Applebee’s

It’s been years since I’ve been to Applebee’s and recently received a gift card so, why not? They allow smoking inside this location, that’s why not! The bar is located in the middle of the restaurant. As you can imagine, the stank smell of cigarettes can be enjoyed :-/​throughout the whole restaurant. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! Definitely not family-​friendly. Omg, I saw a baby in the restaurant. Why, parents, why did you not walk right back out the door? Service was fair. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was efficient and friendly enough. The food was ok. They don’t have their veggie sides listed on the menu. Weird. I ordered my steak medium but it was more medium well. I didn’t want to take it back because I was starving and just wanted to get the heck out of there and save my lungs!

Greeted at the door, the atmosphere was warm and cheerful! Our server was funny and helpful. Clean and smells good great atmosphere! !!

Why do they still have smoking??? It’s gross!!! Who wants to sit in smoke and eat? Even the Waffle House across the street is non smoking. GROSS!!! Will never be back… Didn’t even try the food because the smell of smoke knocks you out when you enter the building. Any reputable restaurant is non smoking… Get with the times!

I don’t even know where to begin. I ordered a blue moon and the American Classic burger with grilled onions cook medium well. After almost thirty minutes and finishing my beer the burger finally arrived. It had about three cups of raw onion on the burger! Three cups, I kid not. As I was scraping some of the onions off the waitress named lacy said «you wanted onions on it and you got onions.» Yeah I got a lot of onion, but I got a total of nine fries and a burger so small it would be a whata junior at whataburger. So I left with a bill of 35 dollars and still hungry.

Well i try not to eat at main stream places cuz it usually crap food… well i was not disappointed… applebees is the same crap food like usual. Service is mediocre. I ordered the chicken and shrimp with roasted red potatoes and onions and mushrooms. Well first off the potatoes were scarce and over cooked. The mushrooms were like 3 maybe that i found. And usually most mainstream places add too much onions not here it was like everything else hardly any. As for the chicken and shrimp it was waaaaayyyy to salty. One part of good food is that you dont have to hide it behind salty seasonings if you know how to cook food. I understand im not going to a chef place but damn make the food halfway decent. And for the price ot wasn’t worth it… so after my hard day at work of a 13 hour work day trying to relax it was not relaxing!

Never again… This place is ridiculous. The new brisket nachos were a huge disappointment. They are served cold. They did not inform us that they are cold. It does not say that in the description. The nachos did not have even one ounce of brisket, a DRIZZLE of queso, and lightly sprinkled with tomatoes. Oh and did I mention for $ 10? Yay I love paying that much for some plain chips. When we asked if we could get some queso to dip our plate of dry chips in, they brought us a small ramekin of cold queso. You know how cold queso is… Not very ideal for dipping.
They served us the saltiest food I have ever experienced. We sent back our meals after 3 bites and got the check. The check was for full cost despite the numerous complaints. That is rare for us, we NEVER send back our food. We are good eaters… Lol.

Awesome service our waiters Lindsay was on point. We had a large group but that did not phase her she was more than happy to help. Great service good food cheap beer. Love the Cheers type atmosphere with the regulars.

My wife and went on a Wednesday. It was a cold, rainy day and neither of us wanted to travel far or for that matter cook. Wednesday’s are all you cook eat wings and half price bottled wine. I would have spent double at Hooters.
The staff was awesome and the manager even better. My wife likes the flats of the wings, not the drumettes. The waitress asked the manager and he said, «No problem.» The wings were very good and the fries, unlike Hooters, were hot and crispy. The first order has between 15 and 20 wings. So they are very generous. I wanted to try a different sauce. The next order, about seven or eight of them, were placed early by the waitress so we wouldn’t have to wait.
Overall, a good value and great service. I’ll go again.

Well I give it a four is because the server came to us right away and was polite. I also really give it to her is because I ask how long the ribs will be since I having to go she give me the estimate time of when is the best time to order and I told her you make the call on it. She knows her menu.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! I felt like I was eating at Chuck E Cheese. There was kid in the bar area that was running back and forth and yelling! I asked for the manager and he had the nerve to ask me if I had kids of my own. I told him that yes I do and I would never, ever like them act like that. He said he wasn’t sure what he should do and I said, «you’re the manager aren’t you». COMPLETE NONSENSE!!! Get a manager over the age of 22 please who knows how to manage his employees and please his customers!!!

Service was pretty good, the waitress kept our tea glasses full and was very attentive.
Overpriced for what you get I had a salad and a tea it was $ 14 the salad was not that great.
I will not be ordering any of their salads again

Love it. It’s one of my favorite places to come eat.. I recommend the chips and queso blanco.

Not bad food, french fries are great. Service okay.

Loretta iis the cutest bartender in Lake Worth, and sweet too.

The food at this Applebee’s is pretty good and it’s a great location for me and my girlfriend due to the proximity of our home; however, I was disappointed that this Applebee’s has smoking and I find it hard to enjoy my food when others are smoking around me and it’s getting in my face and my food. My burger was pretty good as burgers are really hard to mess up but my girlfriends fettuccine wasn’t very good and she had to take it back. We got a little bit of pushback from the waiter but ultimately they took care of it. I probably won’t be returning to this location.

Greeter was very friendly, server helpful, friendly, checked on us frequently. food came out and my dinner partner got the ribs with the southern sauce. she mentioned to waitress that she didn’t care for it and the manager offered us free dessert and when we declined that he gave us a $ 5.00 gift card. Then he came by and talked with us. My steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back again.

We go here about every 6 months because the food is decent but the service is hit or miss. Tonight was no exception. I finally had to track down our waitress for some extra napkins over half way thru the meal and by meals end she still had not refilled one of my dining parter’s coffee from the first cup. They were not real busy so she had plenty if time to provide better service.

Smells of cigarette smoke pretty bad. Waiter was young and pretty inexperienced. I will probably never go back to that Applebee’s.

Had the endless soup and salad, very good! Server was really good, cheerful and energetic young lady. We will go back again!
