This is one of our early morning restaurant stops, so we eat here about twice a month. We do not return to places that give bad service or poor quality food. Not only do we eat here, my bride and I, but we also bring our 18 month old granddaughter. The waitresses always remember to bring her a small plate to share our food. I like the variety of food offered, even the healthy choices, which I have tried on occasion. My favorite choice is Chicken and Waffles. The Belgian Waffle is large, crispy on the outside, and warm and tender on the inside. Melted butter and a touch of syrup makes them wonderful. The four chicken breast strips are great, too. The meat is not too dry, nor is it greasy. I favor the Honey Mustard dip to round out this savory treat. I am a disabled veteran, after 20 years of service in the Air Force. I do not expect every business to offer military discounts. Also, I use the internet to check availability before I go to a new place. We will continue to keep Ihop on our list of early morning restaurant stops, and recommend everyone do so.

Asked for salad instead of soup. Gave me soup. Fine, minor mistake. But then there was a hair in my food. Nice.

Ok, so the food is good, but not the best I’ve had. The peppers were cold on my chicken sandwich that was supposed to have grilled peppers and onions. The tables around us were dirty for half of our meal and then the one busboy they have came to clean them. The restaurant was not the best up kept I’ve been too to put it politely. But again, the kids loved the food and mine was good all but the pepper incident. I’ve been here multiple times before, but this was not the best experience. The waitress was helpful and friendly, but the cleanliness and kitchen staff overshadowed her and brought the experience down a star. The waitresses had to ask the kitchen staff if they could speak and wait for him to say yes before they could ask a question or give input. I will go to the iHop on Washington from now on.

Good Food … Good Service … In desperate need of a remodel or tear down and rebuild.

Military discount does not apply for Veterans at this location because today’s Veterans haven’t done as much as current military. But I’m in my early 30’S, I will never eat there again.

When two huge groups of roller derby people show up at a tiny IHOP after 2 full days of derby and hangovers to match, we’re sometimes a challenging bunch. The kind staff at IHOP welcomed us with a smile and numerous cups of coffee. Even with our blood shot eyes, our huge appetites, and our loud banter, a good time was had by all(including the staff).

This might not be a fair review. If it was just based on my food, I would give it a 1 or 2 star, but I also consider my kids’ food and they ate up like champions. My mistake was getting chicken fingers and fries instead of pancakes. Truly, there was no flavor. No flavor at all. Lesson learned. If you are at IHOP, eat pancakes.
