So since I’m fairly new in Texas i wasn’t accustomed to the whole queso on everything texmex thing. I’ve seen the light. I now smother everything including quesadillas lol. Food was good and cheap, especially for the size of the burritos.

Fuzzy’s is quite possibly my favorite restaurant ever. This location in particular. When I came back from spending five weeks in Spain my parents asked what I wanted to eat. My response: Fuzzy’s nachos and a margarita. So my entire family brought me here and it was awesome. This is the original Fuzzy’s and it is tiny. On football game nights it gets really packed and my friends and I have even shared a table with strangers. You gotta get in where you fit in. There’s parking across the street behind 7 – 11 or you can brave street parking if you dare(beware no parking zones because they will tow your car). The most important fact about Fuzzy’s is their food. They are definitely Tex Mex and not real Mex but it’s so good. My personal favorite is their beef nachos, chips and queso, or their tacos. The ground beef is my favorite but their shrimp tempura is pretty good as well. This Fuzzy’s is extra special because they have purple margaritas. Say what? Well, they are basically on TCU’s campus and it only makes sense. Several Unilocalers have commented on the customer service. I’ve been patronizing this business for over 7 years and have yet to have a negative experience. Everyone who works here is nice, even when they card me(despite being closer to 30 than 20… but I digress). If you want some real, authentic Fuzzy’s, this is the spot. The others are nice but none can compare to the original Fuzzy’s.

I like Fuzzy’s because it started in Fort Worth. But food wise I would say it is very average.

Pretty decent food, employees are nice, would rate higher but for two issues: Men’s room only accommodates one person. Really should be two. Can’t substitute garnishes, even if they cost the same. I hate sour cream, but I get charged if I want jalapenos instead? This is crazy.

The food is incredibly cheap. The beer is incredibly cheap. The interior and booths are cheap. Fuzzy’s is a fair option if you’re in a rush and want bland, flavorless Mexican food. I usually get a salad and the meat always comes at a different temperature(sometimes hot off the grill, sometimes cold as the salad) but it always comes with very little flavor. Go here if you’re looking for a cheap meal or looking for a casual quick bite.

Fuzzy’s is a great taco shop. I love their grilled fish soft tacos. I love the sauce they put on them with the cilantro. Their queso is also tasty and they sprinkle a nice little brown spice on their tortilla chips. My boyfriend also loves their chicken quesadilla and he refuses to get anything else. Fuzzy’s has great breakfast food that they serve all day. One that I really like is the Big Fuzz which has nice bread with two fried eggs, bacon pieces, cheese, and jalapenos. That dish comes with potatoes which are not always consistent in their taste. Why do I not give Fuzzy’s 4 stars? Because once I saw mold in the ice dispenser of the soda machine. But they did clean it up as soon as I told them. Another reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because I am not always extremely satisfied with the taste of the food. For example, one time I tried the Californian taco and it was great, the next time and the last time I ordered it, it lacked taste and the bacon bits were all fat and no meat. I’ve found that the chicken quesadilla and the big fuzz are the most consistently well cooked items that I’ve tried and would recommend others to try them!

This restaurant is the worst establishment. Lady would not serve me a drink and said I was inebriated although I’m the sober driver. Completely rediculous and no one should ever come here

If you enjoy getting your REALTEXASDRIVERSLICENSE rejected and nearly confiscated, then this is the place for you. I understand being leery about fakes, but when your ID reader is broken, you don’t blame(and certainly not YELL at) your customers. Never going to this place again. Their management and service were the worst I’ve ever experienced.

This is a great little dive with a great egg, bacon, potato and cheese breakfast taco. The guacamole is excellent and I always ask for extra seasoning on the chips!

Love Fuzzy’s but not this location. Not very customer service oriented and can hear the kitchen staff talking. More than once cussing out loud and not professional. Will continue going to Fuzzy’s but not this location.

This is the original location of Fuzzy’s. The staff is not overly friendly, but they get the job done. We had the breakfast tacos, and 1 was almost enough for a meal, 2 was plenty to leave filled. At $ 2 a pop the bacon, cheese and egg is a great option. For lunch and dinner there are a lot more choices, including salads and sandwiches. Fuzzy’s has cold beer served in the traditional texas schooners for a reasonable price. It is always funny to see all the people drinking at 8−9am, which of course is 95% night shift workers, heavy on medical professionals.

The original Fuzzy’s Tacos. Great service cheap beer. The staff is always helpful and fast. Did I mention cheap beer. Only complaint I would have not a huge selection of local brew. But food is great the burritos look a lot bigger than the one I go to in Dallas.

Really good tacos — had the shrimp tempura taco, shredded pork and ground beef. All were very good. Love the but burning hot sauce on the table as well. Service was fairly quick and easy

Fuzzy’s tacos are both delicious and cheap — a college student’s dream. My personal favorites are the shredded beef and spicy pork tacos, but the salads are also delicious. I keep telling myself that I’ll try the sandwiches one day, but I’m too addicted to the tacos! The breakfast tacos are also AMAZING — be sure to try the chorizo, potato, egg and cheese — it’s super filling and absolutely delicious. The margaritas are, in my opinion, meh. For $ 4 and the size of your head they’re begging to be bought, but every time I’ve gotten one, they’re usually too sweet and don’t seem to have much alcohol content to them. I know other people say they kick ass, but I’ve yet to have one. I guess I’ll just have to keep trying! At least they’re always very frozen.

$ 4 purple margarita that is the size of your face and WILL kick your ass? Yes please! Delicious delicious ground beef tacos with feta and just the right amount of sauce? I love this place. They’ve cleaned it up so much in the past 3 years. Now the ceilings are freshly painted. They have an actual painted menu instead of the scrawled chalk board I’m accustomed to. The bathrooms are still kinda sketchy with the don’t drink while pregnant sign. My favorite tacos in FW hands down. Their breakfast food is also pretty good.

I’ve been a fan of Fuzzy’s for many years now and it was the perfect place to stop in for a light late night bite. We were not too hungry but was craving Fuzzy’s awesome white queso. I had a ground beef taco, chips, queso, hot sauce and, of course, BEER. You gotta have beer when you stop in at Fuzzy’s. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The queso was perfect for the chilly evening. It was cool stopping in at the original Fuzzy’s where it all began. We were also lucky this evening, we pulled into a parking spot right beside the restaurant, way cool!

This has been my go to Fuzzy’s for years. Since it’s right by TCU, they stay open much later, allowing for after bar taco demolishing. When I worked close to this restaurant, we would place to go orders often and they came out right. It almost always going to be full of college students. I’m a big fan of the grilled shrimp salad and of course the queso. There’s a few locations in my vicinity, but I always gravitate to this one.

First time here and I ordered two crispy chicken tacos and shared chips and salsa, guacamole and queso dip with my girlfriend. I thought the tacos were just alright… Not much flavor to it and somewhat dry. I felt like I needed to add more things to make it taste better. I like my food to be able to stand alone without any condiments. The staff is extremely sweet but they really need to improve on their communication with each other. I asked for salsa but then they gave me something else. I had to walk back and forth multiple times to the counter because of such a mix up. Overall, okay taco joint to grab a bite to eat but I wouldn’t come here solely for the food.
