The Reserve on Willow Lake

This is an awesome property and I have the good fortune of having a first floor apartment with a garage which faces the pond. It’s just off of I20 but still quiet. We are also a short drive from I30. So yes, great location. The property is clean and maintenance keeps up. The buildings are dated but the apartments have/​are been/​being renovated. Everything seems to work.
However, since the new owners have taken over things have gone down hill. The old staff was super friendly but they are gone now. The new people are not friendly and most egregious is the manager of the property. She likes to stay in her office while the rental agent is lost and overwhelmed. On two occasion I waited along with two other customers as the agent struggled to assist us and the manager sat in her office. Mind you, there’s a huge picture window between the office. She could see us and we could see her. In my experience the agent seldom seems to know whats going on or how to do anything.
The gates were out of commission for a couple of months. During this time, I was locked out of the property several times and had to wait for vehicles to leave to gain access.
Finally the management of the property claimed to be ready and had residents come to the office to reprogram their remotes. It took four visits to get mine to work with one of the two gates and another couple of weeks before my remote could work both gates. The remote worked for a couple of months and NOW THEY ARE BROKEN AND OPEN AGAIN. These people can’t get out of their own way and seem nothing but incompetent.
I love the property and my apartment but the management /​owners suck.
