Texas Roadhouse was one of our favorite places to go, until December 2 of last year. For my husbands birthday we took him to Texas Roadhouse for dinner he had, onion blossom, chili, stake and white potato. That nigh he go so sick that I took him to Doctor the next morning and he was hospitalized for food poisoning. I called the restaurant and was told someone would call me. A week later I called again and that time someone did call me back but after the first of the year. That time I was told the were sorry but corporate would be calling me, BUTSTILLWAITING!!!’

Poorly managed. Food is mediocre and takes way too long. Not to mention it is served on dirty plates. Staff turnover is insane, probably because of the awful, incompetent managers. The owner is a real piece of work and could use a few tips on how to treat customers. There are many different places to go to in Fort Myers, don’t waste your money here!

I’ve been a long time guest Huge fan of the atmosphere and I really am in love with steaks(& don’t get me started on those rolls!) However the past few times I’ve gone(including last night, they have been poorly run. I mean we ordered a Caesar salad and it arrived with just lettuce and cheese — they apparently ran out of croutons but didn’t inform us of that until later. They were out of chili when I ordered it as well. And when I received my steak(I ordered it medium) it was more than well done Very disappointed for a place that has my loyalty.

Not a fan of chain type restaurants, however, when I’m craving a filet mignon this is my spot. It’s always tender and cooked perfectly. I’ve always had decent and prompt service.

It was okay. Being from Texas, we really don’t use cinnamon in our butter for rolls. Give us good olé fashion butter and perhaps some honey or sourgum. Peanuts are more of a Georgia thing so not sure why there’s so many. In Texas we don’t line dance in our restaurants either. The food was okay but the seasoning on the steak was not something found in Texas restaurants or steak houses. I will admit that their ranch dressing was phenomenal.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. Went here for lunch on MLK day. I got a free appetizer, fries-cheese-bacon. Had 6 oz. sirloin, salad and green beans. I must say the fries were massive too much for one person. My salad cold, fresh and crispy. It was great. Green beans cooked with bacon, gotta love them. My sirloin steak med-rare. just fine. Chit chat… This place is only open 4– closing. The holidays it open for lunch. My favorite time. I have a couple of issues. One I was not allowed the 8.99 early bird special. It was before 6PM and it was not mention ANYWHERE on the menu that I could not get it. But I was denied it. Also with a e mail I was given a free appetizer. Only 3 choices. Why could I not get another appetizer not listed if I was willing to pay extra. I really wanted to try the jalapeño one. I would think being a regular client there be more clarifications and flexibility Over all not bad peanuts and good buns. Service was great.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is they are regularly WAY over staffed. I kid you not I counted at least 15 waiters. Our waitress said they only get 3 tables to work. That’s horrible! And ridiculous. The manager must not have any idea how to staff a restaurant. He’s losing tons of money putting everyone on the clock and the waiters are losing money by getting no tables to wait! HOW is that a good idea? I feel bad for the staff. That being said, best steaks in the area, amazing house-made bread with tasty cinnamon butter, and very friendly staff. I love Texas Roadhouse.

Eaten here many times. By far the best steakhouse in the area, puts Outback and Longhorn to shame. Though the wait can be long(should have made a bigger place), they do have call ahead seating. It’s not a reservation, but you will get seated sooner than if you didn’t call ahead. They have peanuts to eat while your waiting. When you are seated you get yummy fresh baked rolls with amazing butter. Service is always good, usually get our food quickly. Everything we have ever had is awesome. I lean to the ribeye while my husband actually likes the roadkill, smothered with mushrooms. Salads are great, as are all the sides. Nice décor, dancing wait staff, nice bar. What more do you need???

Food was great! Salad is fresh, ribs and steak perfect. Service was ok, inattentive waitress named Virginia. My wife asked to go there for her birthday. They promised to sing and give her free ice cream. The hostess even stopped by to wish her a happy birthday. NOSONG NOICECREAM Waitress never was informed. I informed 2 hostesses before being seated…

This is our«go to» place if we want a perfectly cooked delicious steak. One bit of advice; this place can get crowded and wait times quite long. They have a phone ahead reservation system available. Take advantage of it to avoid waiting too long. This is a very casual and family oriented place. It can also be a little loud, but it reminds me of a big old party every time I go. I’ve seen people of every age group enjoying themselves. When you are seated, you’re given the option of choosing your steak from a sort of butcher shop window, if you want to do that. Otherwise, you are led to your table and immediately given warm rolls and butter. Drink orders are filled quickly and I recommend the margaritas that come with a «kicker», a test tube of extra hootch for your drink. We have always ordered the bone in rib eye and it always comes out the way we order it. There are many sides to choose from. Their house salad is fresh with nary a sad shriveled piece of lettuce hidden away. I’ve also had their French fries with extra cheese and bacon on top. Sweet potatoes and baked potatoes are good, too. I’m unable to report on the deserts because we’ve never had room for them. The waitstaff is always attentive and friendly. You really can’t go wrong with dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

This is a family favorite! We come all the time, with family and friends. Grilled shrimp and steak is the best along with those green beans! Don’t forget the bread with cinnamon butter !

Wife and I stopped in on a Monday night. Both ordered steaks, her a Prime Rib, me a Top Sirloin and both were excellent. We both like mid rare and many restaurants can’t accomplish that due to very thin steak. Broccoli was not too good, it looked like it was prepped a couple days ago and taste like it to. Better ask if it is fresh when ordering. Salads were fine and yeast rolls… well you know, they were great. Fresh brewed tea. Service was good, all seemed eagar to please. It was a high value experience as price was $ 45 with tio. I have paid much more for steak that was not that good. They would have received a 5 if someone bothered to make sure broccoli was fresh.

