I just returned from an event catered by City Kitchen. The asparagus we absolutely the best I have ever eaten. Large scrumptious blackened shrimp, fried mac & cheese balls, tomato/mozzarella sandwiches, fruit bowls, brownies, cheesecake, cookies, on and on. Loved it. We are going back this week to try the restaurant for lunch. Close to downtown Fort Worth.

City Kitchen catered a party at our home for about 35 people last night. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. We had ordered a variety of appetizers, cheese and fruit as well as desserts. City Kitchen provided two servers to deliver, set up, serve and clean up. They showed up on time, set up beautifully and provided wonderful service throughout the evening. Oh, and the food, nothing short of amazing. For the first time in my experience, every bite was gone. Our guest loved the food as did we. Without hesitation, I can honestly say that this was the best catering experience we have ever enjoyed. In summary, great food, great service, fair price and all done in a very professional manner. Hats off to City Kitchen. We will be doing business with you again soon.

Affordable and tasty sandwiches! This is my go to spot when I want to grab lunch close to school. Portion size is huge, food is good and price is pretty cheap! They also make the food super quick so I never have to wait long. The location is kind of strange though.

Affordable and tasty sandwiches/food! This is my go to spot when I want to grab lunch close to school. Portion is huge, food is decent and price is affordable! My favorite is the chicken panini with avocado, sautéed onion, mayo, lettuce and tomato! The bbq house chips are great also. Burgers here are decent as well. Not crazy about the turkey burger though; the party looked so artificial. They also make the food super quick so I never have to wait long.

Hidden gem inside industrial park. They have a different lunch special every day. I also love all their soups and sandwiches. I’ve been eating here for years and never tire of it. Highly recommended if you work around the area. It is rather hard to find if you don’t know what you are looking for, but don’t let that scare you off.

Once you finally find this hidden jewel you will be so glad you did. Yes it’s in a full fledge warehouse district. Yes it’s a catering business with a café going as they conduct catering business functions. However it’s all good. Fresh, fine catered food indeed. I had the hero sandwich with the homemade BBQ chips and for dessert two decadent chocolate fudge cookies with white chocolate chips. Got the brownie and oatmeal raisin cookie for later. Ha! FOODHEAVEN!!! The server is one of the chef staff from behind the scenes so if you are bent on be catered to hand and foot then don’t go looking for that. Yes you get good service but they are running a catering business first and we get to enjoy some of the good food fare at a luxury on site so keep that in mind. Hands down EXCELLENT!!! When I’m in Fort Worth I will bring everyone to my hidden gem!!! Now back to my cookies and brownie! Yummmm!!!

WOW. Just wow. Heard about City Kitchen from some neighborhood folks. Has been in the ‘to do’ lunch list for weeks. The chicken tortilla soup had a deep, complex, not too spicy broth that was slightly thickened, not runny clear like so many. When my entrée arrived, I took my first bite from the green bean/carrot medley. Ever have one of those food moments when flavor just goes ‘boom’ in your mouth? There was a unexplained smokiness to them, but no char. The waitress wasn’t letting me in on the secret either, in spite of my begging. And so went the rest of my meal. Hubby wasn’t overly impressed with his City Hero sandwich and wished he’d ordered the special or a burger. But no matter, the bite of green beans and carrots I was willing to share made up for the shortfall and we both gave City Kitchen a ‘Thumbs Up’ and will add it to the lunch rotation.

I almost didn’t want to post a review to keep this a hidden secret. We had the pulled pork which was the best pulled pork I have ever tried. The soups were delish and the dessert was excellent.

Industrial setting hides the culinary gem of City Kitchen. Worth the trek to get there! These local renowned caterers have unbelievable food that make up for the plain Jane lackluster interior. My husband and I both had the delightful pesto chicken, hand cut and hand made mashed potatoes and grilled veggies — we ate every bite and wished for more(and we are not heavy eaters). Mouth watering cookies — 2 each, mine chocolate chip and white chocolate and his oatmeal raisin and sugar — were as tasty as the meal — I can’t wait to go back!

Ready for a food adventure? Cause I’ve got one for you. So I’ve been hearing about this place from a fellow co-worker and it sounded so crazy I had to go check it out. Ok, before I go further with the review let me give you two facts you will need to make your decision about this place. First, this fine restaurant is located in a old business park off the beaten path(and I mean beaten). I thought I was on some wild goose chase(or looking for the elusive Snipe) when trying to find this place. I’ll try to make it easier for you to find, when you enter the business park, it’s the first building on the right(go all the way to the end).(P.S. look at the satellite mode on the map — I put the marker right on top of it) And, keep in mind that this is a caterer first and a café second. You are going to get plastic ware, and the server(though polite and helpful) is probably one of the staff stuck with doing that duty for the day. So you may have to get their attention from the kitchen, and you might not see your server for long periods of time — the server I had kept retreating to the back. Now that’s out of the way, let me explain the food. Fantastic! This was top-notch fine catered like food from a distinguished chef’s menu(and apparently award winning considering all the trophies). No wonder so many cops and medical professionals stop in here. I had the Special which was the Pesto Chicken(see pic) with Orzo and Asparagus(which came with the choice of soup or salad — I chose the Caesar Salad). Everything was cooked perfectly and even though I hate sun-dried tomatoes –from past experiences– I really enjoyed eating theirs. And the cookie… oh my… just look at the pic. Yes, it’s as delicious as it looks(I need to see if I can order those by the dozen). But why 5 stars if I just got great food and ok service? The wall of thank you letters. Besides catering for local city functions and weddings, they also cater to a ton of non-profit organizations and local schools. And that’s why they get 5 stars from me(I can deal with mediocre service). So if you are able to make the hours(they are only open Mon — Fri 11AM to 2PM) then I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I will surely be back there for more myself.
