Garbos is MY salon! Can you say spoiled? I have been a customer of Garbos /​Mehnaz/​Thomas for MaNY years. They totally rock! John runs the place but makes the patrons feel like we matter. Truly adore these folks.

If I was to review Garbo’s the first time I ever stepped foot in the door it would not be a positive review! I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged for over 10 minutes. A few times a stylist would look up at me and smile, but no one asked if I needed assistance at all. Needless to say I left and spent my money elsewhere!
A few months later my hair was looking shabby and I needed to get a wuick fix. I was right down the road from Garbo’s and thought I should give them another shot. I called and the owner John answered the phone and was very polite. He went out of his way to set an appointment for me later that same day.
This time I walked in and was greeted by John! He is just as friendly in person as he was over the phone. I ended up getting a cut, color and style. The stylist was very exuberant and did not force me to follow the styles she was suggesting. Which is highly annoying! My hair looked amazing not only when I walked out of the door, but weeks later. I will be going back… actually that reminds me– I need to call them to schedule an appointment right now!

Great place! The owner does the booking & keeps a very nice looking salon. Friendly staff. Great new massage therapist there by the name of Callie Smith. Also plenty of parking behind the building with an entrance into the salon, to avoid backing out onto Camp Bowie. This place has it all!
