Nemo’s On the Beach

Hot as heck and under par food. We had to have our burger re cooked amd our salad was taken off.

Awesome beach bar! Great service and delicious, ice cold drinks. Standard bar food. Great atmosphere on Fort Myers Beach. They even have lounge chairs out on the sand. Sweet views too!!!

Loved this place. We got an outdoor table which was amazing. I loved having a cold drink in my hand and my feet in the sand! We had the best waitress ever too. She was so busy but never forgot about us and was so friendly and great. Shrimp Mancini was unbelievable. We had a table of 5 and had two orders! We also had coconut shrimp which was just as delicious. I also had a salad with shrimp on it. It was just plain but the shrimp was grilled and yummy. Parking was across the street and paid parking at that. From the street, it was hard to see the sign for Nemos from the street. I would absolutely go back here!

My wife and I were walking along the beach and saw a couple of nice looking, open, beach chairs at Nemo’s and decided to stop in for a drink and an appetizer. It was a very disappointing experience. Several things went wrong: 1) it was about 4:30 pm and I asked about whether or not it was happy hour. The server said, «no, but you can use the deck chairs as long as you keep an open tab.» When my wife went to the bathroom, she discovered that there was a happy hour from 3 – 6 pm. 2) We ordered the Chilled Shrimp but got a different shrimp dish. Also, the food runner (that’s what the manager later described the person who delivered the dish) didn’t give us any silverware or napkins with the food. When we got his attention and explained that we got the wrong food he seemed disbelieving at first. Eventually he agreed to take it back, as though this were some kind of favor. We got the Chilled Shrimp a few minutes later, 3) but again — no silverware or napkins. We asked the female server who delivered the dish for at least some napkins and she said, «I will see if I can find any,» a disappeared never to be seen again.
So short story: our server didn’t inform us that it was happy hour, a food runner gave us the wrong food and didn’t really want to fix the problem and both the food runner and another server didn’t give us silverware or napkins.
After I paid the bill, I decided to let the manager know that they could have done better. His name was Zach and he was apologetic. He said if we came back they would take care of us. Sorry Zach life is too short.

Nemo’s on the Beach was definitely a great way to close out my mini Thanksgiving vacation on the beach. We stumbled upon this place grazing through Unilocal reviews, & found a review about someone bringing her dog. I stopped in, and checked to see if they were in fact dog friendly, & that was the case.
Nemo’s is on the side of the beach where dogs are allowed on leash. I just learned that when I went there. Wish I knew that sooner on my vacation because I would have been there earlier than the last day.
I feel like Nemo’s on the Beach can be a place for everyone. Those who are sports lovers, beer lovers, beach lovers, dog lovers, people who like to chill, have fun with their friends or family, be close to the beach, this is the place. You don’t have to bring or rent lounge chairs. You do not have to worry about hot grazing sun. You can be under the umbrella or outside of the umbrella.
If you do not like beer or wine, and you want mixed drinks, they have them. If you are like me who likes a girly frozen drink, this is your place. I ordered a Key West Colada with a splash of lime. It totally tasted like a Key Lime Pie. I also ordered a Strawberry Colada. Both tasted awesome under the perfect sun, and beautiful beach.
We also ordered chicken wings. There chicken wings are sooooo huge, and they have lots of meat on them. Seriously best chicken wings I have had ever ever. I don’t care for chicken wings because I feel like there’s no point in eating them. Here, there is a point, and it’s that they are that delicious.
Service was fine for me. For others, I saw it took them a while to get service from a different server. My server hustled. She ran around everywhere. She totally wouldn’t need to do a marathon. She was doing it servicing her customers as best as she can, and I commend her for it. I wish I remembered her name, she was that good.
One eh part about this place is the parking. It is stinky. Park across the street, and it is $ 6 all day. People who were locals would find people leaving and pay them a few bucks for their existing parking. It works out for everyone. It’s like half price parking then.
If you are looking for a chill kind of beach bar place, this is your place. I wish I knew of a place like this in the Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete area. I would totally spend all my weekends there.

I stopped here on a Friday afternoon to have a few beers and appetizers. It was an overcast windy day so it was nice to sit inside and have the breeze flow through the bar.
The service was a bit scattered and we had multiple waitresses helping us. They weren’t always around when we needed them.
We did order the Shrimp Mancini (twice) because it was that good! The perfect amount of spice to go with an ice cold beer.
This is a good casual place to stop at a day on the beach.

Went to the beach with my beagle and decided to stop for food and a few beers as we walked. We were told we could have the dog as long as we stayed at the picnic tables on the sand. Sounded great.
We sat and waited, and waited, and waited. We watched servers looked at us and turn and ignore us.
Another couple sat down on the picnic table next to us and they waited. The gentleman went and got a server who came and helped them and looked at us and ignored us, again.
We finally got up and left and had a great dinner elsewhere on the beach.
Since I work on the beach and I am asked all the time where to eat, I will not recommend Nemo’s on the Beach.
It’s too bad, I would have loved to try it and recommend it to my customers.

Nice place if you like your drinks watered down. I used to frequent this place often and the drinks and food were great. Not any more. Sad.

This review is strictly on the wings. Best wings. Although they never make them as «wet» as I like.
I have gone in for take out only. The location seems fun, but the parking and drunk karaōke groups would get on my nerves quick.
I digress– the wings are amazing, honey mustard, teriyaki, and spicy teriyaki are amazing. Worth the trip.
