Stone Computer

I have always been weary on buying parts online due to issues with hardware being dead etc or product being damaged in shipping. When I was ready to build a PC after 8 years of being out of the market I did a lot of research on the new hardware out today. I was over whelmed with everything new, but I did manage to learn before I made my purchases. I stumbled into stone computers after grocery shopping to see what they had. I was quite surprised to see everything from USB hubs to Intel i7 6700k’s. I had a long look around the store, forgetting absolutely everything I had retained from researching hardware. The employees asked me if I needed help and I just asked question after question making sure the parts I was looking at were right for what I needed.(gaming of course). The 2 employees didn’t get frustrated with me asking 1000 questions nor did they try to up sell me or make me feel obligated to buy anything. They were honestly just happy to help me out with information. I was on a budget and they helped me 110% to pick what was best for me in my price range. I ended up with an AMD A8 7600, 8Gb of RAM and a gigabyte micro atx motherboard. When I finally made my decision after about an hour of questions and thinking the employee installed my APU and the ram and posted it to make sure the hardware worked. I was in shock with the care and quality they provide to make sure they know I’m getting a 100% working product. The employees at stone computers gave me a good impression of a local friendly computer store that I know I can go to for anything and they will be more than happy to help. I just went in again last night to buy a new case and the same two employees helped me every step of the way to make sure I was getting a quality product. Stone computer rocks and I will always be coming back for hardware and or software upgrades. They make computer buying a joyous time, not an stressful one.

I’ve sat down to write out this review many times, but then I always put it off. Why? Because every time I sit down at my new PC from Stone Computers I just can’t wait to boot up my games and enjoy the awesomeness that is setting the graphics to ultra.
The guys at Stone Computers are friendly, helpful, and just pure awesome. I had a specific budget I needed to stay in, but I also wanted to be able to play everything on ultra high without any hiccups. (I know, I can be one of THOSE customers) But the very few employees, were able to help me get a PC that I am very pleased with. I did have one issue with it (not a service issue or defect or anything, just me being a difficult customer again) but they were quick to assist and got it back to me the next day!
I also had a friend bring in a laptop that they had had for a number of years. It’d been overheating and running very slowly, but it was a decent laptop that still had some life in it, so she figured Stone Computers could help her out. They did an amazing job and had a quick turn-​around and now happley uses the old laptop as it is significantly beefier.
Through my entire experience with Stone Computers. I couldn’t shake the feeling that they were sincerely interested in what was best for their customers and how they could meet their customers’ needs. If I ever need computer work done that I cannot do or just don’t want to do myself, I’ll be back!
