Collins Vision

I have had a disappointing experience
With Collins vision. When I had my cataract procedure. They scheduled me for the procedure at 11am. They told me I couldn’t have any water after 12am the night before. When they finally tried to give me the anesthesia it was 3pm I was totally dehydrated they had difficulty finding my veins. I never have a problem
It really hurt and I eas black & blue for weeks. Then I used the drops they gave me and my eyes was still blurry.
I went for the follow up a week after surgery. My eyes were still blurry
After s month I went in and told them I still
Have blurry eyes I need to see a dr today
They did no one could see me I would have to wait till tomorrow. Even though I told them I really need s prescription today. They could not make an exception
This is no way to run a business .
Do my whole experience with them was
Very disappointing.
I guess I will go to dr Franz for my other
Eye.

Very complete exam with state of the art equipment. On time, everyone knew their jobs. Friendly and competent.

I do not personally use this doctor. My mother had 2 corneal transplants here.1^st didn’t take second seems to be doing well. However, I have to say the office section is totally off. She had a bad reaction to the anesthesia that was used. When we went in the office I asked for a trash can the receptionist told me they were not a surgical center and kept working on her computer. We got one but only after she saw my other could barely stand & being asked 3x. I have also brought my mother here on 2 separate occasions they have «forgotten» her for almost a hour. That is completely unacceptable to forget a patient for a hour when their main course of action to getting better is laying flat on their back.
Doctor Collins is great. The reception needs to be re-​trained.

Surgeries went very well. Dr. Collins and staff provided a professional and well coordinated experience using up to date practices.
