If you head south on the Florida Trail and head left at the fork you will find a nice giant dry sinkhole. Makes for a great camp spot. Camping is permitted anywhere in the forest once the general gun season(hunting) closes… in 2014 that was January 4th. If you head North instead there is a nice campsite by hidden pond. These are remote areas with no facilities of any kind. Just the way I like it!
