Yum! Everything I’ve had here has been excellent! I’ve even tried the fresh made kale juice. Great place for breakfast!

This place always has great food! I’ve never ordered the same thing twice because I’m always excited to see what everything else on the menu tastes like. :) One thing I appreciate about this place is the consistency. I’m always seated promptly, the staff is always friendly and knowledgable of the menu and the food always arrives accurate and in a timely manner. What more could you ask for? :)

I have been to the ‘Egg and I’ once. And I will not be back. It was a Saturday morning it was extremely humid and hot. I was seated and I quickly was ready to leave. The AC was broken, the seating is extremely crowded. To top it off our service with our server was terrible. The food was terrible and over priced. The best part of going was getting my tab and leaving.

This is my favorite brunch spot in Fort Worth! There is always a 30+ minute wait every time I come(Sundays around 10 – 12). There is a coffee dispenser by the door so you can pour yourself a cup as you wait. The service is always slow at this time too, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Let’s get to the food. I’ve tried many things here and my absolute favorites are the original Eggs Benedict and the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. The hollandaise sauce is so creamy and buttery! I always get the ranch potatoes with my Benedict and it doesn’t disappoint. If you like a little kick to your food, try adding their house hot sauce — you won’t regret it.

Came in on a Wednesday morning, seated promptly. Waiter was quick, greeted me and offered coffee(probably because I looked like I needed it haha!). Coffee it $ 2 and some change. They give you a little tiny cup of milk and leave a thermos pitcher of coffee at your table. I only drank one cup of coffee so $ 2 was kind of a rip off, but if you drink more it totally makes sense! And if you’re like me(like coffee with your sugar & creamer ;)) well then be prepared to ask for refills frequently. I tried the seasonal Lemon Berry Ricotta pancakes. Doesn’t come with sides, but the pancakes were fairly large. I couldn’t even finish them. Loved that it was fresh berries and not that sugary syrupy strawberry junk. Lemon curd was pretty good, and pancakes themselves were pretty good too. I’ve never had ricotta pancakes before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but you could see the ricotta when you cut into them, but it wasn’t mushy or anything. I suppose if you come here you should order something from their namesake, the eggs section of the menu! Tons of options, but I had a hankering for pancakes. I’d come back here, and try something else. My total was $ 13 and some change for 2 pancakes and coffee. Seemed kinda high but I believe everything was make in house fresh from scratch so totally reasonable and worth it! Thought it was cool they had their own hot sauce, if the Owner reads this they should check out Hot Sauce Depot! Right in Keller, with their own hot sauce brand that they will print and put your own labels on! Save you a ton on shipping for sure.

This is our first visit. Everything came out piping hot and perfectly cooked! The blueberry compote was not too sweet(more on the natural flavor side) and the potatoes were delicious(not overly seasoned).

I like it. Would have been 5 stars if I was offered a coffee while waiting for our table. I think this is required for anyplace being touted as a «breakfast» spot. As it was, I asked for a coffee and got it, but I need my coffee quicker. I had the. «EGGBYTEOMELETTE An egg white omelette with fresh tomatoes, green peppers, spinach, onions and mushrooms.» Very good(after a splash of cholula). I do like that the carafe of coffee is left at the table. Nothing worse than an empty coffee cup and an absentee server. Bottom line: I’ll probably be back.

As I entered this building everyone was so pleasant and acknowledged me as soon as I hit the front door. The people that work there are quick, friendly and it did not take that long. I ordered the chile rellenos and it was good. It’s not like authentic Mexican style but is good for a settle breakfast not too heavy and the portion size was great! Definitely going back

I ordered the Santa Fe Huevos and I chowed down after I received it, mostly because I waited over an hour from the time we arrived until we were served. As I ate, I tried to deconstruct the recipe, and I think I have got it: mission tortilla, spread on a plate. Top with black beans from a can including liquid, no need to heat. Scrambled egg and cheese. Top with enough pace picante sauce to drown everything. Add a tiny scoop of sour cream and guacamole. Voila! This was really expensive for what it was and I don’t think I will be back. The waffles and pancakes looked very good though.

Good food, great service, I think we found our new breakfast place. I typically don’t like eggs a lot nor do I usually get excited about breakfast but this was good food. The staff was very friendly. They have non-egg items in their menu so you’re not stuck eating eggs. They have all the usual stuff, waffles, bacon, sausage, etc. Point is don’t let the egg in the name stop you, try it, you just might like it!

They are always really friendly here. I love all of the eggs Benedict choices they really are great. I ordered viva La France French toast once, and it wasn’t bad but it was lacking in size. So when I go back I’ll stick to the eggs Benedict. Overall it’s clean, has a great staff, and puts out some yummy eggs Benedict!

Consistent quality service that is found at other Egg & I locations across the US. I’ve been fortunate to have the same server for each visit to this location, and have appreciated his breakfast recommendations while awaiting for my car to be fixed at nearby NTB. Some of the Egg & I’s best breakfast items that yield considerable value for the price are the combos, such as the pancake flapper. You can get one large whole wheat or white pancake with eggs + choice of sausage links/patties or bacon for $ 8 or $ 9. Combine that with their specialty coffee that is very strong, and you have a really good breakfast for about $ 13(including tip) in a venue that is very comfortable & clean. Check this place out!

