Loved it. Very nice staff. Food quality is always great. Upgrading the front as it was very outdated. The inside could use a makeover

Hibachi chef had no personality, the food was swimming in grease and butter, sushi rolls were super tiny and the service was less than mediocre. I have been here twice wasn’t really impressed the first time but out of town guest wanted to try it, that was a mistake ugh my stomach hurts just thinking about it yuck.

First time here from Georgia for a vacation. Had such an enjoyable dinner. Prices are good for portion sizes. Had the yakisoba meal. Comes in a bento box which was a pleasant surprise because i was expecting just the noodles itself. But the extra sides are most welcomed! Waitress was pleasant and quick and informative. A+! Sister ordered the chicken teriyaki meal and she said teriyaki sauce was very good. So must try as well. Ordered a New York roll and it was hot and fresh! Just a delightful place to eat at.

Friendly service without long wait-times. We often grab sushi to-go in the evening when we need our sushi fix. It tastes very fresh. However, their lunch boxes are also fantastic. The hibachi dinner is good, too, but I prefer the lunch boxes(personal preference).

Was never a sushi fan till my mom got me to try some. This place is great. There dinner menu is a little expensive. But for sushi. Not bad. Very fresh. I will come back here again.

The waitress kept pushing for us to sit at the hibachi grill even though we kept saying a table is fine. When ordering she admitted that she didn’t know how to pronounce certain items on the menu. Once the food arrived, the sushi was good but wife’s hibachi chicken was dry. So overall not the best not the worst.

I have tried several sushi restaurants in the area, aiming to find the BEST sushi. But every time, I come back to Okinawa, because it is SOO good! I have dined in at least 4 times and ordered To-Go at least 3 times. This place has absolutely the best sushi, and their hibachi is excellent as well. If I had a bottomless wallet, I would eat here every day! Other great things — easy parking, beautiful decorating, and friendly and attentive staff. Nothing bad to say!

Second time eating here. First time in a few years. They have updated the front entrance since I last was there. First time doing the hibachi and it was very good. Would go again with the wife.

My husband and I both enjoyed our meals very much(steak and shrimp)! We had a blast at the hibachi table watching the chefs make our meals. The staff was friendly and on point. The food was flavorful and delicious! The chef was very entertaining and funny while making our food. We will definitely go back.

Had the hibachi grill food. The cook was entertaining but mumbled a lot so it was hard to get his jokes. The food was just ok, would not recommend getting the steak(it was not flavorful). Recommend ordering dressing on the side for the salad. The drink service was not that fast. Loved the ice cream dessert. I would try another hibachi grill if that is what you want.

I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so after our recent visit! The place has gone down, yet they charge high prices! The food that was prepared for my family made each one of our stomachs upset! In addition, the resteraunt is filthy!(They improved the outside, why not take the same care on the inside?)

Heard about this place from someone on base. Didn’t try the habachi but sushi and kitchen food wasn’t the greatest. Service was ok, waitress forgot or drink orders and got our beer about halfway through dinner. Not sure I will try this place again.

Ive been looking for some good sushi since I’ve moved back to FTW and this place is BYFAR, the BEST! We went in at almost closing but yet the staff was still so friendly and attentive. And the sushi… OMG! I consider myself a sushi snob, but they had the freshest and best tasting tuna nigiri I’ve ever had in my life!!! I wanted something a little different so I got their Japanese burrito, all i can say is… MYNEWFAVE! I can’t wait to go back! This place is now my GOTO for all things sushi!!!

The full hibachi experience, which is really nice. Plus I love the family style seating. The chef was really nice and we met some nice people. Its pricey, not really worth it for vegetarians, but it was really nice to get fried rice and noodles. Anyway, all in all, i’d go back, especially because the sushi looked fresh.

This place. Thwy have screwed us over on 3 separate occasions. There is no coming back from this last time. Their service is awful. They are rude. We got here before another group yest they were seated before us and offered menus and we were not. No clue why. Another time we made reservations for valentines day had a confirmation for 6 people we show up and it’s a 2 hr wait. These people just can’t get it right. It’s unfortunate because their food is sometimes tasty. They are so incredibly rude though. Inexcusable. Avoid this place like the plague!

The food is great. One big problem… I always feel rushed while I eating here. We arrived in time for lunch and apparently, they were about to close. They turned off the lights in all of the areas except our spot, shut off the music and put their coats on to leave.

3 ½ stars but my phone doesn’t let me do half stars. Let me just start by saying the food was NOT bad and this place WASN’T dirty. I got the chicken teriyaki box which comes with, you guessed it, teriyaki chicken as well as a soup, salad, 4 California rolls, 3 fried wonton type food(gyoza), a few pieces if vegetable tempura and fried rice which was hands down the best part of the combo. The main reason for the lack of stars was that when my wife and I ordered the soup, we didn’t know we had the option of choosing miso soup which comes with this type of lunch at almost every other similar restaurant I’ve ever been to, so I wasn’t a big fan of the house soup… get the miso soup. The other minor issue I had was that it ONLY included veggie tempura. Again, most similar restaurants I’ve been to offer a piece or two of shrimp tempura as well instead of only 3 pieces of veggie… I like to eat, what can I say?! Like I said, the food was good… not great, but better than average. I just wish I had known about the other substitutions I could’ve made and wish there was a little better mixture in the combo boxes as that is always what I get at hibachi type restaurants.

I ordered the teriyaki beef and the meat was tender. The rice cooked perfectly. The ambience of the place us typical of a family restaurant, but they have a small bar at the corner. Overall quite a good restaurant. Will come here again and try their sushis.

So I’ve been here a few times before and usually have good service for the most part. Came in while I was in town because we were craving sushi and this was the closest place. Greeted and seated… ehhh…not the most friendly of service there? Servers seemed kinda off/rude to us at first. Luckily a friend of ours works here and she came by to say hello and we immediately asked if she could take care of us which she said she would LOL. But I guess all of the servers share tables/tips because we had a few different servers come to our table to drop off food and refill drinks. Drinks and food came out fine, we didn’t have to wait obscenely long for it. They did get my friends’ sushi order wrong though(one of the rolls were wrong) so they had to wait for that. I ordered the Hawaiian roll and Fujiyama roll. Both were good, I didn’t feel that it was terrible like some of the other reviewers said. We did separate checks… they forgot to bring me my check. So I guess I could have walked out and not paid haha, but I told one of the servers when they came back to pick up the checks that I didn’t get mine. Ok experience.

I gotta laugh at the reviewers that came here and were expecting«authentic» Japanese food. There is nothing authentic about a teppanyaki(NOTHIBACHI, hibachi is a charcoal grill) restaurant. Either way, this place is quite nice. The decoration inside is reminiscent of the many traditional Japanese restaurants minus the taking off your shoes and the lack of chairs. The place was completely packed when we arrived and our service was prompt and courteous. Our food was nothing special, but it was good nonetheless. The sushi was pretty good… and when I say sushi, I mean Nigiri… I don’t know about the rolls. I tried the surf and turf and while expensive, it was great. I had a good experience and will come back.
