The Home Depot

Crappy parking lot… Full of carts. That’s very location specific. The other disappointment is that I needed a new primer bulb for my Ryobi string trimmer (which was bought at Home Depot, just not this one). Home Depot has them, but they are in a 3-​pack of three different sizes, for $ 8. Now $ 8 for three is a good deal, if you can use all three, but I can’t. So I went to Kyle’s instead and bought the ONE size I needed for less than $ 4.

This review is hard for me to post because I usually love the Home Depot. Unfortunately, this location’s staff is not getting the job done. I miss being able to walk into a hardware store/​Home Depot and being able to ask anybody anything and get an knowledgeable answer. Now it seems like the employees (when you can find one) just guess at answering some of my more technical questions. This weekend I wanted to know how to cut some plexiglass and i got three different suggestions — all which ended up being incorrect. If you don’t know, don’t tell me the wrong way to do something.
This was a really bad experience. Step it up HD.

OK-​the guy who works in plumbing does not know that bathtubs have a right or left handed drain, and tried to sell me the wrong one. They told us «everyone who knows stuff left at 6:00.» and also said the reason no one could answer our questions{we had been there almost 3 hours} was that «it’s shift change».
After I called customer service, the «store manager» called me back – turned out he is only the asst manager, as the manager told him to call me, and went to lunch! Called cust service back and told them to have district manager call me. This store is a waste of time. Sales people do not know enough to help and are not interested in doing so anyway.
Went to Lowe’s, bought bathtub, got great customer service. I am sorry that we already had many small specific plumbing items in the basket at HD or we could have spent all our money at Lowe’s.
Avoid this location! I spoke with a friend who had gone there this winter when the pipes froze, and she said the same guy «helped» her at HD, that he is a regular in the plumbing dept and he was also unable to answer her questions.

This is my local location. I like going in during this time of year checking on holiday items. They have some of the best Xmas live tree selections.
