I haven’t been to Pappas burger in a few years and I was in the area today so I decided to check it out again. The service was really good, everyone was nice and attentive. I ordered the hickory burger with a fry and drink. I don’t remember the burgers being so expensive but a hickory burger which they consider a specialty burger and a fry is 15.95 which is pretty steep for a burger. I unfortunately was not blown away by the burger, it was just ok. One thing that turned me off was the burger had quite a bit of gristle in it so I was unable to enjoy the burger like I would have liked. The fries were hot and fresh and very good. I won’t run back to Pappas but the good service made it redeemable.

I was disappointed with nachos. They were horrible. I told the waiter(David) he offered to take them back but we hoped they would get better. They didn’t.!! Great atmosphere .

We visited papadeaux’ earlier this year. We had a terrible experience but the manager contacted me after posting a review and we received a gift card. We decided to use it at Papa’s burgers. We ordered the 20 piece wings and my husband and I shared a burger while our aunt and uncle ordered a salad and another burger. I have nothing bad to say. The food was great! And I still crave those shakes! Wow! We will definitely go back to Papa’s burgers but stay away from papadeaux.

I had a greek salad +Chk and tea. thats it. $ 25 with tip at lunch. Come on really? It was good but no salad and drink is $ 25 unless its loaded with something special and Organic. Never again.

Food was tasty. My wife doesn’t normally like burgers, but her Lucy Juicy burger was one of the best she has had. Our waiter Ramon was awesome. Some of our order was not right, but they fixed it quickly.

Holy Cheeseburger! Their Lucy Juicy Burger just cracked the Top 3 of my Top 10 Burger list. It’s definitely above avg on cost, but more than makes up for it with size, and most importantly it’s taste. This thing was probably the biggest burger I have ever eaten. And more juicy than you can imagine. Take a look at my pic below. It does take 12 – 15 mins to cook, but it’s worth the wait… The egg, bacon jam, grilled onions, and pimento cheese perfectly melded together to create burger nirvana. The bun only lasted 2 bites before starting to fall apart, so get plenty of napkins ready. Also, the Sweet Potato fries were equally spectatular. To complete my caloric binge, I finished my meal with a shake. The Coconut Cream Pie shake was above avg, but unfortunately had a little bit of a pineapple/piña colada taste to it than I last remember, something that I am kinda Meh about in a shake. This burger has dethroned Magnolia Motor Lounge’s «Custom» as my new FW Burger Champ. Next time I’m back in town, this will be my first place to stop at. *Ask for an extra side of Bacon Jam! **Pro Tip: Join their email Club and get a free dessert coupon.

It’s ok nothing to brag about. The service was fine and the food was good. For the price I prefer Red Robin over this place. This place seems like a high end Johnny Rockets.

The first time I came here I got the mushroom & swiss burger and my boyfriend got the barbecue burger, everything was delicious. We also got a side of sweet potato fries that were very tasty! However, the second time we went, our food was so so salty we couldn’t even get halfway through our meal. We ordered the exact same thing, but instead of sweet potato fries we got fried pickles and they tasted like fried salt disks. Very disappointed we had such a high expectations set from our previous experience but our food was just way too salty. Service is great though, they were consistent with refills(we wouldn’t have been able to get down any food without any) & everyone is really friendly!

I always get the dilemma burger or lobster when I go here. Then I suddenly realise that they are priced the same and I would act ridiculously if I don’t get the lobster. It’s a steamed, soft goodness served with garlic butter. Pretty amazing and I don’t have to worry much about the etiquette if I get some lobster on my face.

The worst burger I have ever had. The bread was soggy and tasteless. I forced myself to eat half of the burger. I drove from Frisco and am headed home very disappointed.

