The only senior care community to deliver everything they promise! Staff truly loves what they do, residents are happy and cared for, and it is apparent that Silverado is the leader in the memory care industry. Kudos to Silverado for all you do!

Relatively new facility(2014) filling up fast. Silverado is a national provider of memory care facilities and their staff. They are built around the principal that memory care doesn’t need to look and feel like a hospital setting, and not doing so, puts the residents far more at ease with their surrounding The typical memory care facility features locked doors by «unit», with people at roughly the same stage of the disease housed together. Silverado only has one locked door in the whole facility, and that is the front door. This facility is shaped in a giant square, and residents at roughly the same disease stage are housed on one of the sides of the square in adjacent rooms. It is a mixture of private and 2 person rooms, as the philosophy is to have the residents interact with one another as much as possible. In the center of the square is a beautiful, large courtyard with a putting green, and lots of shaded seating. All the doors into the courtyard are unlocked, and residents can go in and out on their own. Same for the exterior doors, leading out to a fenced in path around the facility. Meals can be taken either in the main dining room, or one of the wing dining rooms depending on how the resident is feeling. The food is quite good, and family members are encouraged to stay and eat with their loved ones for free. The facility also helps plan and execute parties for residents and their families. They recently had a wonderful celebration of a 65 year wedding anniversary for my parents. Another unique feature of a Silverado is the house therapy dogs. The founders of Silverado believe the dogs bring a needed comfort for the residents. Residents are also allowed to have their own dogs if they are able to care for them, and the dogs are well socialized. This is a wonderful place with outstanding staff to help take care of your loved ones when this terrible disease strikes. Can’t say enough good stuff about it.
