Been coming to this place for 7 – 8 years, one of the best, most consistent places on the beach. Waitstaff is awesome and prices reasonable… parking in the garage is a real bonus on a busy beach day.

Had breakfast here this morning and this was the best morning we have had so far in FL! Great view, waiter, and a great classic breakfast. I can’t see what there is to complain about.

Not even one star. Rude and uninviting. Was denied service from eight adults because we had a small child with us. Not to mention they didn’t let us sit together outside. We will never go back.

The food was okay but the service was poor. They are unwilling to make any substitutions to the menu.

REVIEWFORCOFFEESHOPONLY… I did not experience the restaurant/café here, however I did have a very nice visit to the takeaway side of the café, which is solely a coffee shop which serves some limited breakfast items. For my needs on a typical beach vacation morning, I’m off to a slow start and I really just need a nice coffee and a table with a view to kick off my day. H2O fit the bill just fine, with a few outdoor tables facing the beach, and a really nice selection of coffee drinks all served up by a very friendly gentleman inside the café. You really can’t beat the affordability of their iced coffee or espresso/latte drinks, and I can’t emphasize how nice the employees were behind the counter. I’m not sure of how the restaurant can vary so widely in terms of reviews compared to the coffee shop side of the café, but I’d be leery of the restaurant based on those reviews. However, I no doubt recommend this spot for a quick coffee and light breakfast pastry while chilling inside the coffee shop of sitting outside watching the FL Beach world go by,

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. The drinks were amazing. I had a frozen margarita and my husband had the frozen daiquiri. They were huge, beautiful and delicious. The steak salad was also very good and my husband really liked the blackened Mahdi sandwich. Can’t beat the beach view and people watching. The waiter was quite prompt and friendly. Overall, a very nice experience.

We were looking for Cuban Sandwich within 3 blocks of our hotel and H2O was the only that had it in the menu. A little disappointed, the sandwich was supposed to have sliced pickles in the sandwich but they served a dill pickle on the side. The sandwich itself was marginal also. The amount of pork was minimal, flavor was next to none. The waiter Richie recommended the Salmon Sashimi Salad $ 16.95 and it was good except for the mushy chopped up tomatoes. The service was spotty, water glass was empty and not filled. Fries were served with Cuban sandwich but no ketchup. And yet he put an asterisk next to the 22% tip on the check as recommended. Corona was $ 6 for the bottle.

So a couple years ago my parents came here on a trip and said they really enjoyed their lunch, both getting cuban sandwiches and everything was good. Flash forward to today and I join them for another lunch. They were definitely disappointed from the first experience as was i for my first time I ordered the Cuban this time, which had bland flavor other than sharp mustard which was way too much and made it so overpowering. my sandwich wasnt toasted and it was cold. dad ordered the Steak sandwich which was meh, overcooked meat, bland, nothing«wow» and my mom ordered the Chicken sandwich which, other than the grilled onions, was utterly boring the ONLY excellent part of each plate were the french fries, i don’t know how they can make the fries so perfect, crispy, fresh fried, and screw up the sandwiches everything on the menu is ridiculously overpriced, this came to a $ 50 lunch, each sandwich being $ 15 roughly. ridiculous, overpriced, disgusting food.

Breakfast menu is very small and they won’t serve anything off the lunch or dinner menu, no exceptions. Breakfast sandwiches were deli meat, American cheese singles(Kraft?) and white bread, very basic and uninspired. The smoothies are a joke, just sugar water. The fruit platter is $ 11 for a few pieces of melon. Everyone in our group was unimpressed with the food, we will definitely not return.

Wish I read the review before we strolled in here. The first thing thing that happened was the hostess brought us to a table that was not cleaned, so we stood there to wait for someone to clean it. The seared tuna was good. The lobster dinner with pasta was okay, a bit bland, but the presentation was nice. I ordered the conch chowder, it was not good.

Came here as a result of walking out of a near by resturant for horrible service. Night and day! Richie and the new girl at the bar were great!(Sorry didn’t catch her name) food took a little long is my only complaint. Great service and great views.

