I was excited to try Sweet Spot because a co-worker had raved about serving their cupcakes at a party several years ago. I went in twice and tried a couple of flavors each time, and both times the cupcakes were very dry. The top of the red velvet was hard and clearly overbaked. The people working there were very sweet but the quality wasn’t worth what I paid.

I’ve since returned and given them another chance. I’m upgrading my review based on a better experience. I tried Italian Cream and maybe my previous trip was a fluke but this time was much better. I’ll be back.

Prices doubled from when they were in Hurst. $ 75 for a quarter sheet cake??? Ummmm, I don’t think so unless it’s made of gold. After I decided there was no way I was paying double what I paid when it was creative memories, I bought a cupcake. It was rather dry. try sprinkles or small cakes.

Creative Memories! Why must you have moved far away from my home! This place has done several rounds of petit fours for baby showers i’ve thrown over the past 5 years. They’re delicious, and I could eat ten of them in one sitting. If I’m not mistaken they only come in a base color of white, but they’ve got a multitude of decorating options to choose from –so just ask to see their sample books! They’re very friendly, and been around for years. A business like this you know has a great product and great customer service! …They even did my wedding cake once upon a time!

Went here and ordered a cupcake and a cake pop. Super delicious and the presentation is very nice as well. Prices are standard for a bakery. Seating offered is also nice. Only thing is you could tell they were reprinting or doing renovations but other than that I definitely recommend this bakery, super delicious and well priced! They also do cakes for every occasion and the samples I saw were very well done.

Picked up my son’s Detroit Lions cake yesterday afternoon and it was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Sarah, the baker, is very skilled and put a lot of artwork into the cake. Let’s just say it was more than I could ever imagine she would do. Very impressed that I instantly sent photos to my family in Michigan and they said it was a very beautiful cake. Might I add, the fondant blue lions were a plus, and the theme of the Detroit Lions colors were perfectly displayed/captured throughout the cake. What I liked most is that I received exactly what I paid for. Part of being successful in a business is listening to your customers needs. Sarah has a passion for baking cakes, and she enlightens you with ideas of how you may possibly want the cake made. Not to mention, she is quick with her sketches that this cake consultation took under 10 minutes(definitely a «big picture» person). Drove nearly 40 minutes to this place from Arlington through all of the construction, but it was worth the drive. Other bakeries in my area did not seem to measure up to my standards, but The Sweet Spot Bakery just hit the spot for me. The owner is absolutely correct and stated, «The cake is an important centerpiece for the party.»

We’ve been clients of «The Sweet Spot» for years and always leave with something delicious to take home for the family. We just love the cake balls, they’re so decadent that one or two is all you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. My grandkids go crazy over the huge variety of yummy cupcakes. I will definitely be back! Keep up the good job and best wishes to the new owners.

Stopped in for an afternoon treat with my sister. I got the almond and Italian cream cupcakes. It was good but not the best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t blown away. The icing and filling was good. But they actually seemed a day or 2 old as the cake part wasn’t terribly moist. $ 6.39 for 2 cupcakes.

Best customer service. I have to come here often because it is the only place that has the«heavenly gluten free cupcakes» for my gluten free boss. The normal cupcakes that I have had are always delicious but the customer service by the person who I am assuming is the owner that is always there super early has made me loyal customer with her amazing personality and ability to make me feel important in the 5 minutes I visit with her.

Company out of business. Drove by today and they are not there. Company is no longer in business. The building is completely empty when I drove by Bedford Euless Road today.

Wow… not only did they more than double their prices when creative memories moved here… I received a personal attack on my fb page from one of their employees. McKenzie I believe. how incredibly unprofessional & petty! How about addressing your customers complaints instead of sending nasty messages. I highly suggest you avoid this business, there are better cakes, better prices & much more professional people!!!

The cupcakes were as bad as the customer service. There are too many cupcake shops to be underwhelmed.

First off let me say I have never had their cakes so I can’t comment on those. However, I have had their cupcakes and I have to say they were dry and nothing special. They looked great though. With that said the reason I give them a 4 out of 5 is for their cake balls. They are FREAKINGAWESOME!!! They are $ 10/tray of them and they are more that worth it! I give them for birthday and special occasions and have NEVER met anyone that didn’t LOVE them. I will drive out of the way to just purchase the cake balls.

The cakes are great and the service is even better. I live in California and we did everything via text and email. The owner is very nice and professional. Side note: they even helped pack the cakes in my car.

Always great cakes. We use them to get caked for graduation parties we have for our classes. Have used them for 5+ years and the cakes always turn out right and taste great.

The hardest thing about going on a diet is living so close to Sweet Spot. Their cupcakes are incredible, beautifully decorated, and perfectly priced. Their larger bakery items are also fantastic — they were able to accommodate a last minute order for me with no problem and at half the next-lowest price anyone else had given me. As if all that weren’t enough, their staff are always friendly and the shop itself is clean and well-decorated, a great place to retreat for a few sweet stolen moments when shopping gets a little overwhelming!

Delicious cupcakes! Wonderful favors… they are way more moist and tasty than Sprinkles Cupcakes in Dallas.

