I love this place the food is great and the ambiance is awesome. The drinks need improvement. Never had a good martini there. I would go more often if they got new drinks!!!

Definitely as good as it gets! Local favorite. On the water. Superb staff. Specials to die for. Taking business clients out, this was a 5-star selection. Sarah served us with aplomb. My guests loved their lamb and Chilean sea bass, but I know my Kaluz Danish ribs were best. Can’t recommend highly enough, and I will continue my lame joke of «can’t lose with Kaluz»

This place is awesome. The atmosphere/ambiance/design couldn’t be better. The perfect setting for dinner, apps, or just a drink. The place was packed on a random Monday night. Parking is either valet or self-park in the lot of an adjacent business just to the east. I’m assuming they have an agreement with that owner… The food was excellent. We sat at the inside bar and had a Tuna Tar Tar app, shrimp and sea bass ceviche special, blue crab dip, and a BA burger. Everything was phenomenal. The service was great too. Bartenders couldn’t have been anymore professional and friendly. Only thing I’d have changed would have been to be able to get a seat outside. Better get there early or make a reservation!

Very nice ambiance especially the seats by the intercoastal… Our waitress Jennifer was excellent!!! Also food deivery very fast and huge portion sizes. Coconut mojito was delish!!! Could have 1 a day… food was«meh»!! Ordered tuna tartar… Was very blah and the chips were oily… Salmon was very good and chicken was average…

Kaluz is a beautiful restaurant with amazing views and atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the menu options are great. The food however was just average while the prices were very high. I ordered the prime rib and my wife ordered the organic roasted chicken. The prime rib looked great but it was over seasoned and the mashed potatoes shared the same over seasoned flavoring. My wife enjoyed her chicken and baked potato but wasn’t blown away. The atmosphere might be the best around but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Ordered only take-out from Kaluz. It’s a nice spot on the water and both salads we got, the quinoa with chicken and the thai noodle with shrimp(but subbed shrimp for cajun chicken) were delicious. Nice airy atmosphere and staff were attentive and pleasant.

Please read this before you go there! I would’ve posted a four star because the food was really good. we had a problem with our first waitress. We asked for two soups as it was a cold day and they were lukewarm. When I told her they weren’t hot enough she argued with me and said they were. I asked for the manager the manager said oh well it was hot enough. But she gave me a new waiter and his name was Joe and he was absolutely wonderful. I also saw the girl talking to her friend about the soup and rolling her eyes and laughing at us. She did that right in front of us. She was never very friendly from the start never told us specials or anything . I got a new waiter his name was Joe. he was wonderful and our experience after that was great. He was a waiter at Houston’s for 18 years before that. I’m posting this because I can’t stand to see customer service as bad as it is and someone who can be so rude and expect you to just deal with it and tip them. If it hadn’t been for Joe I would never go back to the restaurant. THANKYOUJOE.

Been here twice when I wrote review and going on half a dozen so far. I love the vibe here: casual, elegant, boating atmosphere. Large and modest sized yachts pull up to dock and linen shorts pop out, but also some women dress over the top bleached blondes and bojangled bedazzlers dot the bar stools. It’s Very Miami but with the friendly unstuffiness as a plus that it is not Miami. And I love my hometown but I recognize its faults. The Food is fabulous and plated elegant enough without pretension. Hearty portions ensure you a conflict at dessert time. My favorite waiters are Jeff and another waitress whose name begins with a T. She is sassy NY and adorable. So tell them«Daniella Sent Me» and they may look at you puzzled. Tell em anyway and start a thing. Dietary needs are respected — meaning go ahead and make your request. I love that they don’t bring bread to the table(I’m like Julia Dreyfus in that film«Enough Said» where I prefer they don’t bring it because I end up eating it!). But They have amazing flatbreads that you will love so order those for carbs. Food is abundant so share the apps and enjoy your main fully that way because you know the best part of a meal is dessert. Here you will want to agree. Their bread pudding gets an OMG. The outside tables are not reservable so get early to your reservation and go outside and Sophia will seat you on a first come first serve. Table 112 is my favorite so please don’t book it… of course when I don’t take the booths outside, which are the best option for outdoors if you aren’t sure how the weather will turn. Free valet parking but you can park your own next lot. Maybe I’ll see you there? I’m the one grazing on the chunky guac.

Wow! Everything was perfect! From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, complete perfection. The service was superb! Everyone was very professional and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful with an amazing décor, incredible open kitchen and a wonderful view of the Intercoastal waterway! The food is spectacular! Starting with the Chicken Lollipops to the 20 oz Bone-In Ribeye to the Yellowtail Snapper! Everything was amazing! And if that wasn’t enough, the Bread Pudding for dessert was phenomenal! I will no doubt return with pleasure.

I love Kaluz! Did I sell it to hard up front? Too much punctuation to start a review?!? Kaluz is my go to place in mid-broward for a drink on the water, a romantic bite, or a classy dinner. It’s not hard to brag about Kaluz once someone has been inside. After valeting between a phantom and a mazarati you will step into a joint that’s bubbling with energy. It’s always got a decent amount of clientele, from older folks to hipsters. Me, I prefer the outside bar. The view is a classic intercostal view. A strong emphasis on architecture and interior design is obvious as you walk about. The bar itself is worked by genuinely nice and cheerful folks. They know how to make a drink and won’t bother you until you give a vibe you need them. The guac, excellent. The dirty martini, solid. The posh, spot on. It’s the spot to be, even for a quick drink.

Excellent service ad the waterfront views make this place a winner. Oh yes and the food is pretty good too. I always sit outside, but those tables are on a first come first serve basis. The outdoor bar and lounge area serve as a nice waiting area. The visit of this review, I had chicken pops, bone in ribeye and bread pudding. The chicken pops were a little bland but very cute mini drumsticks arranged like lollipops on the plate. The rib eye was perfectly cooked to order and was served with a loaded baked potato. I don’t know what they did with that potato but it was smooth and creamy like mashed potatoes. My dinner partner is a lover of bread pudding so we shared the dessert. It was very moist and the fresh berry topping was a nice touch.
