This place was a really nice experience. Food was good. We sat outside which was nice. Service was good. Coffee was good! Zero complaints.

Friendly fox is the only restaurant within walking distance from my job making it an obvious choice, however if it was on the other side of town I would still make the drive. You can’t go wrong with any of their salads, sandwiches, or desserts. Also, the key lime pie is a must try. Even though the food and coffee is delicious(always try the monthly special) my absolute favorite thing about the Friendly Fox is their dog friendly patio!

Great little café ! Interesting change from the run of the mill sandwich fare. Had the egg roll appetizer & they were outstanding. The brisket & «Friendly Fox» sandwich were both off the chain. Love the different condiments & better cheeses offered on fresh baked bread. Desserts from scratch. All was excellent. Great food & service in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, highly recommend.

I am new to the area. I am so glad I found this little treasure in my neighborhood. This is going to be my new favorite hang out. Great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. I had the Cali wrap. It was tasty. The Salted Carmel Latte was yummy! I am looking forward to my next visit.

What a cute little café! I’m so glad there I’ve found a local business to support rather than going to the«other place». Atmosphere was laid back and feels like it’s a neighborhood shop. They have indoor and outdoor(in the summer) seating. Parking is limited if you have to drive here. I didn’t ask but the dog treats on the counter is a good indication that they are dog friendly. Another plus in my book! I ordered a BLT and a snicker doodle cookie to go. The BLT was really good. It came with pickles and chips. The cookie was too hard for my taste, as I prefer soft cookies. I will definitely be supporting this local business in the future.

I adore this little spot! My husband and I go there frequently and I am never disappointed. Wait, not true. I am often disappointed that there are no window seats available! I love those bright, sunny spots and so does everyone else! Understandable. As for the food, their hummus is some of the best I’ve ever had. Their chicken lettuce wraps with peanut sauce are super yummy and the veggie wrap is also excellent. Homemade soups are top-notch. My sons are big fans of the piggy wiggy sandwich. Staff is super friendly. Now if I can just talk them into taking reservations for those window seats!

What a surprise to find this little gem in a residential neighborhood. The key lime pie is the best we’ve had in years! My granddaughter tried the French macaroons and said they were great too. Oh and did I mention homemade ice cream in luscious flavors?

I’ve yet to try something I didn’t like. From the fresh made quiche to the panini sandwiches, soups, house made ice cream, scones, and brownies of insane sizes, I’ve loved it all. I dont drink coffee, but have tried a couple of the specialty blends and enjoyed those as well. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. The menu changes with the seasons and it great to see what they come up with. Family friendly with live music occasionally. Outdoor seating that is dog friendly. Love this place.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast after a morning workout with a good friend. We were both greeted immediately and our order was taken. I ordered a house coffee(black, of course) and a slice of chorizo and jalapeño quiche which was delicious! Great food and amazing customer service in a relaxed atmosphere!

The Friendly Fox is a super cool spot nestled into the Southwood Park Neighborhood. A great, walkable café for everyone in their hood. It is literally in the middle of residential housing but don’t worry it is hard to miss. Nice little outdoor patio– dog friendly. I have enjoyed a casual lunch with a friend outside and received great service. Sometimes outdoor seating is neglected on accident by servers so it was nice to be taken care of so well. More recently I enjoyed a snickers latte while waiting for a few friends to arrive. I asked my server to whip me up something random and I was definitely not disappointed! Who doesn’t want to drink a liquid candy bar?! My friends were running behind schedule, so I was hanging out on my laptop for about 1.5 hours until they arrived. The servers didn’t seem to mind at all that I was taking up a table during lunch hour. Once they arrived we ordered some lunch. I went for the buffalo chicken wrap. YUM. This wrap was spicy but I was still tasting all the other flavor going on. My friend enjoyed a flavored tea and he loved it. With him being from the South I figured it must’ve been the real deal. Overall The Friendly Fox is a great little café, great service, great atmosphere. If I lived in the Southwood Park neighborhood this would definitely be my spot.

We had a wonderful evening at Friendly Fox. The restaurant is in an older building with a great welcoming ambiance. We went for drinks and appetizers. There was even live music playing which was a nice addition to our evening. We had a nice spicy and bacon black bean flatbread, lettuce wraps and egg rolls. All were delicious, our favorite being the lettuce wraps. We enjoyed delicious chocolate raspberry macarons for dessert. The only complaint is that they were out of a few beers and food items. I look forward to going back to try some of their coffee and breakfast items.

I’ve eaten here twice before. The selection is varied and unique. They offer homemade gluten free bread as a substitute for their usual bread. I haven’t had issues before, but after my meal today I’m positive my meal was contaminated with gluten. Having Celiac Disease, this is a big disappointment seeing as my meal made me ill. Defiantly worth a stop if you don’t have dining restrictions. Wouldn’t recommend for those with.

We went for chai during a blistery morning. The service was super friendly and customer-oriented. The chai is made in house. Will go back to try the rest of the menu!

Great local café with great food, great service and on the weekends some great local music as well. The prices for the homemade food and dessert selections are affordable and the staff is friendly and happy to serve. They are also accommodating for substitutions and welcome feedback. Their email alerts and specials come regularly as well.

When you think of your small neighborhood café just outside of the city, you’re pretty much envisioning The Friendly Fox. Nestled in the historic southside area of Fort Wayne, this is truly a gem. The menu is creative and flavorful and they are almost always cooking up something new(ask for daily specials). The beer and wine list is impressive as far as a little something for everyone goes. Did I mention dessert? The fact that they make their own ice cream should right away tell you its a meal component not taken lightly. With outdoor seating available in the summer months and live music throughout the week, this place is sure to be on my list of Fort Wayne’s most impressive foodie havens for years to come.

Always great service, this small neighborhood café is one of my favorite spots. Their specials are always on point, and desserts are made in house and are killer good. The egg rolls are my favorite appetizer, try them! The fox salad and brisket panini are great orders as well. My only complaint is the meat to bread ratio on the paninis is not so good, and they don’t have a variety of breads for them. Add in the homemade ice cream, craft beers, and desserts this place is filled with guilty pleasures in the 46807 zip code.

The friendly fox is a great name for a coffee shop. Especially when it is in the middle of a neighborhood and bakes it’s own treats on site. I loved all the cute fox branding of everything. The building was brink with a nice big patio and the workers were all really nice. I didn’t have time to sit here and enjoy everything but I did pick up 30 pastries and enjoy them later. Parking is no issue here at all. THey are closed on Sunday though.