I am so bummed about this. I absolutely loved Pappas Burgers in the past, overpriced and all. I don’t live near one so I rarely get to go. My husband and I were driving to a breakfast spot, I saw Pappas, and convinced him to wait an hour until they opened at 11 so we could eat there. We got to the parking lot right at 11 and sat in the car for five minutes just to be sure– we got to the door and it was still locked. Finally some let us in. This happened to about three other couples that arrived after us(maybe just unlock the door?). Then to our surprise, they have changed their ordering system? One way I justify spending $ 15 is because I full service. I just can’t justify it any more. We ordered a chocolate shake(it was amazing!), a nikel burger, a bacon nikel burger and a side Greek salad. The salad came out without pita bread, which apparently was the reason my husband wanted it. He asked the waitress if he could have some. First she argued with him that it didn’t come with pita bread, then went and asked a manager. Apparently if you get the smaller salad, you don’t get the bread. But you can hve some for $.75 cents more. Now, come on. The two of us spent $ 40 bucks and were there for 30 minutes. You couldn’t have brought a piece of bread and told us what the deal was? The burger was decently flavored but very, very greasy. Fries were greasy and not as salty as I remembered. Unfortunately we won’t be returning to a Pappas Burger.

Very overpriced. The cheapest(junior) burger fry and drink combo is going to set you back 12 dollars before tip. The service has always been pretty good. I have only gone here for business meetings where the company or someone else is paying, because momma didn’t raise no dang fool who pays 20 dollars for a full size burger, fries, coke and tip. The burgers are mediocre and defiantly not worth the price or venue.

5 stars through and through! Wow! Where do I start? Ok. We came here on a whim Because we’ve had a Pappas Gift card for a bit. We were in the area, usually Houstonians. Ok. Came in here. Was thinking it would be a regular sit down Pappas, but a bit informal. Which is fine because let me tell you what happened next! So, we ordered two of the ½ rack of ribs and fried shrimp, Greek salad to split and hot wings. We sat down and a very friendly Manager came and informed us that unfortunate they only had one plate of ribs left. I was sad, but my Husband, sweet Husband said I could have the ribs cause he wasn’t too into them anyway. But the Manager offered to comp us a replacement meal, which I thought was mighty sweet of him and the restaurant management. In the end we ended up sharing everything anyway. Let me tell you how it went down. OMG! Greek salad(A) delicious, tasty fresh and we were able to split it for 2 just fabulous. Wings(A++): OMG Can I meet your Mother, I’d Like to Marry You and Take you home with me Wings!!! BEST, wings I have EVER tasted. Crispy on the outside-just a touch. Juicy. And the Sauce! OMG, with a Capital O! My next absolute favorite bite. The fresh, plump, lightly battered delicious SHRIMP! I’d say the shrimp are devious because I couldn’t stop eating them. I even stole some form my Hubby! I was still eating my salad when I took my first shrimp bite then the my mouth was competing for shrimp and salad. The shrimp won. But then I finished my salad. LOl! So shrimp(A++) Ribs A+ Cat fish A+ Coke slaw A Fries??? Hardly tried any. Hershey chocolate kalua cake A+ Throwback natural sugar soda(Dr. Pepper & Big Red) A+ On top of that extremely friendly staff. Extremely competent and customer conscious Manager(Koby). If I could give them 1 more star I would. Thanks guys! Great meal!

Wow! Where do I start? Let me start by saying that Koby, the Manager, is freakin’ AMAZING Bro. That guy made me feel like a good KING. Respectful. Courteous. Kind. Cool. Responsible. This guy delivered, hands down, the best service I have ever received at any Pappas restaurant I’ve ever been in.(And I’ve been to more than a few.) Rachel, our Server was great too. She was very kind and check on us regularly. Now, when we walked in, I went to the bathrooms and they were being cleaned right in the middle of dinner service, which is awesome. Then I get introduced to the menu; we ordered 2 ½ racks of ribs, one with shrimp and the other with wings. We also got a couple of bottled drinks and a Greek salad. After we made ourselves comfortable, Rachel made her way over to us and let us know that our order was coming right up. Then she showed up again and informed us that there was only 1(one) rack of ribs left. I said«No worries. I’ll just order something else.»…Then Koby showed up. He came and apologized for the inconvenience and comp’d us whatever replaced my non-existent rack of ribs. He suggested the Catfish and shrimp basket. Then he suggested the hot wings as an appetizer. This guy know his food. Like a whirlwind of happiness: BAM! GODTIERWINGS. *drools* SHAZAM! AMAZINGSHRIMP! *my body feels warm & fuzzy* SUPERSWAPAM! INCREDIBLEGREEKSALADANDCATFISH! *what’s happen inside my body?* …the food and service was so good, it was as if we had gone through the whole meal in about 5 mins.(It had been 30 mins.) Then, I say: «Hey Bebe, how bout’ a dessert?» *Chocolate Cake Stare* We order it and this«Bro of the Year» Nominee, Koby, COMPSUS the goddamn dessert! He says it’s because it was our first time here. FUCKINGWOW! This guy deserves all the praise! Then the cake arrives… Ohmygod. OH. MY. GOD. This fucking cake… Hersey & Kahlua cake?! R u serius??? THATCAKEWASOUTOFTHISWORLD! *mangasm* Well, there you have it folks. Get over here. That 3 star rating is a joke; this place is a 6 star(Yes, SIXSTAR) joint. Pappas has a customer for life. Thank you! P. S. Koby is one hell of a manager. Please promote him to Pappas Bros. He totally deserves it. P. S.2 We love you, Koby.

