I have to travel here for work every other month and only stay at the Raddison Fort Worth. The staff gives great hospitality that a girl from LA really craves! Once in a while they will throw in a little bottle of wine when they know I am coming to town. I love the staff, especially Miriam! Thanks y’all. Lol

Wifi operates at 47 kpbs. Room smells like cigarettes.(Nonsmoking room). Road noise is there but not terrible. And as always the chair is to low at the desk to do work. I always have to put a pillow under my butt to sit high enough. A fairly miserable first world experience. Holiday Inn is right across the street. use it.

The entrance is really far away from the elevator so you have to haul your luggage across half of the hotel and guest rooms until you finally get to the elevator. Our room was at the end of the hall and on the corner and extremely small. A good corner of the room wasn’t there because the wall stopped short. There wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom, only a small one by the desk that filled up quickly. To top it off, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on. It was like sleeping on a fold out couch and it tilted horribly to one side which kept both my boyfriend and I awake most of the night. The sheets kept popping off all four corners of the bed which made the sheets bunch up around us. And the worst was the screech the bed made anytime you made the slightest move. I would NEVER stay here again and couldn’t wait to leave.

We’ve been here 30 minutes and are already on out third room. 314 stinks. 309 smells very musty. Oooo… the carpet is soaking wet under the AC. Last room they tried to cover up smell w chemicals. 2nd room smells of wet moldy carpet. 3rd room appears to be dry. Seriously, I’m ready to bolt for the Holiday Inn across the street. Only thing keeping me here is our baseball team is all staying here :(

I might have given them 3 stars had my room not been on the side of Meecham Blvd. What happens is the wall-mounted HVAC system is vented to the outside, so it’s like sleeping with a window open with all the street noise coming in. There are a lot of trucks on Meecham. The bathroom looked to be recently remodeled, but the TV by the desk was old and small. There was a fridge and microwave. This room had a Sleep Number bed. Wi fi was free but from my room horribly slow. I went to the lobby at 930pm to get an email out, and that worked with no problem. On the plus side, good lobby, bar and restaurant. Not feeling adventurous we ate both dinner and breakfast here and both meals were fine. I had the red snapper and it was not too bad for hotel food. The egg white omelet was excellent. the workout room has two treadmills(one not working), two stationary bikes and a mediocre elliptical. No free weights, but an area to stretch. Next time I’d likely try another hotel nearby.

This review will cover the banquet facilities and bar, as I did not stay overnight. The folks were in town for some cattle shows, and there was a banquet held at this hotel. I did check out the room, which looked very clean, and the furniture looked new, even though this building shows some age. The banquet facilities are nice, and I was very impressed with the staff. They served us a four-course dinner, to which I was late, and I still received a salad, an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The food was all very good as well. Like I said, this was a cattle-show banquet, so you had to have beef, and there was no other option. Works fine for me! After the banquet, it was time for the folks and me to have some wine. The bar of the hotel is a cut-away from the lobby area, so it is easy to see the large TV in the lobby from the bar, and I think the bar has some flat-screens, but I wasn’t really paying attention to that. There is also a dance-club behind the bar, but that is not really my scene, so I won’t review. I guess the proximity of the club, bar, and lobby could be kind of busy, but the sounds from one to the other didn’t seem to permeate too badly. Dad wanted to celebrate the award he received as a result of his cattle-breeding work with a cigar, which usually means I can be treated to a fine smoke as well. To accomplish this, we adjourned to the bench on the covered driveway for a drink and a smoke. Funny story: It turns out, this was not the best of ideas, because I got busted by the hotel security guard for drinking outside the hotel, which apparently is not permitted. I’m really not sure why they don’t allow it, as my folks were hotel guests, and I didn’t think we were breaking any laws, but apparently it is against policy. I made a big show of pouring out my wine, so the security guard would be distracted while the folks discreetly tucked their glasses away. Trust me, I wasn’t as smooth at this as I make it sound. Anyway, I handed my glass to the security guard, and there was no further trouble. I would definitely recommend holding an event at this facility, and I think I recommend travelers stay the night here as well.
