I didn’t realize how GOOOOD this sushi was(i am new to sushi) until i went to a competitor and was extreamly dissatisfied. So needless to say Ha Na Bi is delicious! The service is great, could use another server maybe but all in all the food is SOOOO worth it. Ive been 5 times in the past 3 weeks…

I’m not a fan of sushi just to be clear! So, you noticed the five stars above, eh? Ok. Let me ‘splain. I was with friends(don’t make any stereotype comments just b/c they are half-Asian, ok?) but they all love sushi. Well it took some figuring that they have TWO different sides to the restaurant. The left side is sushi only so I almost got up and left along with my friends. Then, voila, after some discussion, I found the right side of the restaurant tucked neatly in but hidden from view where you can have sushi AND of course Hibachi grill as well with all the festive and theatric cooking that goes with it. Oh my gosh… Everything was so grand. The food was out of this world, ALL of it. Be warned. You’ll want to go back again and again. They had happy hour on the sushi(Mon — Thur 5 – 7) so the price was ridiculously low for it. My buds all piggied out and did doubles. It was hilarious how much they packed away. I don’t know where they put it. I had the steak and shrimp. It’s not cheap but oh boy was it ever so good. So, carry a fat wallet and be prepared for a delightful time and amazingly good food. I can’t believe I’ve lived here about 5 years and just now discovered it.

I love hibachi restaurants. I went here on a business dinner and really enjoyed my order. I had the hibachi chicken with rice. The cook was very friendly and personable. He tried to make our visit fun and memorable. Even so, I feel that if you have seen the tricks at one hibachi, you’ve seen them all. Nothing new or memorable here. Just the same good food and service one would come to expect. My plate ran $ 17 which is pretty average for a place like this. I’d go back.

Normally my fiancée and I love this place, but we went for a date night last week and something bothered me during our visit. We got there at 6:40 and were told we’d have to wait for more people to show up so we’re not the only ones at a grill. Fine I get it. After 10 minutes of waiting, nobody came through and they were forced to seat us(they aren’t that busy mind you). We then sat at our table/grill for another 10 minutes without being offered anything to drink and we missed out on the happy hour sushi menu. Server finally come by at 7:01, how convenient. We were told happy hour was over, before my fiancée complained about our experience to that point, thus we were given the happy hour price for one round. Now, at 7:05 another party joins us at our table/grill and they received a happy hour menu. When the server greets them and offers them to get somethings off that menu, I about lost it. Very disappointed in that whole ordeal. Other than that, food is excellent as always.

Came for my son’s birthday and had a great time. Food was very good and our hibachi chef was very talented and had a great personality. The group next to us was actually watching him to because their chef was not very enthusiastic. We will definitely be back.

I really like their sushi, it’s pretty good for this part of town. I’m not really a fan of hibachi, but I do like their selection of veggies. I want to bathe in the clear soup(it’s not miso btw, it’s CLEARSOUPPEOPLE!) the chef was entertaining and the server was quick and attentive. Side note: I sat next to these ladies who were discussing what to tip, I’m sorry, «double the tax»!!! I hope they know they were served by three people, there’s the server, the hibachi chef and then the sushi chef(they ordered sushi, I observed), that is three people you need to cover lady!

This was my first time going to this restaurant, and the level of disrespect I got from this place was ridiculous. The restaurant starts dinner around 5 pm, and we were the first people in line. The host skipped over my little brother and I twice, and sat someone else over us. What made it even worse was the fact that she told us she would take care of us when we got there, but did that to us. It was a direct slap to the face! Probably will never go back to this place again.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner this evening and we were seated in the regular dining area as we were going to be ordering sushi. Other than ourselves there were two other tables in the main dining area and there was one hibachi grillOur server immediately took our drink order,(2 ice teas) we looked over the regular menu and the sushi menu. We ordered an appetizer called the heart attack for my husband he was starving) and she returned with our drinks. I had a few questions about the menu and our waitress told us should be back in a few moments to assist me. When she returned she asked us if we were ready to order, proceeded to take my husband’s order and when I started to ask my questions and she got distracted and said she’d be right back and disappeared for 10 minutes. When she returned she had my husbands avocado cream cheese rolls and his California roll. She finally then answered my questions and took my order. Before my order ever came my husbands fried rice arrived which then he tried insisting on waiting to eat until my food arrived but I told him to go ahead and eat so it didn’t get cold. When my volcano roll and Las Vegas finally arrived they were beautiful, prepared correctly, and extremely tasty. we absolutely love the food however the service could use some major improvement. We will return again and hopefully not have the same waitress unfortunately neither of us got her name and she was not wearing a name tag.

I knew being Valentine’s Day it was a gamble, since they do not take reservations on weekends. I see why! We arrived 20 minutes before they open at 5pm, and the line had already formed about 30 people deep. By the time they opened the doors, there was enough to fill the restaurant, and within 10 minutes the wait for a Hibachi was an hour! We were seated in about 10 minutes, since there were some folks that just had to get gift certificates while the hostess was trying to seat people… small annoyance, but some people don’t get out much. We sat at the Sushi bar, where the Sushi Chef’s were very friendly, worked as a team, and could tell they like what they do! Everything was delicious. We thanked the chef Whan — This is on the list of favorites!