I hate when servers have attitude that it just makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable to be the there. At $ 15 for a guacamole, you could at least nice? such attitude over what to order and then the fact that our food came out cold was somehow our fault? ok…

The steak salad is to die for. Trust me. Just do it. Plus, the view overlooking the ocean is amazing. Just the spot to relax, enjoy dinner and a glass of wine.

Had cocktails and dinner at H2O tonight. He bartender was very friendly and accommodating. We then moved to the patio to eat out front along the sidewalk. Our waiter was not very friendly. He was wet and sweaty and didn’t look like a waiter should working in this class of restaurant. He was less then friendly and didn’t listen to what we wanted — he got the main entrée order and ran away before we finished our order. Needless they didn’t get the additional sale and we didn’t get everything we wanted. The patio was busy but there was certainly enough staff to handle the customers.

Loved this place. Had a nice lunch there on a Sunday. Freshly made guacamole and chips along with great Long Island Iced teas. The Cuban sandwich was also fresh and delicious.

Do not go to this restaurant. Our server Andre was polite and attentive and the coconut sorbet was good. I take service pretty seriously, but even Andre could not make up for the experience of eating the«food» at this restaurant. We decided to dine here because of the extensive list of Italian pasta dishes. We asked Andre to ask the cook about whether the pasta is cooked fresh to order or preboiled at an earlier time in the day. He came back with the answer that the pasta is preboiled and the chef was not willing to boil our pasta fresh. The place was not busy at all, but I guess putting a pot of salted water on the stove and adding pasta was just too much effort for a paying customer. We ordered the cozze posilipo. Overcooked and marinara was too thick. Shellfish should be in a brothier sauce. They added a few scallops which were so overcooked I can only guess that they were microwaved. We ordered the cappellini despite knowing the pasta had been cooked probably hours before. It was cooked molto al dente, but that’s ok because that’s better than being overcooked. The sauce was not bad. The pasta ended up being the most edible of the dishes we ordered. We then ordered the grouper. This came with boiled veggie mix and what were definitely from-the-box mashed potatoes. The grouper was soaked in some kind of red pepper sauce that we scraped off. Things like that only hide the taste of the fish. Then we figured out why it was there in such proportion — the fish was so unbelievably overcooked. It had no flavor at all and literally had the texture of rubber. I felt guilty but we really couldn’t eat it. My guess is that the only reason this place is still open is because the venue is nice and the menu is deceivingly authentic-looking. I would be surprised if they have any returning customers. The food is so, so horrible.

I’ve been here twice, both times for breakfast. The restaurant was clean especially with that white linen table cloth feel. The view from the tables inside or out is prime; great for people watching. The wait staff was friendly but response to the tables for service was spotty. It seems like they will seat you before a server is ready so the wait for service seems long. The food was pretty decent, but nothing that I personally couldn’t make myself at home. All in all, it’s not a bad place to go if you’re in the area and it’s convenient but I wouldn’t go out of your way to come here.

Typically I don’t want anything to do with the restaurants on ft Lauderdale beach, but we met up with our vacationing cousin from NY at the nearby Elbo Room and ended up here. Food was DELICIOUS! My daughter and I shared the spaghetti w/meat sauce. YUM!(There is a sharing charge of $ 5, but since my daughter is only 5 and they don’t have a kid’s menu there was no added charge). Husband had Greek salad w/grilled chicken… he enjoyed it. He also had spicy conch chowder which he said was very good. Cousin had sausage rigatoni which he said was very good. We started with calamari & zucchini and the fish tacos. YUM! the garlic bread was awesome. Our waiter, James, was very personable and very good! All in all we would totally go back. Loved the beach view. Loved the food. Loved the service.

This beach-side café, with plenty of umbrellas shielding diners from the hot Florida sun, tends to draw in people walking by and it snagged us as we were looking for some liquid refreshments. Complimenting our drinks, we loved the delicious fish taco appetizer… meaty fried fish fillets covered with shredded lettuce and tomato and accompanied by a pair of condiments: a spicy salsa and a kitchen-made tartar sauce. Awesome combo on an excellent taco. The service however, was a bit discombobulated here today taking the«H2O» down one star from a potential four.
