Shula Burger

This is the best burger I’ve ever had. I thought it would be just another average burger place. Perfect fries too! Friendly staff and very clean! And OMG the brownie… you’ve got to try the brownie!!!

This burger was good! I’ve had better hence the 4 stars. The place was clean. Service was quick! The staff were friendly and attentive. The Nutella milkshake was amazing! The loaded fries was good too but I expected something bigger, messier, and more tastier. Thought the burgers are good, I’d pick Gilbert’s 17^th street Grill across the street over this place. NOTE. Gilbert’s 17^th street grill is a bit more expensive but worth it.

This place was in credible! Far exceeded my expectations. This is my first time here. The food was incredible. They even cook my burger to my liking… Rare. The service was above and beyond. Every retail store and restaurant should take a lesson from this place on customer service. I’m so pleased.

After our sweet ending 2 Riverside Market South, it was time to eat. My wife and I was pretty hungry and was hoping to find something quick. So we started wonder around on the Unilocal!app and it found us a burger joint near by.
To be honest, I am aware Don Shula’s got a couple of steak houses in South Florida but I did not know he also owns burger joints. Well, we are adventurous Unilocalers and are always willing to try anything for at least once.
We walked in and the lady behind the counter, whom we think is the manager, welcomed us immediately. She was not rushing to take our orders, instead she help explained the items in the menu for us and told us to just let her know when we are ready, which we appreciated it very much. We really do not like when the waiters breathing down on us while we are still deciding what to order.
For me, its a no-​brainer to try their Shula burger. The beef was cooked to medium perfectly with good flavors. It’s a classic take on a classic burger with American cheese, lettuces, tomatoes and pickle. My wife enjoys spicy food so she went with «The Heater». It’s got four pepper relish, red onion, pepperjack cheese, crispy jalapeños, chiptole spread and anything that spells spicy. She enjoyed it very much but wished it was a little bit spicier… oh boy. The side order onion rings we ordered were excellent. It was nice and crispy, and the onion batter has pretty good flavors too.
Overall, we enjoyed the meal very much. It might be a bit pricey for a couple of burgers, but we enjoyed the food and appreciate the friendly service. The place was so clean to the point almost spotless. And the Shula signature mustard was so tasty and delicious, for only $ 4.99 we almost wanted to buy one from the store and take it home with us. My wife already had given me a thumb up for us to come back!

I had the Beach Burger and it had great taste. I would definitely return to try some other selections.

The turkey burger was seasoned and cooked nicely. Many people who don’t eat turkey burgers tend to over cook the patty. The burger I got from Shula’s was moist and juicy.
The sweet potato fries and side Caesar salad I ordered were also tasty.
I gave Shula’s four stars because the food and service were very good. I might have given five stars if the bill for my lunch was $ 3 cheaper.

Such small portions. I left Hungry. The fries were tiny and extremely salty i won’t be back 5 guys it is…

I really like the burgers. They are juicy and cooked perfectly. The hand dipped chocolate shake is the best I have had in Fort Lauderdale. My friends from the office and I go quit regularly for lunch. They are quick, polite and knowledgeable regarding their menu.

Tiny patty, and $ 2.50 for the saltiest fries I’ve ever gotten in my life, which was also a smaller portion than a McDonald’s small value fry. Lunch for two people was $ 25 and we both left hungry. Its just a way more expensive Smashburger, but at least Smashburger was cheaper.

Everything was delish, even the cookies. We ordered like everything off the menu! Would definitely go back. Service was excellent.

So apparently south Florida has decided to make me love burgers again and Shula has taken the cake for my favorite hamburger in the city. I had the wine country burger add bacon (of course) and it was so good! If you like fresh green with creamy goat cheese, perfectly cooked beef and crispy bacon this is the one for you, my friend got the French onion which is creamy and salty and oniony and amazing! The sweet potato tots were more like dessert than a side and that was fine by me! All around a great experience, close to the beach too, just in case you want to do some sight seeing after.

Burgers are usually everyone’s favorite fast food choice! I’ve got to say Shula burger is on the top places to have a burger. For a family of 4 we spend 60 $ but knowing we got quality sirloin meat! Not to mention the service was excellent and the cleanliness of the restaurant was up to par! The burgers are extremely juicy and not to thin you barley get meat or not thick you can’t even chew it was in between both meat thicknesses. If you want a thicker burger you can add another patty for an extra charge. The overall presentation and quality of this restaurant is one to return to and enjoy again soon! recommend the Shula burger and the French onion burger!

This is one of the best burgers I’ve had in my entire life. Staff is friendly, price is fair and place is clean.

Located a few blocks off the north entrance of Port Everglades, I stopped at Shula Burger after Fleet Week. The service and burgers at this fast casual cousin of the steakhouse in Miami Lakes made me feel like the CNO. The cashier actually asked what I liked and gave a couple of recommendation. The waitress also stopped by to see if I liked my meal.
My late lunch /​early dinner consisted of their BBQ burger, juicy while medium well. Loaded to the top with thick, slightly salty bacon strip and melted cheese, I had them add caramelized onions to boost the sweet of the BBQ sauce. I also received extra sauce for my sea salt fries, which I also doused with ketchup. The entire meal was deliciously filling, enjoyed while watching NBA action on the various TV’S in the dining room. There are a few outside tables as well. I saw they had some desserts but actually passed this time. I’ll be back!

Grabbed a to go blue burger. The person who took the order was really friendly. The burger was great too. It was cooked a perfect medium, had plenty of blue cheese, and was a hearty size. I didn’t care much for the fries though.

Probably the best burger I’ve ever had.
However when I found out they were holding Don Shula hostage in the back and using his meat for the burgers I was quite repulsed.
Overall it was a solid burger, but I’m still curious as to where they got they mayonnaise from. Maybe I’ll find out next time

First Time here and i got a great impresion!
I order the mushroom swiss burger, was delicious, juicy, full of flavor and the perfect size, we also order french fries, onion rings and a side salad and everything was delicious. The service was great, we got greated by a young girl and she describe and help us with our selections then we seated at the patio with a wonderful weather in a nice seating and two guys complete the service !!
Good prices, nice restaurant, great service and a delicious burger !! Can’t wait to come back

Service was great, and the hamburgers were cooked just to our liking. We each had the California burger — wasn’t sure about a cucumber in the description but the taste was great!
Fries were cooked perfect and not greasy!
Love that they had rootbeer as a soda option too!
Nice tables outside to eat and enjoy the weather. Only crummy thing was the table next to us had a smoker… not sure the FL laws but ugh that was the only negative at this place.

Walked in and being an out-​of-​towner, was greeted by a really nice girl named Gabby at the counter. She made some recommendations, and I went with the French Onion burger, with some sweet potato tots on the side.
Took it to go, and when I got home, the burger was still hot and fresh. The bun was alive, and the tots were still hot. I’m thoroughly satisfied, and the nice smile from the girl at the counter helped bring it all together.
Good job Shula Burger. You’re as classy as the name of the guy on the door.

The last meal in FT Lauderdale was at their airport before embarking back to T.O.
Our entourage encountered Shula Burger which looked like a fun foodie joint compared to the usual Chili’s located a few yards down.
After scanning through the menu and contemplating, the server recommended their Beach burger. With jack cheddar, onions, fried shrimp stuffed into an all American beef burger sandwich this sold me and my gut. To top it off I ordered it with some fries and their local beer… sorry forgot the name of the brewer.
Long story short, this foodie surprise was worth every bite to cure my hunger, but boy did I crave some green tea with all that stick — to — your– ribs type of food lol!
