As another reviewer said: a real low brow joint. Quite an understatement actually. It’s just outright seedy. Dirty everything, everywhere. DJ chose to play obscure, crap music that pretty much kept that big dance floor empty. Sure hope the DJ had a nice time because no one else did. DO NOT venture into that parking lot alone ! If you’re looking for a gay bar to have a good time at, this IS NOT the place.

What a terrible place, everything from the dirty and very small bathrooms to the rude management was a turn off. The bartenders were nice, and serving as quickly as they could, but this establishment is clearly understaffed. When I mentioned to the manager that he may want to have a few extra bartenders on a busy Saturday night he claimed not to have time for this ****, and proceeded to lean against the bar and do absolutely nothing. Maybe with a revamp and new management this could be a regular hangout, but certainly not as it is now.

Best Friends is a real low-brow gay bar. I love it there. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the crowd is super friendly. On Friday nights, you can get buckets of beer really cheap. This enables you to not only look festive carrying a bucket of beer, but offer beers to anyone hot you might want to make out with. Speaking of making out, I found out that you’re not allowed to make out in the ladies’ room stall with your bras slung over the stall door. The bartender says «That’s how toilets get broken,» whatever that means. So go on over there and drink some beer, but keep your bras on. If anything embarrassing happens, you can start referring to it as «Worst Enemies,» as I did several hundred visits ago. See you there.