This place is like a Denny’s or IHOP with a twist. A little pricier though. Especially for the add-ons! Went there on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded not much waiting area. You sign in with the girls at front and wait close by for them to call your name. Our server was very attentive and friendly considering how busy it was. The food to me was mehhh. Might give this place one more try before I really decide. I got the Vera Cruz grilled chicken and avocado omelette. The omelette was okay but the salsa was very watered down. Had to eat it without the salsa and used lots of hot sauce.

Just don’t do it. Not good. This area of Texas has so many good breakfast places to eat at, that when you eat something this bad your really disappointed. Final disappointment was the bill. Way to high for poor quality food.

We came here for breakfast. I was sceptic but my sister dragged me in because my little nephew was craving eggs and waffles… So along I went. the ambiance was cold and very senior citizen home like. a very aloof waitress took our order… the menu did offer plenty of options to choose from but I had seen them before plenty of times in same order appearing on several other menus… so after glancing through a boring menu I settled for their«healthy» option of egg white omelette with veggies which came with heavily buttered white gluten endorsed English muffin and side of canned fruit… Need I say more. Although my iddy bitty nephew had a blast stuffing his sweet little pout with waffles and eggs we were all left wishing that we should of gone to IHOP!

Not a great experience for us. It was our first time eating here and being a Sunday, we knew there would be a long wait for breakfast. Our food was brought out at different times, and it was cold. Thankfully, they brought us warm entrees after we complained, but it took too long and unfortunately we won’t be back.

Everything tasted amazing!!! Great atmosphere!!! Only thing that went wrong was they forgot the milk and bacon and then we realized they forgot the toast but they were quick to rectify the issue. I was going to give a 4 star but with how quickly they fixed the issue they deserve a 5 star rating! Busy morning but still a relaxing and fun time! I really want to go again the next time I visit here!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever, and definitely my favorite breakfast/brunch place. I almost always get the Parisian Benedict. It changed my life and I’m only kind of exaggerating. The place itself is beautiful. Every time I go there, they have different fresh and beautiful flowers in little vases on each table. The servers are not the most bubbly or enthusiastic but they do their job well. This is a favorite spot for my family to enjoy a nice weekend afternoon together. I absolutely love this place and I’m sad to see it have mediocre reviews on here.

We regularly have breakfast at The Egg & I. The food is always good and the service excellent. I recommend the Green Chicken Chili Hash, the Strawberry Banana Nut Waffle and the Berry-ola oatmeal. We normally sit in Dahlia’s section because she’s friendly, great at her job, and makes sure her customers are taken care of. Thank you Dahlia. :-)

Good veggie benedict, all fresh veggies included. My new favorite eggs Benedict ever. I just wish the English muffin was toasted but now I know for next time. My son loved his bear pancake. They offer you coffee to go.

Today was my first visit and I got the Parisian Eggs Benedict with ranch potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Prices are kind of high but you get a lot of food for your money(I could only finish half of it) I will definitely be coming back to try more things off their menu.

Positive: food was ok Negative : Silverware was filthy. Sent it back twice and finally another waiter(who was actually very helpful) washed the silverware himself and finally got clean silverware. Makes me wonder about the plates as well… Service was awful. Most everyone looks like they were partying and don’t feel like being here… It is 1:03pm. Water not refilled until my wife held her glass up for about two minutes. I have been to other Egg and I restaurants and received MUCH better service and food. It is really sad that this location is operating so terribly. I want to make sure that you, the reader, know that I do not give 1 star ratings typically but this is exceptionally poor. I would suggest the operators of this location do something about the service and teach the dishwasher how to wash dishes.

First visit today, and after reading some of the reviews was not sure I expected much on service, and good to little better food! Well, what a pleasant surprise! Service was attentive and professional! Watching around the dining room it was apperant that if they had problems previously they are addressing them! And food was EGGCELLENT! Had the corned beef with a few over easy eggs over the top. English muffins on the side… YUMMY! Glad that we have another breakfast choice in the area… frankly this is as good as any, and better than most!

Glad there is place like this open everyday of the week! I first tried this place in Tennessee, then they opened one close by. Had brunch here on a Friday. I ordered the crab’s cake benedict, when it comes to breakfast/brunch I’ll always order some type of egg’s benedict, the hollandaise sauce always makes it perfect. My boyfriend ordered Santa fe huevos. Chorizo, black beans, pepper jack cheese, salsa, sour cream, onions, served w/ranch potatoes. Extremely tasty, hispanic flavors. They offer waffles, pancakes, french toast, omelettes, benedict, and much more! If they offered brunch cocktails this place would be perfect! I’ll come here when I want a real breakfast and not mc donalds, donuts, etc.

Let’s start with a positive: The staff is pleasant and well intentioned. Now that we got that behind us, let’s talk about the good. It can be summed up as uninspired. If you can’t execute a basic 2 eggs over medium and potatoes with grits and bacon you don’t deserve to be open. The potatoes are made in advance and blah. The grits were clumpy, which I sent back. Asked for eggs over medium which they were not so I sent them back and they got it right the second time. I like supporting local business, but I also expect to feel some love and passion from the food coming out if the kitchen. It ain’t here.
