I attended the Color BUZZ run here in Phoenix just last week and it was by far one of the most COLORFUL events I’ve been too! My feet were sooo blue from the foam! Hah I also couldn’t believe how much money I saved by doing the VIP packet and getting all the glow goodies verse spending actually more at the store. I saw that Color BUZZ only had one other review and was filled with complaints that didn’t seem like a problem for anyone here in Phoenix. Maybe they had a bad one, because I would have never guessed that review was for the same company! THISEVENTWASDEFINITELYFILLEDWITHCOLOR, MUSIC, FUNANDLAUGHTER! CAN’T WAITTOGOAGAIN! Please come back to Phoenix!

I would like to give no stars. I will be reviewing this«color» run in all cities that they have an upcoming event to hopefully save some other poor soul the aggravation. This was billed as a «color» run where you«start in white, leave in multicolor». Well, we left as clean as we came. There was NO color. Let me start with the«VIP» zone. There was none. At the beginning of the race, the venue told several hundred people to go line up «VIPs first». This is when you realize you have to funnel several hundred people up one flight of stairs. With two teenage boy«security» guards overseeing the situation. Basically, they stood there. The«VIP» line dead ends, which then funnels BEHIND the regular line. I know I sound high maintenance here, but I paid for VIP, I expect it. I did it because I was supposedly getting a good deal and more goodies in a package. I should have gone to the dollar store, because I essentially received a few glow sticks. Now, on to the race. We began the walk. We are excited. We come to the first«area», which we assumed was the beginning of the«color». It was four small sprayers, 3 of which are non functioning. The one that did work, spurted WATER. Clear, water. No color. We moved on. We walked under some foam. Fun. We continued. We walk, and walk. And walk. There was One water station. Just past the half way point, we came to a large«tunnel» consisting of approximately 10 large overhead sprayers about 20 feet long. We think«yes, here we go!». Nope. They don’t work! And there is no attendant overseeing this area. Some of the«sprayers» are dripping. It was ridiculous watching everyone try to walk under one drip of… WATER. Again, NOCOLOR. At this point, we wanted to leave. But we pressed on. More foam. Oh boy. The very last area are bubbles. Colored bubbles that IF they hit you, may just leave the teeniest tiniest pin point of color! People were attempting to be attacked by these bubbles. There is actually an attendant here. Poor guy. Because he is attempted to control everyone trying to stick their hands in 4 small blowers as they try to salvage this disaster of a «color» run. At this point, we completed the walk and went directly to our car and drove the hour plus home. FALSEADVERTISING. UNSAFECONDITIONS. POORLYEXECUTED. And Surprise, Surprise, No response to my complaint given directly to the company.
