My girlfriend’s favorite kimbap place. We come here to pick up food if we’re gonna go on a hike or … picnic. Yeah.

Great place, but closed for renovations for several months as of July 20, 2015. Sad my favorite lunch place is not open.

Seems like the owners have changed a couple of times and they’ve now made it more into a real restaurant than a pick-up/togo only type of place. They were more famous for their made-to-order kimbob than anything else, but the cheese kimbob I got togo on Saturday was absolutely dismal and I started getting angrier that they would even offer this as food. The rice was cold and not cooked well — in fact, I think it was at least a day old. They obviously ran out of ingredients because they doubled up on the yellow daikon and was missing the string beans. It was empty when I came in at around 4pm, but I do know that this place gets pretty packed and there are lines for lunch specials. I’ve also had a togo order of sashimi, which was surprisingly not bad. The seafood udon was not so good, however. It tasted like they poured a boatload of sugar in it, and they took FOREVER making it. The rolls are okay– nothing special to speak of. There’s plenty of other tiny sushi joints around here that make decent rolls, so I would say that their AYCE sushi deal is what sets them apart from everywhere else. I wouldn’t go to picnic for any occasion other than getting food for when I’m going on a roadtrip or just can’t really make it to a restaurant but don’t want any fast food.

The sushi here is unbelievable for an AYCE. The BBQ roll is incredible. –1 star for ambiance but the food is delicious and its BYOB which is also great. Very friendly staff and prompt service.

sushi wasn’t very good. Neither was the gyoza or the chicken.

I can talk about sushi forever… This place is delicious and they actually added a new menu, which is real good as well! If I don’t go to my regular sushi place, I come here and enjoy. I believe it’s a family business and they are really nice here.

The were not very busy, but our waiter(a young man with glasses) completely ignored us the entire time. We had to hunt him down for water, check, more rolls, whatever. Their«all you can eat» policy was strange and oddly strict. No sharing food, and anything you don’t finish you have to pay for on top of your $ 22? What? What about when your rolls suck? Still cost versus quantity it was a good deal I suppose but grocery store quality sushi, almost all of which had lump krab in it(a personal pet peeve). The shrimp shumai was slimy. Miso soup was good. But all in all, being completely ignored and pre-repremanded for wasting food upon seating made this a very unpleasant place to dine. Ridiculous.

What an outstanding selection of all you can eat sushi at a reasonable price. This BYOB sushi restaurant does not cheap on their fish when you all you can eat. They also don’t load their rolls with extra rice as you see at other all you can eats. Try the BBQ sushi roll. It will exceed expectations. Will do again soon.

This place has a great $ 20 all you can eat sushi buffet! I rounded the price up, comes out to around 21 when you include the tax. Available from 5 – 9 pm, Monday thru Saturday! Special rolls are included in the offer! They tend to be more filling. I tried the Midori Roll which consisted of crab meat, salmon, tuna, and cucumber topped with avocado. It was suggested by a friend and I was happy that I chose this for sure! Very filling and a nice flavor combo! Other specials I sampled were the spicy mania roll(spicy but good) and the deep fried spicy tuna(had a nice crisp and good flavor). The basic rolls I got were the spicy tuna and avocado as well as the spicy salmon and avocado. Nice size pieces, better portions than a lot of other places out there. Word to the wise don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach at this place. They want you not to waste what you order and want you to eat every last bite! So be aware of the first signs of you becoming full. Had a tougher time finishing towards the end. I have to say this place’s $ 20 buffet is such a great deal! I’d much rather come here and get that deal but I suppose if I was in the area for lunch that would be all right too. Keeping in mind there sushi is filling. So worth it though to go a little out of the way and grab this deal! The savings really add up! I don’t think I had this much sushi in one sitting in my entire life! Can’t wait for my next trip so I can try what else they have to offer! Oh yea almost forgot… B.Y.O.B.

I keep coming back to this place for I love the food, the hospitality, the atmosphere and the tidiness of the place(Sanitary Inspection Grade A) . I would definitely recommend going for the special roll 30% off deal. We had two rolls today: a Yellow stone(fresh roll with crunch, crab, salmon, mango, avocado, etc) and a French Kiss roll(shrimp tempura roll with avocado, scallions, lemon!!, etc). Both rolls were exquisitely good looking and so tasty that I almost ordered another round . The pictures are posted, you can check those out. The hot tea is served continuously at no charge + miso soup

Really delicious rolls. The shumai soup was really nice. It had some squash and 3 dumplings with a sweet broth. The barbecue roll is a must … Wow so good never had anything like that before.

When we went it was packed, yet the service was awesome. The waiters and waitress were very alert and accommodating. The food was pretty good. I knew back in the days this place was horrible. But after new management, this place has really improved. Although, one thing I could suggest is that the portion can be bigger.

came here again… price went up a little bit for the all you can eat sushi happy hour. It is now $ 18.95 but still totally worth it! My friend and I ordered 5 rolls in total and also they added a few small appetizers to the mix as well which is great. Definitely try the BBQ roll and the Haru roll, so far those are my fav. But all their rolls are just so delectable.

I’ve been going there for over seven years and it is the best place for korean sushi. I like their japanese style roll– soft shell crab roll is my favorite. Plus place is always clean and people are always super nice. I give 5 stars for sure!

Small, cozy spot with not a huge selection for a.y.c.e. sushi, but good enough for $ 17. Fish tasted appropriate, rice nicely cooked & everything was clean. The tea was excellent. The service was very very nice and overall, I’ll be going back add gain.

Had a wayyy better experience this time even after being piss sober. Yup that’s right, I didn’t bring alcohol this time. My table of 6 all got the AYCE special for $ 17. Although the food comes out sorta slow, it’s still worth the wait! I ordered a shit ton of fried beef dumplings while waiting. The waitress brought us decent miso soup right before the sushi came, perfect timing. The sushi came about 20 minutes after ordering. I ordered a spicy tuna avocado roll & a kamikaze roll. Both were AMAZING! My friend ordered the BBQ baked roll thingy. It was too spicy for her but I enjoyed it. My other friend said the fantasy roll wasn’t good. I’m glad the waitress wasn’t eyeing the shit out of our table this time. She was super busy & still served us pretty well. They’re raising the price to $ 18.95 on 1÷31÷14!!! Can’t wait to come back!

BYOB. STREETPARKING. ALLYOUCANEATSUSHIMONDAYTHROUGHSATURDAY, 5PMUNTIL9PM $ 17. This includes basic rolls, which are 8 pieces, salmon… tuna…philly…cucumber etc… BUTALSO… special rolls… like rainbow rolls, eel rols, volcano rolls, dragon rolls… shit i cant even remember the names. theres the picnic roll, which lights up on fire right before your face! HOLYFUCK! basically theres about 10 different rolls to choose from and about 15 basic rolls to choose from. I went on a Saturday, with 6 people. We brought mad vodka and wine, they were so kind to supply my drinking habit with shot glasses for all. Oh yeah, free miso soup. Im not sure if they always do this, but hey we got all you can eat, they probably thought we would get stuffed on it. Nope, not happening. The sushi was abosolutely d-lish. There was only one person making the sushi, and it was for 6 people… took about 20 mins to get our first two rolls per person. I had about 4 rolls.8 pieces each and then the table split the special roll that is new and cooks and lights up in this tin foil in the shape of a fish. Its very quiet and small, the woman who was our waitress was sweet and beared with my loud ass friends. Im going back this saturday and cant wait. its deff worth it. I will post a picture of the meal, deff make a stop here.
