We adopted our chihuahua/terrier mix in January and he has been a great addition to our family! A wonderful service the humane society provides is low cost vet supplies such as heart worm medicine and anti flea products. Much cheaper than the local vet. Please support our local Humane Society!

Stopped in today looking for a kitten or cat to add to our family. They have alot to choose from, however I will say the younger lady that showed us around was not very friendly. There are two that I’m looking to adopt. The adoption fees for cats is $ 75, for dogs it’s $ 90. That includes shots, microchip, spay/neuter.

I went here early in the morning when my puppy(Bitsy) wasn’t eating and they were not even open. They answered the door and saw that Bitsy meant a lot to me. They treated her before they were even open. Everyone inside were very professional and attentive to my situation. I am very sad to say that Bitsy did not survive the night. But it was not because of the dedicated people who work there. I received a phone call from them the next day. They were checking in with me about Bitsy. I notified them that I had to bury her and they were sympathetic. I was very satisfied with the attention I received during this tough situation. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me that they were there to help me out. Even though she is no longer with us, the staff at the Humane Society did everything they could and I am so appreciative that there are people like the employees in that building, in this world.