Stopped here for dinner with a family friend. For being a Thursday night at peak time, we had no wait and were seated right away. The bread was delicious and the cinnamon butter was even better. The food was of good size and portion, however, service was just OK. We asked our waiter for another basket of rolls and weren’t brought it until a busboy overheard us talking about it as well as bringing the wrong drinks. The music can be a little loud for dinner conversation but overall, it’s okay for dinner.

Called ahead and got seated promptly on a Saturday at 4:30. Service was great, waitress was excellent. Nice hot rolls. The only complaint was that I ordered the 10 oz prime rib and it was quite tough. Medium but tough. VERYNOISY so if you are looking for a place to have a discussion this would not be it.

This place is packed. Be Warned! A local favorite since it opened, its always hard to get in though they definitely try their best. The food is amazing and worth every penny. The portions are great. They know how to make a steak. The service can get behind at times, due to the crowds and once or twice we have found the ungrateful waiter but most visits are great. Parking can be a teeny bit of chore depending upon where you go, but lately they have worked to streamline the situation. Worth a visit.

Big Texas Roadhouse fan. Not really much of this place. We ordered cup of chili and boneless wings for apps chili was good wings were dry. We ordered two filets two combo ribeye and ribs sirloin a New York and filet medallions. Stake was a bit bland the sirloin was disgusting tasted old and no flavor. Ribeyes were way overcooked had to send in for new ones. Still not much flavor. Filet was ok had much better filet in California’s location Menifee. Service was great though. Waitress was kind and every employee seemed happy and welcome you. Honestly I am here on vacation with my family and they will never come back they loved their roadhouse in New York and was let down majorly by this location.

I was visiting Fort Myers from the east coast last weekend for EuroTripper(an awesome Euro car show, if you haven’t heard, now you have. Every year in February, people!)… It’s been forever since I’ve tasted those soft, warm, fresh rolls. You know, with that heavenly cinnamon butter they serve along the side — that just makes your mouth water; I immediately insisted we eat there. I’m an Austin, Texas native and you don’t normally don’t have to do a lot of searching for Roadhouse… Hence my enthusiasm. My husband and I have a really hard time finding a consecutively good tasting steak/burger patty, not overcooked, but we always get stuck with bland meat. Not here though! If you know you’re going to end up arriving at peak hours, they have call-ahead seating! It doesn’t mean you get to sit and order as soon as you get there, they put your name on their current waiting list(at the time of your call) and you don’t actually wait as long as the person who just walked in the door. Since I called ahead, we arrived & only waited for about 5 minutes, if that, before we got called for a table for two — which was awesome, because my husband was starting to gripe about his hunger by this point. You can just smell those rolls as soon as you walk in those doors, though! The joint was already very busy to begin with, lots of people already waiting to be sat, we still expected the wait time for our food to be forever, too. We ordered our food, had our fill of rolls & sweet iced tea… About 10 – 15 minutes goes by and surprisingly, our food has already made its way to our table! Our server was attentive & polite, the food was just as I hoped it would be(I recommend the Chicken Fried Steak) — delicious, generous portion. We were in and out with an hour & that’s typically our ideal/goal time! When I’m back in the area, I’ll be back!

Happened to stop in for a mid day meal — that point in your afternoon where you haven’t had lunch yet, but it’s too early for dinner… but it’s definitely a couple hours after lunch. Glad I went in. I’ve always found this place oddly fascinating. even up north. Peanut allergy clientele: You are forewarned — peanuts are all over the joint as barrels welcome you at the door. My visit to this Roadhouse was seriously eventful — the timing was right for 2:30 in the afternoon. My party and I were able to catch the end of the lunch special —(I think it was) $ 8.99 for an entrée listed on the menu, including 2 sides. This is your«normal» dinner entrée, but meant for the lunch crowd. Still has the same two sides, still comes with the all you can eat peanuts, still has a fresh basket of rolls and butter(mmmmmm). Only difference is it’s cheaper and during afternoon hours. Both members of my party had the steak. Difference in sides were salad and fries versus salad and baked potato. I made sure to ask about the crispy chicken tenders, as the last time I was in the one up north, it was all batter and no chicken. This poultry basket was all chicken and lightly battered — I was told it’s normally like that as well… you’re not trying to play«find the chicken». Woohoo! A meal of «substance»! All in all, it was a good trip over to that area of the city as I normally don’t frequent it alot. Will I go back if I feel the need to cowboy up? Perhaps!

Perfekt für einen Besuch in Cape Coral oder Umgebung. Super Service. Super essen. Ok man sollte bei einer größeren Gruppe vorbestellen. Aber das sollte nicht das Problem sein.

First time at a Texas Roadhouse. Knowing I would be limited since I don’t eat meat, I ordered the grilled salmon which comes with two sides. Very tasty and glad the server told me about some of the sides that are cooked with bacon fat and other meat products. Stuck to ceasar salad and sweet potato. They do have early bird specials for 8.99 bit all meat or chicken items. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Cold tall killians were good. It does get pretty loud as it was crowded on this Sunday afternoon but no wait for a table. Service was good and bill came to $ 56 for four including drinks so it won’t break the bank.
