OK, as I like to do when reviewing a place, I went back a second time to the Peppermill to see if the first visit was a fluke. Well, I think the first visit was a fluke and just happen to have all the right ingredients show up on that particular night to make it wildly entertaining from an observe-​and-​report point of view.
On the return visit the crowd was drastically different, the awesomely entertaining bartender was no longer there (and when I mean no longer there I mean she was fired from the bar after the previous weekend I was told,) and there was just no energy in the place.
So, this place might be hit-​or-​miss depending on what you’re looking for. I doubt I will be returning because I think it was a one-​and-​done mix on the first visit and the place is a little out of my way in general.
Since Peppermill is still a smoke filled dive bar with a couple of other decent dive bars within a few blocks of it I will keep my rating at an ‘OK’ 3 stars.

Great place to go have a cheap drink with Karaōke fun all of the time! Go check it out. Very clean and nice place. :)
