I lived here from Aug 2010– Mar 2014 and have really enjoyed my time at Lincoln Park. They have several convenient amenities like a pool, 24 hour gym, and business center. One comment I will make is that these apartments are very well built. Over my time here I probably only heard my neighbors once or twice. That doesn’t seem like a big deal until you’ve lived somewhere with paper-thin walls. I’ve visited friends at the apartments on 7th street and it’s so bad you can hear people talking in the next apartment over! Another thing that I enjoyed is the events that they host. Every few weeks they have a mixer and open up a bar tab for the residents. It’s a great way to meet some people and get some free food. Lastly the management team was really great. They always were very prompt with requests and made all the residents feel welcomed. The only reason I didn’t give this apartment 5 stars is because of the issues with the fire alarm. It was definitely disruptive but seemed to get better towards the end of my stay. If I were to do it all over again, I would still have lived at LP. It was definitely a great experience.

I had a hard time deciding between 2 and 3 stars on LPTB. So far, my experience here has been less than stellar but there are definitely a few things I like. Likes: every month they organize several activities for residents at local bars/restaurants where they cover the first $ 200 or so of the bill. It is definitely a good time to meet some of the other people that live here. I also like that the gym is open 24⁄7 and that they bring in a personal trainer twice a week for boot camp. Overall, the office staff are nice but some of the people who run the place are fake and a bit overzealous. It’s also nice that it’s only like a 5 minute walk to downtown, which I am looking forward to when the weather turns up a little bit. Dislike: They market«luxury apartments», but in truth they are all pretty basic. The kitchens are very small with minimal counter space and my dishwasher is near worthless. They also have a MAJOR problem with their fire alarms. Numerous times they have gone off in the middle of the night. Last week they went off for a solid 20 minutes at 3am before somebody could turn them off. The last thing I really don’t like is the location. They preach having«views» but there is absolutely nothing and the place is located in a pretty ghetto neighborhood. Within a block on the backside you can find boarded up houses, fences with barbed wire etc. It’s also a bit annoying having the train run right behind the complex. Overall, the people here are okay but the value isn’t remotely close to what I would want for this price. If I hadn’t moved to Fort Worth from out of state with no idea of where anything is, I wouldn’t have signed a lease here.
