Lennar at Waterside at The Catawba

Tonight my husband and I tried to get some information on Waterside at the Catawba. We arrived at the development at 5:45pm. We knew that they closed at 6pm and we were not planning on keeping anyone who works there past the closing time but unfortunately my husband did not get off of work until 5pm and then with the Fort Mill/​Charlotte traffic we could not make it there any sooner. As we were walking up to the entrance one of the associates made eye contact with us inside the building and then closed the lights off … I guess to give us a hint to leave and that they were not interested in helping us. We waited outside for a few minutes in shock and then 2 young women exited and I said to them that I thought they were open until 6pm (as I am standing in front of the huge sign with the hours which state that they close at 6pm) and told them that it was only 5:45pm. One of the women responded and said — «oh you want information” — and I said yes, you don’t close until 6pm right? And then she said that they close when it gets dark. They continued to walk to their respective cars and neither of them provided us with any information on the property. Even though the development looks nice from what we could see I can not get past how rude these 2 women were. I guess I just work in a profession where we do not turn people away (especially BEFORE closing time). They were both in their vehicles and drove off before closing time-​6pm. It would have only taken them a few minutes to give us the basic information we were hoping to get and they would not have lost a prospective home buyer. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
