Loved the food! Filet mignon shish kabob, basmati rice and grilled veggies. Best food in an airport that I’ve found. Not the typical«fast food». So tasty and healthy!

Boy have things gone downhill at the airport Pasha’s. Our flight was delayed for nearly 3 hours(Yay Southwest!) soming home to Philly so we were stuck having dinner in the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Pasha’s was our only real choice. I ordered a filet mignon(try overcooked flavorless beef tips) on tabbouleh(way too lemony). Husband also had dried out filet with tasteless white rice and veggies anda cold, hard whole wheat pta half. El kiddo had a chicken kebab wrap and she actually enjoyed it. Whew. They are out or Turkey do not serve lamb any more and the quality is just not there. And service is very slow(we were not in a hurry but if you are trying to catch a flight you kmay not wanna come here.)

I am 100% certain that this place would be out of business if it wasn’t the only option in this airport terminal! The level of service is beyond HORRIBLE. A sloth has more emotion than the waitstaff at this restaurant. Whoever does the hiring for this restaurant needs to find a new career. Do whatever you can to find a different place to eat. The TSA had more speed and enthusiasm than the employees of Pasha’s. Avoid at all cost!

The waitress was great and friendly. The wait for our food was not long at all. BUT, my chicken and beef kabobs where COLD! Not slightly cold, but sitting there forever cold. I ate them with no complaint because I was to tired to send them back. My husband food however was very hot. It was a soup with rice, very tasty. But next time I am eating outside of this terminal if Pasha’s is the only sit down food they offer in that area. :(

The only sit down place but I ordered to go this time. I didn’t have the desire or the time. I didn’t recall it being fantastic. The filet mignon was not impressive nor was the rice. I was sad that this was over priced. 2 kebabs, heap of rice, a bad side of flat bread, and 3 pieces if grilled zucchini. If you’re going to pay for the platter, you might as well just order the 2 kebabs and call it a day. I ended up throwing the rest away.

As the only place to get non pre-prepared food in terminal B, you can correctly assume this place will abuse their monopoly. A passerby asked the three of us individual travelers that were waiting at the pick-up counter how long we had been there(the answer: way too long!) and remarked that every time he had been here, they had taken forever. Considering the the cashier(rudely) told us the only item available for breakfast was the Mediterranean Eggselent wrap, you would think they would be more efficient making the exact same thing over and over. The cashier was also dismissive of my questions, and just kept repeating«Eggscelent Wrap» which I took to be an answer, and is how a vegan ended up eating half of a egg wrap before throwing it out because it was so gross. The wrap was really long and thin which made it awkward to eat, and the filling was bland scrambled eggs with some green peppers and olives thrown in. Make this your last choice behind a granola bar if you don’t want a sandwich or salad that’s been in the fridge for hours. It’s probably fine if you’re not worried about being vegan/vegetarian, but I for one will grab a luna bar from Hudson News next time, and possibly come here for black coffee if the line at Dunkin is too long because they use the same blend.

I eat here out if necessity as it is the only place to sit down and eat at in Terminal 1. So, if you can wait — wait. If not, the food is fine — nothing to write home about.

The only non-greasy airport food option in terminal 1. They have a sit down place for people with more time and an express. This review is for their express joint. I was too hungover and wanted to put something healthy into my body. Got a cucumber/tomato/3 olives salad with olive oil(under $ 6, not too bad for airport salad prices). Pretty decent, but it’s hard to mess that one up. Asked the worker what kind of chicken soup is on the menu since«chicken soup» sounded pretty vague. Her reply? «Chicken soup, it’s chicken.» Just so you know, it’s kind of like a chicken vegetable minestrone soup. Little tiny chunks of overcooked chicken breast, cilantro, and carrots, probably all leftovers from the day before. It was okay, nothing to write home about.

The addition of anything to Terminal 1B certainly can’t make the experience worse though the addition of Pasha’s adds little to it. As is typical with most airport food services, the drinks are cheaply prepared concoctions served at high prices such as the Bloody Mary I had made from what was little more than a tomato juice with a slight Worcestershire flavor, then for garnish, if you want to call it a garnish, nothing but lemon wedge along with a straw. They also don’t seem to realize than certain people like me are traveling through here on different time zones, hence what is 8:00 o’clock to them isn’t 8:00 o’clock in the morning to me, and they don’t serve any liquor until it is their 8:00 o’clock AM hour. Their food emphasis seems to be more on having no MSG, no trans fats and health rather than flavor and quality of taste which is more than evident when you bite into any of it. Food preparation seems to take forever, the wraps are messy, seemingly prepared in haste with a dried out flavor. Then for service, Ugh! Plan on getting some«Sorry, I forgot» or «Sorry for the mistake» responses along with a typically high price tag for whatever you might order.

I have eaten here twice, the first time, the food was underwhelming. The pita had a cheap consistency and was cold, the falafel was fine in flavor but was dry. On our second visit, we decided to give the place another shot. Again, the same issues with the food — tasted cheap, unsatisfactory consistency and mouth feel. Both times, the service was fast and like expected, we were provided with to-go cups and our check without asking. That is pretty awesome for any airport restaurant. I won’t be fooled a third time as the first two visits, I really did not find any dish to be redeeming.