It took 12 minutes for us to be greeted. When we were finally greeted it was some random girl who ended up not being our waitress. She got us drinks and then left. 20MINUTESLATER she came back and took our order. The food came out and then after about 7 minutes another random girl(who turned out to be our waitress) came by and asked, «can I get y’all anything?» When we were done eating we waited 20 minutes for the check… only to have to call the manager over who HADBEENWATCHINGTHEENTIRETIMEANDDIDNOTINTERVENE.(oh, but she got us our check. Whoopy, free at last!) Such a joke! Especially when the food is over-priced. AGAIN, THEMANAGERHADBEENWATCHINGTHEENTIRETIME… HOWDOYOUNOTNOTICE A PROBLEM? in the waitress’ defense, she was extremely busy and in «the weeds»(with ONE other table). In short, service is a joke, food is mediocre at best, ridiculously over-priced and no one knows what they are doing.

Got the bacon cheeseburger and a soft drink which ran $ 19.00. You order when you arrive then they have a staff that fills your drink order so that equals a tip. The food was good but not $ 20 good French fries were good as well and a lot of them. Overpriced in my mind.

Pappas knows what they’re doing. I haven’t had a bad meal at any of their restaurants and that holds here. The burgers are among the most flavorful, though a little juicy so a stack of napkins is necessary. Aside from burgers this is the one place my kids will just devour the chicken strips. Price holds back the fifth star. Just little much for a burger place. But i still keep coming back.

Pappas Burger — you are the BEST!!! Our family visited this location on Saturday, February 28th around 6:30pm. We were in Ft. Worth for the Cowtown Marathon, which unfortunately was cancelled due to the inclement weather. Since there was no need for a pre-race meal, we went all out and had delicious mozzarella sticks(really, don’t miss these!), nickel burgers, and milkshakes. Don’t let the name«nickel» fool you, these burgers were more than enough to satisfy our appetites. All of the food was excellent & brought out in a timely manner. The way it works is you order at a counter, fill your drink, pick a seat, and then a server takes care of you for the rest of the evening. You don’t pay until the end of the meal, just like a normal restaurant. While the food was excellent, what also impressed us was the manager. He came over to our table several times, was super friendly, and in the midst of talking to us, he learned about our cancelled plans. He really went out of his way to treat us like kings & he really hooked us up! We didn’t catch his name, but based on other reviews, this guy makes a lasting impression on many of his customers. A++ job & thanks for treating us so well! We’ve already recommended this Pappas Burger to our DFW-based family & we will be back!

Just reviewed the other Pappas restaurants, might as well do the last on the block! I have ate at Pappas burgers a few times. The burgers are decent and pretty big. I usually get the Mushroom Swiss. Their shakes are really good as well. They do have other options besides burgers, but I don’t think I swayed from the burgers. I don’t like that you have to stand and order from the board, then be seated. I rather be waited on. I think this is what keeps us from coming back more often.

Love their hamburgers, but my favorite is their Mozzarella Sticks. They are so good and taste like they are hand cut and breaded. My husband tried their 10″ hotdog with chili, cheese and onions. Definitely a good sized portion of tasty food. Our server Ashley was a pleasure. She was personable and accommodating. We love going to all of the Pappas’ Restaurants because we know that their food quality is high and that we will be rewarded with delicious and consistent food.