I stopped in and picked up 2 cupcakes for a treat for myself & husband this evening. There were a few people in the bakery earring their treats but it wasn’t busy. I waited 5 minutes for someone to come out from the back to wait on me. Once the young women appeared she was very helpful. I choose chocolate cupcake with chocolate butter cream icing and a vanilla cupcake with raspberry filling. They were $ 6 and change which is what I expected to pay. The cupcakes were good, defiantly better then the big box grocery story in the same plaza. I will be back to try more treats in the future.

My sister was looking for some cupcakes or something for the bridal shower she was throwing me. We were over in Heritage Trace shopping center running some errands and ran into this bakery. We popped in to see what they had and everything looked simply delicious! My sister ended up buying 2 dozen cake balls for $ 10 a dozen. I wish I had taken a picture of them. Each cake ball in the box was a different flavor. They were all so pretty! The next day at the bridal shower the platter of cake balls got passed around. There were enough for each person to have 2. Now I have had my fair share of cake balls, but these were so moist and creamy. I almost do not know how to explain it in words. They were the tastiest, best cake balls I have ever tasted! I would have eaten at least 5 more! I had the vanilla cake with vanilla icing and strawberry with white icing. All the women at the bridal shower were raving how delicious these cake balls were! I look forward to coming back here in the future and trying more of the bakery items and getting some more cake balls!

Was looking for a bakery to make my son’s cake, and was informed of their cake tasting option once a month at the end of the month. The lady serving me was generous with the portions and I brought home various flavors for my son to sample. Had I not tasted the flavors, I don’t think I would have placed an order for a cake to be made a few weeks later. This cake tasting was definitely a good marketing strategy from the owner. In any event, I came into the shop and was greeted by a young lady that had served me samples from the week prior. She was very courteous and accommodating. When I inquired about putting fondant on my cake, I was forwarded over to another young lady by the name of Sarah. Sarah was a dream to work with, and my son and our guests were delighted with the Spiderman Cake. This person took the time to get a grasp of how I wanted the cake to be made, and even made an additional fondant piece of the Statue of Liberty. When I called earlier in the week to check on the status of the cake, Sarah was so excited with all the work she had put into it. She was extremely patient as I was a first time customer, and kept me up to speed. The service was excellent, and our delicious cake is almost gone because my guests asked for a few pieces to go. It was a ½ sheet cake – one side White Chocolate with raspberry filling and the other side Chocolate with cream cheese icing.

Lots of focus on filling in cupcakes, which is what I believe leads to/led to overall less than moist cupcakes. Tried a little of everything. Chocolate covered marshmallows were chewy; «ding dongs» super sweet but probably what they were meant to be; red velvet cookies fine, filled cookie«pies» sweet and lacking flavor. Saving grace? Banana cream cupcakes moist and the petits fours were sweet and sugary as their expected to be.

Oh my gosh this bakery saved the day. After a very disappointing birthday dinner for my wife at a nearby restaurant, I saw this bakery open. The cupcake selection was good, with several chocolate varieties as well as some more unusual flavors. The lady was very friendly. And the cupcakes? Amazing! My favorite was the orange Popsicle flavor.

I found the bakery by searching online. The photos online looked great so I ordered a dozen cupcakes by phone. When I picked up the order it was not exactly what was ordered. The woman waiting on me corrected the issue right away. She was very nice and asked me if I wanted to try a cupcake while I waited. The finished product and packaging looked great! The cupcakes were okay. I would have liked it better if the cake was sweetened a little more. I paid $ 30 for a dozen. Wonderful presentation and service.

This bakery used to be amazing. New ownership has really ruined what used to be an enjoyable treat for my family. As well as lackluster cupcakes, the customer service is horrible and ownership has deleted all negative reviews and complaints on their Facebook page. The cupcakes are small, dry and overpriced. The flavors are underwhelming. The filing in them is minimal and the fact that management controls the feedback on these same complaints I made on social media sealed the deal. We will never return to this place, or their other location(creative memories) in Bedford, which we used and recommended on multiple occasions. If you need a specialty cake, check craigslist and ask your friends, you are bound to find much better quality and help much better people.

UPDATE9⁄30: From my prior five-star review, it breaks my heart to bring it down to three. New management has taken over and they have changed their icing. While the new cupcakes are good, this is a plea to SSB to bring back the old icing – at the very least, PLEASE just bring back the old Plain Janes! They were the best tasting cupcake ever. Now they are good, but just like every other good cupcake.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is the business that had the cupcake food truck at the Hurst Stars and Stripes this year. We got two cupcakes from the food truck and they were both fabulous. Moist and flavorful. I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while now and it is obviously time to go to the storefront and get some goodies.

Great cookies — Wonder Woman cake & petit fours. Extremely impressed with the overall order. Looking forward to another order of dipped strawberries.

I’m giving it four stars because the bakery was clean, the lady at the counter was friendly and the overall feel of the place was modern-cutesy. The cupcakes, however, were not my cup of tea. I can’t knock the place just based off my taste buds. The icing on the cupcakes was too thick and too sweet for me. I will probably go back to try something else that might suit my fancy.
