicken fried steak which is delicious the staff is super friendly the seating is great it can be loud at times so that doesn’t matter it is a family environment after all… the waitresses are beautiful and friendly and sometimes can talk a little much but that’s okay it’s a small town feel with clean food that is always filling… The decorations seem a little much the general atmosphere is casual and inviting I would highly recommend going to this place for a sit down lunch or breakfast

The description is on point, very American traditional. Reminds me of 59 Diner in Houston, Texas to some extent. Since I’m vegan, options are extremely limited and difficult even w/the ones present. They butter your bun folks, you have to ask for no butter on the bun but honestly, they’ll probably still do it. Same w/the cheese(speaking of the garden burger), you have to ask for no cheese and they’ll probably still mess it up — making the wait time extend even further. Unfortunately, the cooks seem to lack comprehension to special requests. The waitresses are friendly enough but not the most attentive. Fries are good but fries can be good anywhere. Hash browns also yummy, but I’m sure it contains butter. Side of fruit is a nice option and they are very generous and taste fresh. The only thing that might be really vegan(besides the fruit) without struggle is the oatmeal, which is pretty good. So if you got a thing for oatmeal, Pepper’s might be your place.

Good breakfast, my family enjoyed the meal. Service was good except we needed more syrup. Overall a great place

Peppers does not serve food. They serve cankles on a hot plate. I’ve never been able to get through one meal without feeling nauseous. Not only are the servers questionable the«food» is pretty crusty too & that’s putting it mildly. All I know is that Fortuna desperately needs a good brunch spot(among other things) and this isn’t it. I’m judging anyone that gives this place more than 2 stars. The regular clientele is also sketchy at best.

Decent food, good service, not gourmet but tastes good! No surprises on the menu, but has nice variety. Husbands protect your eyes.

It’s okay. It’s Denny’s with a different name. My kids love to go there and I’m always hesitant since nothing on the menu sounds good to me, except for the desserts! Can’t go wrong with ice cream! I wish the menu had some healthier options with less fat! I ordered a turkey sandwich with no mayo and they still had buttered and browned the outside pieces. Not my kinda thing. Maybe I need to be more specific. I’m not against eating fat, like I said I love ice cream, but I would like to taste the real good and not just the fluff. It’s time for a menu update.

Not bad. Love the redwood club, but prices seem a little high. Cook the fries longer. They have a bit of raw element still to them. This has happened the last three times I went.

Good family restaurant. Stopped by for lunch. Pretty predictable menu so it allows you to play the safe card. Super friendly service.

You’ll wait an hour to get your food when its packed, home cooked stuff, reminds me of a classier Dennys. Just lots of quiet old people enjoying their food, the hum of cars outside. A little pricy for my tastes but the portions are huge so whoo. Its not the best out there but i keep eating there over and over again so it must be satisfying in its own little way somehow.

Down home cooking at a bit of a high price. I’ve been here a couple of times. I have a weakness for chicken fried steak and eggs and omg they do it right! I haven’t tried anything else because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
