I have received the best attention ever from a physician’s office. Dr. Darmody and his staff have treated me with so much dignity and respect. I have been a Diabetic for many years now and have been to many offices in 30 years, Dr. Darmody and his staff have made me feel that they care. They take their time to answer all of my questions and doubts, I for sure am happy with their service and care.

Dr. Darmody is a great doctor that clearly cares for his patients. When I first saw him a few years ago, he was completely thorough and spent extra time explaining everything to me. While it can be frustrating to call his office and not be able to reach someone, when you do get someone, they are professional and helpful. I spoke to Shayna today to make an appointment and she was very nice and promptly faxed me my lab orders. Overall, I recommend Dr. Darmody!

Dr Darmody and his staff are excellent professionals! I just had a biopsy done and it was painless! His staff is very pleasant to deal with, and I highly recommend Dr Darmody and his office. Dr Darmody is very knowledgeable and caring, and you will be well cared for! I just cannot believe the reviews that are posted, and I would disregard them; it was not my experience at all, and I have visited Dr Darmody’s office more than 5 times!!! And every time I am well cared for! Don’t confuse lack of knowledge with the processes in place to care for you with the actual professional experience; you’re going to your doctor’s office, yes there is a wait! You called into an office, I sure hope they’re not just sitting around, or they’d be out of business! Expectations these days can be unrealistic, and too often people that have a good experience(the majority), don’t bother to write a review. Two thumbs up for Dr Darmody and his staff!

I wish i read the other reviews before I went to Dr. Darmody! Staff, sooo rude, esp. the front desk and the nurse/aide who weighed me etc. The NP was very nice, but rushed, the office is freezing, The Dr. was not thorough and all he wanted was for me to sign up for the injections, and put down any research i had given him. Also waited over 6 weeks for an appt. and was told Tues. are very busy, well, shouldn’t a new patient be seen any day but a Tues. Frankly, the office is run like a puppy mill!

Dr. Darmody is a great physician but his staff is awful. Nobody ever answers the phone and it has taken up to a week to get a refill sent to the pharmacy. For my last 3 appointments I have had to wait for over an hour and a half to be seen. I understand emergencies come up but if the doctor is running more than 15 min late they should at least let the patient know and offer to re-schedule. Today, after waiting for 50 minutes and being told there were still 2 people before me I had enough. I will not be going back to this place or recommending Dr. Darmody.

Dr. Darmody is one of the best doctors in the area. I was a severe type 2 diabetic and we worked together to get my condition under control. Under his guidance and expertise I am no longer taking any diabetic medications, lost 65 pounds and feel better than I had for years. I know that without his guidance things would have ended badly for me. His staff has been nothing but kind and efficient, always trying to make accommodations for his patients.

Although Dr. Darmody is very pleasant, and seems to be a pretty decent, albeit not completely thorough doctor, his staff is beyond terrible. He clearly needs more administrative staff members. When I called to inquire about changing an appointment(on a Tuesday during business hours), I received a recording stating that someone would contact me within 24 to 48 hours!!! Really?! It takes 2 days to even speak with someone? I have never seen such poor business practices in all my life. If I could find a new endocrinologist I would. There is no excuse for how terribly this practice operates.