Love love love this place. Their staff is great and their food is amazing. When we have a celebration it is somewhere we go asap. The filet is amazing and the fried rice is awesome.

Absolutely delicious! The show and food are of great quality. I included video clips of some of the neat tricks the chef will perform if you choose to sit Habachi side. They do have regular seating available. Lunch is never busy… dinner however had a terrible long wait. However, it was definitely worth the wait! They don’t skip out on portion size when preparing your food. I was pretty much full before he was done with the show. There was so much food! I recommend the NY Strip and Shrimp! Yummy! The atmosphere is cheerful with all the parties sitting around the grills laughing and enjoying each other’s company and the setting was clean and modern. A must try for the area!

this was my first time eating hibachi, was definitely a different type of dinner, the cook was funny and entertaining and the food was great, I had the steak and shrimp with fried rice, the vegetables were a little bland though.

One of the better hibachi chefs pulled out all his tricks when there was only 3 of us there for late lunch. Always appreciate people who work to be the best and show heart on a daily basis. I was seated quickly, got drink, soup and salad within minutes of each other. My tea glass never got empty and she checked regularly. Food tasted fresh, especially the shrimp and scallops with my food. A great lunch experience.

Great Japanese restaurant. Although it is not the best sushi I have ever had if you live in Keller area this is as good as you’re going to get. I would say it is the best sushi in Keller area. To find better you need to go to Southlake, Dallas, or Fort Worth. If it is your first time I would recommend the rainbow but if you are feeling a little adventurous than the four seasons is for you. Lastly as a Texas girl I love fried food so also try the on the board if you are the same. Staff 3⁄5 Atmosphere 4⁄5 Food 3⁄5 Drinks 2⁄5 Price 4⁄5

I had such a great experience here. The filet mignon was very soft and good. The chicken was a little too dry but it was very flavorful. The chefs were so funny and interactive with us. Everything was tasty but the downfall was the wait. They wait for the table to get full even if that means waiting an additional 30 mins…

Well this place simply sucks. I thought about writing a long articulate review on how terrible it is but it isn’t worth my energy. The food is good but guess what… There are plenty other sushi/habachi joints that have good food. One would think that customer service and satisfaction is important but apparently they don’t agree. When I first started going you could order«habachi» without sitting at a loud, annoying grill surrounded by people you didn’t know. Now you HAVE to sit at a grill. I’m sorry but once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. I happen to enjoy being able to hear the person accompanying me to dinner when they’re right beside me. Last time I went I expressed that I didn’t want to sit at the grill but was advised that the habachi menu wasn’t served at a regular table. Keep in mind that before they would just cook it in the back. The manager was rude and seemed put off that we even asked. Fine by me… I’ll take my business somewhere else. Maybe it’s just me but since a restaurant thrives on getting customers shouldn’t the management try not to be an ass?

Very good hibachi steakhouse. Went for lunch and had hibachi & sushi. Tropical roll was excellent and I’m not a huge sushi fan so that’s saying something! Soup was tasty, usual Japanese steakhouse salad, very good fried rice & veggies and my steak and shrimp were flavorful and plenty to eat. Dinner menu looked a little pricey but lunch was an excellent value. I will be eating here again soon. I’ve read several uncomplimentary reviews about the service. Our waitress was good to refill drinks and our soup & salad came before we had even finished ordering. Sushi service was a little slow. It came while they were cooking the food on the grill but I’m okay with that.

Not happy with this place :( Cons: 1. Place smell really bad when we walked in 2. Service was not up to par — we were greeted upon walking up to the register, but the gentleman got distracted by a phone call. The least he could have done was tell the customer on the phone to hold and get someone to come seat us. As we were waiting to be seated, another customer walked in and out of nowhere, the hostess decides to come and great the customer and tried to seat her. I immediately stopped the hostess(apologized to the customer) … Told the hostess the WE are waiting to be seated. She responded with«oh, I thought you guys were waiting». Ummm… yes, we are waiting, …waiting to be seated! DUH!(hostess did apologize) but come on, if there are customers waiting, at least ask them if they have been helped. — our waitress … Oh my gosh! So slow! There was a review here that mention about their service being slow and man… it’s true! They were not even that busy and the waitress seems to be taking her precious time. Lets just say, my second order of sushi, sat on the counter for awhile. I glanced over several time and it was still sitting there patiently … Lol. No Bueno!!! 3. Table and chairs are VERY slippery, not sturdy at all! If you have kids, you need to be very careful. I had to secure my son’s chair with my feet, so that he would not fall off. Pros: Food — what we ordered — 2 lunch shrimp tempura — was pretty good. Can’t say much about the soup and salad. — some sushi roll(soft shell crab with eel and crab) it was good Would I recommend this place? I really don’t know. You can have the best of food, but with service that horrible, it makes u second your decision to come back.
