Great little Italian place to stop. Found this place on here when looking for somewhere to eat for lunch on my way through with the fam. Totally didn’t disappoint. Not much to look at but the food is absolutely amazing.

Went this for the first time. They have done a great job on the inside, the place really looks nice. We started with the calamari. The batter was good but it was a little over done so it was somewhat dry. Well seasoned, very crunchy, but dry. Entrée, my wife hade the tortellini. It was really tasty, good gravy/sauce. I had the«Giovani special» pizza. The pizza was really good. Thin crust, good amount of toppings. The place is clean, the service was personable and attentive. We will go back in the future.

BESTITALIANFOODIVEEVERHAD! There Alfredo sauce is amazing, and definitely the best I’ve had. It’s BYOB with no uncorking fee. The garlic bread is $ 2 and the bread is homemade and they give you the entire loaf cut in half. Everything here is good.

Visiting from San Antonio, my sister lives here and raved about this place. And I must say Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! Awesome customer service, super fast! Amazingly low prices for the quality. Jealous of those who live near this place. Hard to find a great place like this!

I’m going to start off by saying that I am quite the Italian cuisine fanatic. It’s always my first choice. So my husband and I tried this place for the first time last year, and I was blown away! The stuffed mushroom are to die for. They are always my favorite anywhere I go, but these are the best I’ve ever had. The pink sauce they put on top is so good. I actually like to get it on the tortellini as well. I almost always order the chicken Parmesan. And It’s so good that I have a hard time ordering anything else. My husband gets the lasagna and it’s very good as well. The house dressing for salads is great as well! The service is excellent! Mama and papa will make you a part of their family the minute you walk through the door. Overall a great place for a family dinner or a date night. Me & my husband moved out of the area about 6 months ago and we still drive the hour back to eat it. It’s definitely worth it!

This place is the BEST!!! The bread, Alfredo sauce, calzone, fradiablo, tiramisu, and everything else I’ve tried has been phenom-nom-nom! Every sauce is excellent. Every taste is balanced. It is SO perfect. Whether you need an Italian food fix, or a new fave, check out Giovanni’s for the most mouth-wateringly-amazing food. Period.

We were wanting fresh Italian food and Giovanni’s delivered. We had the manicotti, spaghetti and pizza. All dishes were fresh and delicious. This might seem out of the way and simple but is worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Good Italian place to go to. With good lunch specials but make sure you get there before 3:00 pm. I just there at little past 3:00 and just charge dinner prices. We have tried the pizza, Stromboli, pasta and lasagna and all have been great. The staff great group of ladies and the owner comes and chats with you, make sure everything good. The restaurant doesn’t look like much outside, since it was an old Whataburger. But, inside awesome, romantic, and great for groups, specially when you see City workers more than once there.

Why are the best Italian places in these tucked away locations? This is one of those restaurants. Been here twice and the food was as good as any 5 Star I’ve eaten at. We had, first trip, Chicken Piccata and Eggplant Parmigian Outstanding! Had takeout tonight — Stromboli and child’s spaghetti with meat sauce. Wonderful. Our NEW favorite. Oh, BYOB is nice too.

Tried a new place with my best friend. Loved that this place is byob first. Then the food and service was great. Try the stuffed mushrooms you will want to lick the plate. My friend had manicotti and it was good and cheesy. Mine was Chicken Primavera omg so good. The place is great.

If you want to try authentic delicious Italian food, this is the place. Food was delicious. We started our dinner with fried calamari. For the main entrée I ordered chicken Alfredo and my boyfriend ordered the trio pasta. The chicken Alfredo wasn’t your typical Alfredo. The sauce was creamy and cheesy. Flavor was out of this world! I couldn’t stop dipping my bread on the Alfredo sauce. My boyfriend’s plate, the trio pasta, was also delicious. His dish had manicotti, baked ziti and lasagna. The marinara sauce had a unique home style flavor. The food was not only the good thing, but the service as well. This place seems family owned, and everyone was so friendly. They made sure everything was well and the food came out promptly. I’m definitely coming back to this place, I can’t wait to try other things in their menu.

Amazing pizza! You can really tell that this family owned business sticks to tried and true recipes. This is a must go to place for pizza and Italian food! The restaurant has plenty of tables to accommodate a large party. It is not as small as previous reviews describe!

The service was great. Felt like family. Will be back again. The food was even better than the service. Don’t change. Chicken piccata with veggies and tiramisu. Great meal.

We ordered chicken Marsala, chicken and veggies and the garlic cheese bread. We returned all the food, but I gave them a nice tip this time. Once again, you Unilocalers have failed me. I don’t pay for services that I do not enjoy, especially if the food is nearly inedible. My noodles kind of tasted like dirt, and the overall quality of both our meals, wow. You are better off cooking at home. Very nice people, meals not so much. The waitress said they are most popular for their pizza, the pizza looked good, didn’t try it.

Ate here and was ridiculously satisfied. The sauce in the chicken Alfredo was heavy and rich. It was then I knew that I was amongst the true Italians. The customer service is awesome and the food will not disappoint. If you want a taste of Italy then come here. You’ll get what you want.
