Nice and clean. The bread was really good. Awesome sandwiches. The homemade chips were nothing special. Quite small.

My wife and I are locals who dined here last weekend. This place is fantastic. It is run by a husband(chef) and wife(server). The lamb shank was amazing. The place is super clean, the food comes out piping hot and the atmosphere was warm, cozy and exactly what should be expected from a local spot. Super relaxing even during Season. We’ll be back fo sho.

The reviews were right, what a hidden gem!!! 5 of us went tonight & the food was excellent. The service was great with very friendly wait staff. Only negative for me is that I prefer hard alcohol, not just wine or beer… but understand that their small size prevents them from qualifying. Will definitely go again. 5

People weren’t wrong. This place is a hidden nugget. Had this month special. Blazed pork shank and it was by the best I’ve ever had. Worth the visit.

We were here a few months ago and the dinner was wonderful. Our dinner tonight was another success. I enjoyed the baked cod and my husband ordered the mahi-mahi. He loved it. You can tell the food is prepared by an experienced chef. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. We will return soon.

Might be the best hidden gem in Fort Myers. Went on a Thursday evening in June, so it was ‘lightly attended’: We walked in as one couple was walking out and we had the place to ourselves. The location is in an odd spot amongst some business condos, and the consignment shop in the front of the building having the«closed» sign almost made us turn around, but we went in and ever glad we did. Food — service — selection — attention to detail all off the charts. Eclectic beer list. Moroccan, Jamaican, Spanish, German and American dishes all on the same menu. A focused chef who doesn’t mess around. Aged steaks, homemade breads and desserts. Pull in, go inside, and order more food than you usually do. Go appetizer, salad, bread, entrée, dessert. Trust me on this. Everything is fantastic and they try really hard to serve a memorable meal. We will be back, often.

Pleasant surprise. Found them on Unilocal.Concerned when pulled in at 735pm and we were the only customers. They have pork, chicken, seafood and steak. I got the grilled mahi mahi with veggies and twice baked potatoe and french onion soup. You can get soup or salad. Fish was bland but that was perfectly fine. My coworker got the ckicken champaigne which means mushrooms. It was very good. They have wine and craft beers. Dessert was goumet. I had grilled peaches and homemade icecream. My coworker had crème brulet with amorredo. Very good service. Will be back.

Service was really good. Ambiance was good, soft toned down lighting. Food was not bad. The shrimp and crabcake was good. A bit pricey for the quality, texture and taste I was expecting. Over all a good restaurant to stop by and dine with good customer service.

All I can say is this place is delicious! Excellent service with great food at reasonable prices. We will be back for sure. We both are off the special menu. I had crab stuffed lobster tail and husband had cod with peppercorn sauce. Both served with fresh vegetable mix and twice baked potato AND cup of soup. Can’t wait to try the other dishes on the menu. Desserts sounded amazing but was way too stuffed to get one so will pass this time. Great job to the chef!

Thank you Unilocalers, what a great find, we loved Kenwood Lane Grille! I don’t know how to quantify this but the love that went into the food was tangible. Sari ordered the Baked Cod with Pancetta Bacon, I had the Pork with Bacon Bourbon Sauce. My pork was a boneless, double pork chop; tender, juicy, cooked to the perfect temperature. Sari’s cod was baked to just-done, on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. Sari’s plate was garnished with wilted spinach, mine came with the daily vegetable which was root vegetables. Sari had the Butternut Squash Bisque and we split a Boston Cream Pie dessert. Everything was delicious; this was one of our best meals in 2014.

Well cooked food, proteins better than vegetables. Had the stuffed mushrooms, pork chops, crab cakes, cod and polenta. The food came out slow for a nearly empty restaurant. Décor is… Interesting. A little overpriced and some things did not make their mark. Dessert is good!

Worth wending your way from US41 to this tiny bistro of less than 50 seats. Three waitstaff were available to us for dinner. All were equally attentive and entertaining. The menu itself is entertaining and informative, too. Each month the chef sets a theme, and assembles fresh ingredients to create his selections. We enjoyed cups of seasonal squash bisque, as well as leek & potato soup. Their stock was thin on cream yet bursting with flavor from a chicken stock base. Our table of four shared bites of our individual entrees — just because they were so well done: a Colonial beef Pye(yes, that’s how it was spelled with a nod to the 1700’s vernacular.) Grilled chicken over vegetarian polenta. Salmon over large beads of couscous. Pork a point, under a lattice of bacon. Then the four of us trusted our dedicated staff to bring coffee and dessert. One of our table guests threatened the waitress with 3AM stalking should the decaf turn out to be octane caffeine. True to promise, the coffee was indeed decaf and as of this writing, no one is currently out trying to be a pathetic felon while high on Collumbian beans. Dessert was a dense Italian pound cake, crested with almonds, whipped cream and chocolate. As if that was not decadent enough, we also ordered a ramekin of poached cranberries and sautéed apples under a baked cap of oats and brown sugar. Prices are very reasonable. Reservations are advised. And the wine list tempts even teetotalers.

Very good food and reasonably priced. Ambiance is lacking but still worth trying. Meats and cold cuts are fresh and home processed.

What a wonderful little hole in the wall. I have been in the area for business and I was lucky to find this place on Unilocal. The food is fantastic. You can tell everything is made in house. I’ve had the mahi mahi as well as their chicken entrée and both were fantastic. The service is great as well — very friendly. My coworkers and I will definitely continue to make this a regular stop for dinner when we’re in the area.

HIDDENGEM You will never find this place unless you go looking for it. It is worth seeking out, however. We thought our dinners were of quite a high quality. We started with complementary fresh from the oven dinner rolls, followed by the Taste Platter of stuffed mushrooms, shrimp & potato pancakes. Then the homemade soup & salad with special dressing. For our entrée we had the Stuffed Shrimp with veggies & twice baked potato and the Wiener Schnitzel with red cabbage and spaetzels. Everything was absolutely delicious, but of course we ordered way too much food, so we took a good bit of it home for the next day. Yummy.
