Island Princess Vacation Rental Resort

Have been coming here for 4 years over the Christmas/​New Year holiday and have also been here in February and March. It is quiet up until spring break. My parents own a condo (this the free rent) and they are here from mid-​December through the end of April. The horror story told in the other review is unfortunate and not usually the norm. Any reports to management should be welcomed and they have been good about keeping rules enforced. Heck, I went into the pool about 8:40 a.m. (It opens at 9) and was told about it by the maintenance supervisor. He didn’t make me get out but I did promise not to do it again. I know at spring break the police are out on the beach checking Id. With the large overflow of people at that time we all need to use our eyes and ears to help patrol the area and report to the resort inappropriate behavior. Hopefully the behaviors reported in the previous post won’t be repeated. We have seen people asked to leave if they don’t follow the rules.

I stayed here may 11−16^th. While the condo is nice, the people it attracts and tolerates are not. It was like a broke spring break crowd had came. While my Aunt and Uncle have been coming for 10 years and said it was a nice relaxing beach location, that was not my experience. Day one started with a drunk girl early in the afternoon harassing me. She was calling me names, like whale and fat b@$:ch. by the time the cop showed up he said he said it had been a long day and would just like everyone to go separate ways. Rather than arresting the drunk girl. The next day by 3 pm again someone was drunk and passed out in the corner of the pool area, while 2other girls were laying out. One was making several trips to the planters to puke. The following day people were again partying at the pool and playing loud music. The next day it was closed because at 10:30pm that night, someone pooped in it. The pool is how you get to the beach. Nice condos, but the crowd ruins it. I won’t be back. –2 stars for poor management of the safety of the people staying.
