I wish Unilocal also included half stars in their rating system, because I would definitely give Senior Tequila 3 ½ stars instead of three. They weren’t 100 per cent 4 «Wahoo I’m a fan!!!», but they’re not«meh, it’s ok, I guess». I have only been in once, so far, and that’s why I would lean more towards 3.5 right now. Maybe if I go in again, my opinion can change and it will be 4 stars. Three people went in for lunch on a Saturday. Impressed by the décor, the seating arrangement and the staff, we thought the meal was great as well. When you first sit down, a basket of freshly made(warmed) tortilla chips and basic salsa are brought to the table. You’re told that the salsa lined up on the table by the door is also for the chips, and it’s free of charge(but why is it by the door??? Weird). Yee… more sauces! An array of greens and reds, but no guac(like someone in my party first thought it was. it had mayo in it, giving the sauce a guac color). It’s the«Christmas» type sauces you hear about in the Southwestern States. They range from mild to hot, and there is a description with each. My party agreed that the mild was bland and the hot was mild. There was only one out of the 6 choices that was a true shit kicker hot, but the spice didn’t last *too* long. Meals: Tortilla Salad, Burrito Especial, and Enchilada and Taco meals were ordered. All the meals had chicken instead of beef. The Tortilla Salad was this giant bowl of a tortilla shell. It was a little crisper than the warmed chips we received when we walked in, and the taste was slightly different. It must be a different mix? We didn’t ask, because it wasn’t deterring from the meal. It was delicious and the chunks of chicken were moist. There was so much salad and chicken in this shell, it was hard to finish it; sadly, some was left on the plate. Burrito Especial was a giant burrito baby on the plate, laying next to rice and beans. This, like the other two meals, felt like a dinner for two. Easily shareable(though no one wanted to share!). The more you cut in to the burrito(warning: don’t pick it up… it can get messy, quick), the more CHUNKS of chicken you pull out with your fork. That’s a great thing to see — it shows they are putting real food in your meal, and not some canned or processed meat. The top of the burrito had a dollop of sour cream on one side, and a dollop of guacamole on the other, and across the top was shredded cheese. Inside with the chicken was rice and beans(who realized you’re getting double now, when you do rice and beans on the side???). It sure was a plentiful meal… just a few forkfuls of rice and beans were left on the plate. Enchilada and Taco: like the Burrito Especial and the Salad, this meal was giant and chunks of moist chicken were being pulled from the respective shells. Rice and beans on the side, the plate was almost cleaned. The person who ordered this meal claimed she had never had so much food for lunch, and has never had such filling food. If she could have, she would have finished and licked her plate, it was that good. It was agreed by everyone that the meals would serve as dinner and no one is going to eat later, as we were all stuffed to the gills… which is a good thing. You don’t want to leave a restaurant hungry. Another perk of the meals? They are surprisingly«cheap» for the amount of food you get. Between $ 12 and $ 15 for our meals, we would go back in an instant, because there were other things we would try. Again, the place was clean, the staff was nice and attentive, and the food was great. More reason to want to give this place half a star more… if I ever go back, I’ll make sure to re rate with the experience.

Alexandria was great! Thanks for making my birthday so special! She was phenomenal and the food was delicious. Margs were top shelf and wonderful. Staff friendly and nice and our waitress Alexandria was so good and took great care of us!

The staff is friendly. I think for the amount of food you get its overpriced. The food is average.

We had fantastic service from Ethan at the bar. The chips and salsa were great. We split a taco salad with shredded chicken and it was fresh and delicious! I had merlot wine and my wife had sangria and both were really good! The décor was amazing and the handmade wood/leather chairs from rustic branches were quite comfy! The prices were very reasonable and overall it was a pleasant experience. We will be back!

I didn’t care for the food much. The atmosphere was different and I was really excited about trying this restaurant. However, my wife and I were not impressed. Service was so slow on a Tuesday at lunch we were almost late back to work. The food was plain, nothing to rave about or go out of your way for.

Gross and over priced. Good was not good at all. I had the chicken quesadilla and my date had the beef enchilada. service was average. That’s about the only good thing I can add

I am not a big fan of mexican food out. but, every once and a while I want it. this is a great place. the staff is friendly and the inside décor is not over done. I got the steak burrito and it was delicious. the steak was tender and the toppings were fresh. the rice on the side had a nice smokey flavor, unlike any rice i have ever had before. the food came out quick and the endless warm corn chips for dipping in all kinds of sauces were very good. we will definitely go back here on our next visit to this area.

WHYISHOTCHEESESOEXPENSIVE? For«Fine Mexican Cuisine», as advertised, we didn’t find the food to be especially fresh or original. Dinner for two with no drinks cost $ 50+, and it really wasn’t that memorable. I came, I ate, and then I farted uncontrollably and took a five-alarm dump the next morning. Pretty much could’ve done that anywhere and for much less. Been there, tried it, and don’t really see the need to go back.

Food atmosphere and service were great! Cait, the bartender was superb! I had the burrito especial and it was amazing! Chicken in it was cooked perfect and all the toppings were fresh and complimented the Burrito perfectly.

Just opened two weeks ago. Service was excellent at the bar(thanks Cait). Lunch menu starts at $ 8.99 and I was very pleased with my lunch. My uncle thought the portions on the tacos was a little light for the price. Draft beer was $ 3.50 for bud light. Really nice décor.