Stopped in at the bar for a drink before my flight. My wife and I got ignored for 15 minutes at an empty bar. Then we asked for bloody Mary’s to start off our vacation and he assumed that I wanted their super premium vodka essentially to inflate the check. Then he poured some Smirnoff into a rocks glass and dumped a premade mix on top. Then being the lazy bartender that he is he didn’t bother to stir it so the top if my drink was red and the bottom was clear. After tasting the drink it was missing tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. The drunk was aweful. We decided to skip the food and get a pbj next door instead.

olives in a breakfast wrap? Interesting… this and DD are your only options(unless you were smart enough and up early enough to pack your own). It’s pricey too for what it is and there’s not alot of healthy selections here. Best of Luck!

Food took forever and was less than satisfactory. Our party of 2 and the party of 6 behind us had to flag down two employees to get someone to seat us. I ordered the feta cheese starter and the beef mini burgers. My Bloody Mary tasted ok but was too thick. The food took forever! Not enough meat in the burgers. My feta appetizer was an actual brick of feta cheese with a tiny pita chip. If I were to eat the entire feta brick, I would never be able to poop again. I would not recommend this place. I’d rather eat a bag of pretzels from the Hudson News next door.

If you’re a liquor drinker, run from this place. Not only are the drinks expensive, they use those incredibly stupid electronic measured pour devices since they don’t trust their employees. You’re be lucky if your $ 9 rum and coke contains an ounce of rum. Beers are not horribly priced, so if you’re used to getting screwed at airports, this won’t feel any different. The food is mostly bland, overcooked or warm/reheated. The greek yogurt is decent.

So Kim and I are tired and grumpy from traveling for several days, have just arrived at the airport and are looking for something to eat. I really want coffee and a real breakfast and Kim just wants me to stop being grumpy. Thinking this place was bar, our choices are Dunkin Donuts or a little vendor that has sandwiches and Dunkin Donuts. Then I see Pasha’s has a place to sit and eat. Whoo Hoo! We sit down and I order coffee while we look at the menu and the response is «Sorry, we only serve coffee for breakfast and we closed than menu 20 minutes ago» Now I am very grumpy, Kim is not happy cause I don’t get coffee which she knows will make me less grumpy and we have to order off a Mediterranean Menu, when we really just wanted something simple and familiar. The waitress was very friendly, recognized that we were not understanding the menu and walked us though options. I hear her say something along the lines of «this is like Pizza» and I am «OK, Pizza is familiar». They call a «Pide». WOW, it was very good, I loved the bread and the cheeses. While I REALLY wanted a coffee, the meal turned the day around(I was much less grumpy after eating thank you) The food was delicious and the service was great. On top of that, it was the first meal we had in Florida where I didn’t have to check my bank account to ensure we had enough money to pay for it. Well Done Pasha’s! Note, you still lose points for not having coffee however…

I asked the lady being which one between the chicken wrap and the spicy chicken wrap did she suggest. She said spicy. All the while her attitude was horrible. My rule of thumb if you don’t like the job find something else. I got the wrap first thing I noticed was a beef label on my wrap. So I opened it up it was chicken. It was extremely messy and not very well put together. The chicken was good but everything else with it was horrible. I gave it a two because of the front counter ladyl. Would have been a the star if it wasn’t for that.

Its not like you have a lot to choose from in this terminal. Its between«god-awful» and«about to die of hunger». The food here looks pitiful, and came out wrong several times. The staff was helpful and apologetic though.

As with previous reviewers, this place has a lot of pointers that it could take to improve service: 1. Friendlier bar staff, a blonde older woman named Vicky was pleasant 2. Expediter at to-go window was over her job and was visibly rolling her eyes; she disappeared at one point, leaving my order waiting to be served for at least five minutes; I later saw her screaming into her phone about her boyfriend problems 3. Of the three items I ordered, they were out of three 4. Host for the«sit-down» portion barked about when and where you could sit in the restaurant and for 90 mins. max. Food was nothing exceptional and I’ve had better but it’s an «excellent» choice when you have nothing else to choose from.

Oh, falafel wrap. Oh, bland, drippy, boring falafel wrap… At least you’re cheap, unlike most airport food. But I still f-ing hate you.

I was pretty happy eating here. It was a great change of pace from normal airport food. I walked into Pasha’s and sat down at the bar thinking it was a Chili’s. Perhaps it’s because I saw and advertisement for Chili’s and I thought, «oh what the hell, I’ll have some boneless wings and a beer.» This place was so much better! When the menu arrived, it was pages upon pages of middle eastern food. I blinked a few times making sure I was seeing straight and then I realized that I was indeed not sitting in Chili’s. I was quite pleased by this fact. I got the mixed chicken grill. It was a chicken kebab, ground chicken patties and grilled vegetables all over basmati rice. I had two orders of tzatziki for dipping. It was pretty tasty. Beers and other alcohol are quite pricey here. You’re in an airport though, what do you really expect. They had a bunch of televisions at the bar showing lots of sports. This is a great spot for the pre-flight meal.
