I went in and actually got some really good help from a gentleman. I wanted A cheap electric guitar that I could use a new amp that I got. I went home plug in the guitar the guitar works fine but the amp is a bass amp. I called them to try and return the guitar that I bought literally 30 minutes before and they won’t allow me to do it I can only get store credit. Don’t want your credit I bought the guitar 30 minutes prior. I really just want to get my money back on a purchase that I made 30 minutes ago.

Wow. Unbelievably rude staff. Nothing like walking into a store where the only acknowledgement you receive is an angry glare. The rest of the visit just went downhill from there. No thank you.

I think this is a great store. Casual staff and knowledgeable musicians. Plus, it beats buying at big-box. I like to support local business. The place is packed to the gills with used equipment, which I love about it. They do sell new as well, but for me, used is where it’s at, and Zoo Music delivers! Reasonable prices and they give a fair store value when selling to them. Keep in mind, they are in business to make a profit, so don’t expect even-steven as that’d be illogical; but I do find their offers fair, and better than Guitar Center. Overall, a great place to do business!

Knowledgeable, talented and courteous staff. Best music store run by some of FWD’s(fort worth dallas) finest musicians.

Based on all of the things they have in this place for musicians, it seemed like a decent store. I wasn’t there to purchase anything but to get a little info on hopefully repairing a Studio Monitor and to look around a bit. Walked in, to a guy working there who had no intention on greeting us. Which is cool because I didn’t expect to nowadays simply because people are detached from each other. I ignore him and look around till I finally go up to the Counter to ask a guy eating Horrible Jack in the Box Tacos. «Ok Don’t expect much from this dude either» I say to myself as he hasn’t even acknowledged that I was in front of him which is cool because I took the time to fall back a bit to let him Shave a Year off of his life by swallowing that Filth taco. He finally utters«Hi» and I ask him about the monitor Repair. He uttered some shit that I didn’t mind to even review twice in my head because He obviously doesn’t feel like talking as he has Not even made eye contact with me, instead focusing on a computer or something and that Shit taco. I didn’t care to listen anymore as he hadn’t cared to acknowledge a probable customer after flinging me a Ridiculous price to fix my monitor. $ 120 a Bit more than what I paid for it. Even though it is out of warranty, that shits Last effort price for a Last effort store. I dipped and went to Competition Music where my 5 star review awaits.

Expensive! And semi-douchey employees. Not the biggest fan of the vibe in this place, either. Definitely metal and definitely jerky. The only reason I’d go here in the past was to jam out on their drum sets. Hah.
